I hope this isn't a repost, but I have yet to see any post about the status of Google Play Store Nexus 9 Preorders and I figured it would be great to have a thread to consolidate this information when it becomes available.
I preordered a 32GB WiFi Nexus 9 in Black on Wednesday, and it still says shipping on November 3. I saw that Best Buy started to send out tracking information already so I was wondering if anyone has received tracking info for Play Store preorders yet.
The Play Store has an estimated ship date of 1-2 business days now, so hopefully that means everything will ship out smoothly and on time.
I'm hoping they have them in store so I can just swing by and get one on the way home from work tomorrow.

Yea, I'm almost tempted to cancel my preorder and do that... but I don't want to risk it.
Where do you check the status of Play Store orders? I can't seem to find it.....
If they haven't charged my card by the time Best Buy opens tomorrow I may have to go have a look!

look on your email receipt from google. click on the status and it will tell you all that info.
i pre ordered this nex on oct 20. shows shipping from warehouse on the 3rd also.
I called google and got told mine was being processed as they charged my credit card today. Said I should get a tracking number tomorrow most likely

i was just about to do that, but it seems best buy only has the black. I had preordered the white from play store. I will just wait.
Do you think the delay is due to Google being out on the west coast? Where do they normally ship their devices from?

I hope you aren't waiting for it to be sold in ATT stores tomorrow. If you want it you better use that e-mail link quick. According to Lionel Menchaca @ Dell, they don't have plans to release it in ATT stores at launch. What you are probably thinking is the public release. That just means without a pre-sale code you can buy the phone tomorrow on Dell.com.

two nights ago i dipped my htc magic into a lake for about 30 seconds, by the time i got it pulled out, the screen had white lines and gibberish on it. figuring it was totally dead I searched quickly and decided on the dell streak as my upgrade. I saw that dell would be releasing the presale the next day, but I opted to get mine from ebay (shipped from GB) as I can get one BNIB, unlocked and unbranded. shipped via fedex priority international, it should arrive at my doorstep monday morning/afternoon. On another note, after strapping my magic to an oscilatting room fan for 24 hours, its powered up and ALL features appear to be working! definatly a thumbs up for the magic's waterproofness
Well, I know there are a ton of threads announcing availability, but I just wanted to mention that Newegg has had stock of the 16 TFs and 32GB TFs for quite some time now. Since about 4:00PM today and seems like there's still more available.
Asus has been staying true to its claim of increased availability indeed.

I got an order in just now for the 32gb from Newegg but now I noticed when you search "tf101" it comes up as out of stock but then when you click on the actual product page it says in stock limited quantities.... I hope I dont get the sorry email too

I just checked bestbuy.com and looks like they still have 16 GB in stock. Which model did you purchase? I can't believe they are still selling this tablet on their website and not shipping your order? That is ridiculous!!!
I'd be careful with buying this from Newegg, as much as I love them you cannot return this, only exchange for the same if defective so make sure you want one!!!!

Not really. If you read there FAQ (or whatever they call it), you can still get your money back. You must request an RMA and if they don't have any of the product in stock, then they should ask you if you want to wait or get a refund. People have done this, check the huge sticky page.

i ordered the 16 GB model. i ordered it saturday around 2pm. when i type in the Best Buy order in the order status screen, it says my order is backordered.

Expansys USA promised on Monday through an online chat that my I9500 Black Mist will be shipped out today (Wed., May 1st).
I just had another chat with them as my order says "Awaiting Stock" and right now they are "Apologizing" saying that the will not have stock at least until early next week and even that is not confirmed because their procurement manager did not receive a tracking number through their supply chain yet.
Does anyone here placed an order with them? Did anyone get a shipment confirmation and tracking number?

This is weird. One hour after I expressed my disappointment of not having the shipment done today and only MAYBE next week - I got an email from Expansys that my phone has been shipped! with a FedEx tracking number (still show no details in the FedEx system, I guess it will take a day).
... I wish FedEx had those retired Concord airplanes for domestic routes in the US

AFAIK, best buy will not get them on the 3rd, it can take 3-5 days for them to receive their drop shipment from the supply warehouse. This was my experience when I was looking into getting the tab s on the day they were supposed to be released. It may not be the case with every item at best buy though.

I've got to do some calling around tomorrow. I've heard a few people say that they think Best Buy will have them in stock on Monday. One guy even said that his local Best Buy showed them already in stock but of course the sales guy would not sell him one early.

UPDATE: Some people are reporting that they're getting a "No Longer Available" notice when ordering, but that they're able to get an order though if they retry a few times. So far, shipping date seems to be listed as 11/19.
UPDATE #2: Scratch that. It's the estimated DELIVERY date that is showing as 11/19, not ship date. Even better. (Although it seems to have slid to 11/26 for some.)
UPDATE #3: It looks as if all four models are now showing Backordered, and it seems most people are getting the 11/26 date now, with some sliding to 12/2.
UPDATE #4: Looks to be sold out. Keep checking back though. We don't know how often Moto will replenish stock.
Motorola's has been working better then google's so far, it's been about 5 minutes since i got my 64GB blue and they're still showing as available

Yeah, I went through the checkout process (part-way) to see if it were available, and didn't see it. It's possible that you can add it later though. I'm kind of hoping that's the case, and that they'll support Play Store purchases too.

Yeah, when do you get the notice? I just added a Blue 64 to my cart (as a test), and I'm able to input information. I don't want to go any further.

Got mine in. I had to change my billing to be the same as my shipping in my account so that it would come to me at work.
I tried checking out the 64gb white.. although i had same ordered from play store on 10/29.. i see that motorola is charging tax $52.50 and free shipping for same address/location that i used for play store purchase. Shipping is free too. Google charged $61.16 tax.
WTF.. i am really pissed at Google. Although the difference is not much but moto is handling things better than Google. No shipping dates... more tax.. and shipping charges as well.
