[Q] [Help] Help needed for Spice Fire One Rooting - Firefox OS General

I bought a Spice fire one recently. I tried the following things,
1. connect it via ADB (worked)
2. Booting into recovery or bootloader( failed.. no combination of keys worked but Fast boot via ADB works)
3. Tried to root it ( Failure)
4. Finally, Tried to flash the CWM via fastboot , worst mistake of all ( phone bricked) :crying:
I have thrown it away and ordered new mobile, which will be delivered soon. I need help to root this phone because, it has Os 1.4 only and spice is not providing any upgrade. In the fastboot window i saw spreadtrum's logo, possibly chipset is from Spreadtrum. I donot know where to start for rooting , as i dont know any source or kernel for this phone. Any help or pointing me towards correct direction will be a great help to me.
Edit: It has Spreadtrum sp8810 Processor
Thank you.

Everything was okay I ve rooted device but the problem occur when I tried to access recovery mode...I ve tried everything pressed up down power keys ..pressed up + power...pressed down+power nothing works for me.I installed ROM manager and I was surprised to see I ve two recovery installed in my mobile.in Rom manager I booted my device in recovery mode but again I land on lock screen. After trying everything I decided to give a try to TWRP manager and this also showed me I have already installed TWRP.I booted my device into recovery mode from TWRP menu. And This time I got this error

----------------------------------------------------
It is because I have an strong kernal?
Is there any possible solution?
I was dying to install 5.1 but I stucked upon this...Please XDA Team I Am expecting a quick solution....
If it is due to kernal version is there any possible way to install an old stable kernal? Is it possible to install custom ROM?please give me a solution
Your bootloader is locked. No possibility of flashing TWRP or any other recovery, kernel or ROM other than what's already on your phone...
The only thing you can do is root which you have already done. Next step is debloat and learn to live with your phone

Bricked Zuk Z1

Hello,
Ok, here is the situation
I have a Zuk Z1 with last COS update 12.1 with locked bootloader, no root etc ... (I didn't touch anything).
Yesterday, it reboot by itself but I got bootloop (starting apps then again lenovo boot image ...)
I try to factory reset by using the recovery metohd, it's start normally (optimizing apps ...) but then reboot and again bootloop ...
So I try to sideload the official COS ROM from Cyanogen Support (cm-12.1-YOG4PAS9IG-ham-signed-d4fc2c5394.zip), but the sideload stuck at 47% and saying total xfer: 1.00x and the phone go back to recovery but still have boot loop ...
I try to boot in fastboot and use the All In One tool to flash official ROM but didn't work (Its say that the bootloader is lock)
I find without knowing this menu a debugging hardware tool test, and then I run the test, its say SD : Fail and in another I got SD : Fail and no sd fuse in dir
I saw many thread here and on google, and some say that we have to use qfil/qpst method, and find this which seems complete : http://www.androidbrick.com/lenovo-zuk-phones-qfil-roms-unbrick-guide/
But as I don't know if its hardware issue or soft brick ...
Could someone help me to recover my phone to COS or CM by using the right method ?
Thank you !

Go with qpst/qfil method to recover your phone
And did you tried changing the USB port or cable while side loading cos ROM .. Cause most of issues are solved by the changing USB port or cable.. So try this.. Or else qfil is the option

Lenovo Tablet 2 1050L boot failure after attempted root

hi - I hope someone can help me. I have a LTE enabled Lenovo Tablet 2 1050L which I attempted to root using the instructions given here ... https://forum.xda-developers.com/thinkpad-tablet/general/how-to-root-yoga-tablet-2-t3251571 ... but I have managed to brick my device. I successfully installed SuperSU but then read that Magisk was better and tried the same procedure with that but it didn't work. Now when the tablet starts up, I get a message which says ... "EFILINUX ERROR [android_image_start_buffer:737] boot image digital signature verification failed : 0000001A" which appears over the initial Lenovo splash screen. I then get to the Android system recovery menu but I can't get the table any further than this. I have tried wiping data / factory resetting but this does not work.
I can boot the tablet into recovery mode using CWM or TWRP but I have no idea what to do now. I guess I shouldn't have messed. I hope someone can help - I've tried the official Lenovo forums but no one has answered in a week.
Kind regards
I've downloaded this ROM ... lenovo-forums.ru/files/file/1074-yoga-tablet-2-10-yt2-1050l_s100192_151119_row_los-50 ... and flashed this onto my tablet using the Intel flash tool and everything seems to be back up and running.
Can someone confirm that this is safe to do? Can I trust this ROM as it's not from an official source?
Thanks

Jiayu S3 bootloop problem

Hi i have a Jiayu S3 which for the second time breaks up firstly from my official rom crashed unknown why and my brother managed to relive it installing twrp recovery and xtreme rom. Now againb crashed and enter in a bootloop while surfing on the net. I have to mention that i have [email protected] up my devive some time ago and cannot connencted via usb (pc or usb stick) things that used to do very often. Know i manage to get ito recovery install miui 9 rom(from need rom) but reboot continiously....get back to xtreme (from need rom again) and reboot continously...tried miui 7 rom boot loop again. So i stuck to boot loop!!! i can not use SP flash tools because my PC refuses to intall the correct MTK, MEDIATEK MT66XX or any VCOM ,usb etc drivers (( . It only sees my device as a composite device. I can't use fastboot as long as i don't know how to do it and how i can connect my device to pc . Please help is there any way i can get out of bootloop via sd card from recovery mode?? I am exhausted reading and searching and watching tutorials....Thanks in advance.
PS i manage only 2 times to enter in a chinese mode(black screen) but i don't know how to proceed in that and what does this mode do.
Still no one to help??
Hi again,
No one is willing to help me with my issue ok . I ll ask something else. My pc recognizes my jiayu as composite device , my samsung gt-s6102 2.3.6 android as cdc device and only my huawei lua-01 as android phone lua-01. Could you please help me how to overcome this and procced to frash my jiayu because it didn't seem to get over bootloop while i was trying to install rom via twrp 3.0.2 when i try. Or if you know if there is a file i should delete in file manager so i can proceed over bootloop... thanks in advance.

Hi,
can you flash a ROM using SP-Flash Tools? With SPF you don't need the mobile to be switched on. Of course drivers for MTK must be installed properly before doing this. Maybe clearing cache and Dalvik could help as well.
