I have the D802 16gig model and yesterday it was stuck in fastboot mode. So i have followed the unbrick guide to flash the d802 laf and recovery image. After flashing my phone does not work properly, the phone reboots every 10 seconds and the touch screen acts weird, if you touch one spot it register on the other, also the phone has no wifi and no signal. I have tried to flash different tot files through lg flash tool none of them works I have tried all 3 of the tot files but none of them seem to fix the problem, whenever I go into the download mode it shows firmware update straight away and I cannot enter recovery mode either only the hard reset option is available. So is this caused by wrong laf or recovery img and is it fixable
Hello guys, i got a big problem with my lg g2.
When I turn it on, it gets stuck at the Lg Logo and nothing happens from there.
I tried going to download mode and flashing a stock rom but to no avail.
I tried this : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476
but when the phone actually restarts at the end of the process, it gets stuck at the logo again and the light keeps on flashing.
I also tried the TOT method to flash the mobile to stock rom but i always get "LAF retrieveGPT() failed"
Every time i switch the mobile on, it stays at the lg logo
Does anyone knows what i should do now?
Thanks in advance for any help given.
Have you try to hard reset after kdz flash?
Did the hard reset but when the phone starts, it gets stuck at the logo screen again.
I just tried to flash again with another TOT and it actually worked until the phone restarts by itself and gets stuck at the logo again.
That is, on the flash tool it shows that the phone is restarting to complete the installation but the phone just gets stuck at the logo and then after a few seconds the flash tool shows that the process has failed.
Any suggestions?
I'm having the exact same problem:
When I turn the phone on, it is stuck on the LG screen
I cannot enter recovery mode (holding power + volume down...)
I cannot enter download mode - it shows fastboot screen instead
I'm completely lost as what to do??? I think I've just wasted a phone
I can't do any of the fixes that I can find because I'm not able to enter download mode, the LGMobile Support Tool wont recognize my phone etc
Hello mate, there's an easy fix to be able to get download mode.
Download this and extract it in your local disk ( C:\boot )
((seems like i can't post links before 10 posts))
Go on google and download fastboot to your pc and find a laf.img for your phone varient
Then open cmd and type:
cd C:\boot
fastboot erase recovery
fastboot erase laf
fastboot flash laf laf.img
fastboot reboot
That will fix your download mode immediately.
But I do not know any further. Once you get access to download mode, try flashing the kdz or even TOT files and let me know if you are able to pass the logo screen.
Cheers

Sorry, I don't know what you're saying. If you can somehow direct me to the link that would be great! :good:
if you give me the name of another thread, I should be able to search for it
I finally found it lol.

Just follow the steps but you need to find the laf.img for your phone varient. The laf in the link is not for D802.

that worked! I'm now using the LGMobile support tool to try and reinstall the original firmware - I will let you know how it goes once that's complete
EDIT: It said that software install was complete, but I'm still stuck on the LG Boot screen
EDIT 2: just tried the steps from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476 - it now loads the LG boot screen, then and android guy (with hexagonal shape?) and blue bar underneath, and then back to the LG Boot screen
IM GOING CRAZY HERE!!! what am I supposed to do to fix this
Yeah, i'm stuck just like you.
Just sent it for repairs at a local shop because I also was going nuts over this.
If it becomes alright, I'll ask the guy to explain what he did and I'll write it here in a few days.
Patience my brother.

Thanks :good: I have already done this (as you can see above), however I cannot complete the last step which is flashing the new firmware. I'm still left with the LG logo after doing this
Any updates?
Well guys, its been a long time since I'm having this problem and I didn't find any solution.

Hello!
On my LG Leon 4G LTE H340n there is a problem with booting, it stuckts at LG booting logo. When I try to put it in download mode (volume up and connect usb) it displays security booting error and then black screen showing only.
So I can't get it into download mode, can't boot it, and I tried putting it in fastboot (with volume down and connect usb), but that fastboot mode doesn't really work it gives failed command not found on every command.
So how is it possible to reflash the stock recovery (to allow download mode) and then the ROM?
I already have the needed .img files (laf.img, recovery.img, etc..)
I read on other threads that it is possible to write those img files to the correct partition but you need to short testpoint. So how to do this on this phone?
Thanks in advance!
To me the time that I came out this error was installing a Custom Recovery and could not fix it I had to send it to sat and I made a change of motherboard do not know if there will be someone alla able to fix it but I think since you can not access the fastboot or the dowloads mode. Sorry for my English but this translated with google translator
I never need to enter into download mode in my lgms345 to flash a kdz file and all occurred fine!
Lg flash tool put the phone automatically into download mode but your phone need to. Stay connected to your PC
