Can you guys post your battery life pictures here and explain what you guys are doing such as power saving or special tweaks to save battery life
People are having different battery life and I want everyone, including me, to get the most battery life out of this great phone.

Here's what i have. Stock rooted ROM. Debloated using Titanium. Greenify and DS Battery saver. Everything else stock. Screen brightness set at 50% GPS on all the time, Sync on all the time.

Hello people!
Well, I've been flashing i9505 roms, and I'm not satisfied with battery life in all of them...
Every time I flash, I do the mega wipe stuff.
All of them are giving me around 13hs battery life with 2hs screen on.
I'm syncing only whatsapp and Facebook.
No gaming, and just a regular use, like some phone calls and surfing Facebook, some messages....
Some kernels are making my battery life worse, so I'm keeping on stock kernel.
Every test I'm leaving 3 complete charge cycles.
On S3 I used to have a much better battery life.
Any hints?

Hey all just making this thread see if any of you lovely people have any great tips on battery life. I'm running on the stock rom right now and I feel like my battery should be much better than what I'm getting. I have juice defender pro and I still feel like my battery should be much better than it is. Any tips? PS. I am constantly on my phone but I don't play any games just simply browsing the net with the occasional lost in YouTube moments. Lol. Thanks in advance.

I've heard (on other phones) that juice defender is bad on battery. Battery life issues could be from so many things...
Yea I just feel like I used to get better battery life on stock rom. Just uninstalled juice defender will have to see it makes a difference tomorrow.

There is nothing better than Greenify... just greenify the apps ONCE and never look back...
I think LG G2 have impressive battery life w/o any scripts and mods. You can install Snapdragon BatteryGuru, it can save some juice.
I have found a few apps to manage auto-startup apps which really seems to help my battery life. Of coarse the screen is always the #1 battery eater so always turn it off after using your phone (don't wait for auto screen off) I catch my wife doing this... she uses her phone, puts it inside the protector and straight into her purse, the screen stays on for another 60 seconds after every use.
I have a Sprint Galaxy S5 running MOAR ROM and Ktoonsez kernel and I started using an app that tracks screen time and I've noticed I only get about 2-3 hours of screentime on a full charge.
To me, this seems pretty awful and other people using Ktoonsez report having excellent battery life but this doesn't seem to be any better than stock ROM/kernel. There's also nothing abnormal on the battery settings screen. Is my battery drain abnormal and is there anything else I can do to improve it?
Hey guys. So I've recently had a lot problems with my S7 edge. A lot of them I fixed.
My root was terrible until a couple weeks ago when it started to just overheat constantly and shut down. (Not the Occulus app either.) So I factory reset it to PE1 and followed the root guide on a clean startup this time and it's smooth as silk now.
However, I notice I still have issues with my battery...

While my phone is running very smooth, my battery is draining way too fast.
My phone will not doze, and I've dropped at least 20-30% over just leaving the phone alone for 14h. I have Force Doze enabled as well.
Judging by what people have been posting, their phones are in a deep deep sleep when it's off. Mine doesn't sleep at all.
I've got every configured in that guide except for Do Not Disturb as I don't use it.
Also not to mention, my Screen on Time is terrible. I can literally watch my battery drain, when on Chrome, a Game, or even listening to music. It's FASTER than it should be.

I noticed Google Services was draining a lot so I fixed some app permissions and it's still persisting.
Help would be greatly appreciated, as well as tips. If you need anymore info, please just ask, and I'll post screens of what you need.
It's because of the root.
It will most likely have that battery drain if it's rooted.

Yes, but the ENG boot makes the battery life terrible for everyone.
They might be using greenify or some other tool to do get the better life. But no matter what you always get a bad battery life with the current root method.

Well I'm using Greenify as well. Some of the guys in that forum are posting like stock like SOT which is why I'm so stumped...

I am rooted using stang5litre ROM and getting very good battery life. Most nights losing only .5 to .7% over 6 to 7 hours. Normally get a full day and a 1/2 per charge. I am not using special apps like Greenify or other apps to extend battery life. I do use titanium to freeze Verizon bloat.

Same. I'm using the same rom and no greenify either.
I've under clocked the SoC a little to help with throttling and it helped with battery a little but that's about it.
3h 40m SOT and 14hrs 48min since i pulled it off the charger. Still at 23%.
Not very heavy usage either.

Dude I'm in the same boat. I've tried every rom on this board with all the exposed battery saver apps. But still when non rooted the battery is amazing. As soon as I root I can literally type an email on my phone and watch 3% tick away. Like right now went from 30% to 27% fml lol

Update: I went back to stock universal rom no root and what a difference. Woke up around 9am and used my phone a full day, facebook, whatsapp, exchange and gmail, Went to bed around 1am with 33% charge left. With root I was charging my phone twice a day. My battery stats with root kernel were always showing 25-30% usage by the kernel
Hi all,
Im having a very strange battery related issue these days.
I charge my device to full and use normally, the battery drains veryyy fast. Its like 1-2% per min. When i sleep at night if the device is 80% charged on waking up i find it to be at 65-70%.On checking the battery stats i find no battery hogging app. The device is in deep sleep for the entire night,not even a single wake up. Another weird issue is that my battery stays at 1% for at least 40mins
what I tried?
* Have greenify and amplify module enbaled in xposed.
* Tried calliberating battery many times.
* Flashed kernel/borets kernel, none worked out.
How the issue arises?
* My device was 100% normal when i was on stock rom, no issues like this at all.Then i flashed montana rom.I noticed this issue within first day of usage. I thought it was due to rom so i flashed mnml rom.Same issue there. Then flashed leopard black,gecko premium,zenodex,cm12.1 and what not.but the issue remains same.
*I thought this is due to rom's so reverted to stock kitkat, now this issue is there too.Tried upgrading to l,no relief.
My current system:
android L stock.
rooted, xposed installed.
using greenify and amplify modules.
Guys, any help will be very useful for me.

Yeah we all know that zenfone's battery performance is just ****.
But we can slightly improve the battery performance by doing some tweaks. So use LSpeed app to improve the battery performance. Of has inbuilt govtuner . Now I'm getting between 3 - 4 hours SoT (screen on time). This is because of lspeed, just set the profile to battery and then you will get slightly improvement on battery performance.
