I just bougt a Galaxy S5 G900F and have the follwing issues:
Every Time I leave a LTE cell and went back to HSDPA 3G the signal drops completely,
in my status bar was the "no parking" symbol (without the P inside of course) and I completely
lose my provider signal for some seconds. This also happens when I drop from 3G to EDGE...
Worst of all is the fact that my active phone calls where killed then too. Afer a few seconds
The signal returns and I have to recall.
Here are my specs:
Galaxy S5: Europe G900F
Provider: O2 (Telefonica)
ROM: Stock G900FXXU1ANG2
No provider branding.
No root, Knox Varranty void 0X0.
What have I tested before: I already changed my Sim card (same provider, same phone number) and I did a full-wipe.
Has anyone similar problems with connection loss? Has anyone already flashed an older or newer modem-file
and does anyone know if I flash a different Modem file, will I get a Knox Varranty void 0x1?
:crying:

- Check your network mode in the Settings > More networks > Mobile networks > Network mode?
- If that setting is correct, open the Dialer, enter *#0011# > Menu button > Back item > Menu > Key Input > Q0 > wait... > DEBUG SCREEN > NAS INFORMATION > MM REJECT CAUSE and show the screenshot?
Network Mode is LTE / WCDMA / GSM (Auto)

i have a rooted nexus 6p (h1512) (the international version) with a custom rom (pure nexus rom) and custom recovery...after rooting the device i foolishly tinkered around the hidden secret codes on my device..i downloaded an app called shortcut master (lite)....and searched for some hidden codes...i selected a code 3282 from the options....went into dataSettings, then into lte // edit///(i knew the msl code 000000) and tried to enable band 26...the reason i did that was because i was using an lte sim card and was not getting proper speeds...so i figured enabling a band may make a difference...besides i thought..i could always revert it back...as soon as i enabled band 26....the phone restarted and now i cant get the lte network (no bars)...i went back to the hidden menu to revert the settings but the settings there were exactly similar as before( band 26 was still disabled) ...i cant see any changes that my fooling around had done..and even though i cant get any bars with lte sim....the apn settings associated with the sim are still there..
and i also inserted other 3g sim cards in the phone ...they work perfectly okay...so i think it has something to do with lte bands....i have also flashed the stock factory image from google after this problem after wiping everything, but that didnt solve the problem....i then reflashed the radio too....but it didnt help...so then i went back to my custom rom
is there any way that i can reset the changes i may have made?
any help will be greatly appreciated..
these are the current lte settings on my phone( there is no difference compared to when lte sim was working)

is there any way to reset lte settings?
i think my messing around with these hidden codes has changed some underlying deep seated huawei modem firmware settings...
i just want to know if any of you guys know how to fix this problem? any help will be greatly appreciated.
Edit : All non lte sim cards work just fine..and yes, i inserted that lte sim in other phones and it works just fine, so the sim has no poblem..
EDIT 2: SOLVED...after much searching for solution, bet all my cards on efs partition restoration, was successfull...anyone having similar problems , pm me if u wanna know the commands for nexus 6p to erase efs and its restoration.
CHEERS!!!
Having the same issues on my wife's phone hopefully someone finds a fix.
Had the same issue, download netmonster from market and go into phone info, then turn off cellular radio then turn it back on. Worked for me
I ve bought s7 in Asia. And i didnt know that its a big problem that it is a verizion version. Now all the time when i travel and changing sim cards i need manualy to add Apn point to use internet and not all people who sell know this details. (Usually when u buy sim and insert it this settings are alrready inside u just have to send message or choose apn point)may be there is some custom rom which will help with it?and the most important problem which i didnt solved yet happened yesterday. In Thailand i ve bought new sim. And to activate 7 days internet need to send code starting from *9 or to check internet balance *900# . But it's not possible to do!!! Because whatever u will type starting from *9 u will get a message something like "forward calling type US number" so yesterday i spent 30 minutes trying to apply this internet. And nothing helped,I also look the code *72 or othet to switch it off. Not working. Im so disapointed with this verizion. I want to get rid of all this codes *9 and in other unlocked galaxy phones i could choose mobile network in settings(lte, gsm) or choose operator. Here it's happening automaticly.help me please, because i cant even use this normal code which starting from *9.. all the time this stupid message with call forwarding

Try flashing the 930U firmware to the phone. It will flash it to the US Unlocked version. If that doesn't help maybe just sell it and get the 930F international version.
All phones I have that are carrier specific you need to enter APN settings manually. APN settings aren't attached to the SIM card, especially if its a prepaid one. I normally get the APN settings online or from the store I bought the SIM card or I know there are a few apps out there with APN databases for countries/carriers
---------- Post added at 04:33 AM ---------- Previous post was at 04:30 AM ----------
You can choose what network to connect to but APN settings are needed for data only, not voice. Under settings > mobile networks > network mode > choose GSM > Manual > then at the bottom you can choose the network operator
hello guys,
I rooted my phone, and since the moment I rooted it. it put a dash on my sim card sign on the notification bar. although when I lock the mobile I see my network operator appear on lock screen.
the phone receives calls and doesn't make calls. and also one other thing I noticed is that I can't allow apps permissions from the message box that appears in app. I need to go into settings to enable them from settings.
help me on this
as u can see in the screenshot, it says Vodafone in lock screen and sim card slot is empty in notification bar, so it recieves calls, and doesn't make outbound calls or connect to data.

So no serious issues. Just OS has some problems. Try factory resetting it. Else download stock firmwsre and flash it. Dont downgrade if you are doing that. You will loose your baseband.
could you refer to the most trusted source on how to flash stock firmware please. I always try it and fail.
Hi, i'm kinda desperate but I'll try to be as clear as possible. So.
Recently I got an used galaxy s8(G950F), at the time I got It, i could get network, make calls and lte with no problems, so, I saw that the mobile was rooted and also I had really bad problems of battery, like I almost lost all my battery because of the usage of android system,( i think an app was bugged or something because my phone was really overheating when I was only using chrome and nothing more, and happened with every app I used), I didn't want the device rooted and with that problem of battery. So I tried to flash another room in order to try to fix it, and when I did, I couldn't get into network, I only get the "emergency calls only".again, In order to try to fix that, i flashed some same csc and pda firmware, then another firmware with only same baseband, (always with original firmware) and nothing seems to work. I really don't know what to do now, I pulled out the sim before factory reset, and put it after, turning off airplane and turning on, like any easy solution I could find I tried it.I'm out of ideas. One thing I saw is that the firmware I had before has pda and csc from a firmware from MXO but a baseband from ARO that ends in CR1. I couldn't find a firmware like that and also I want to know if I can fix it, really. I'll really appreciate any help. Thanks.
Some more things: if I do try to select a network at the select networks operators I get "error while searching for networks" ,the network I'm trying to connect is movistar, I'm from Argentina, I'll attach screenshots of the firmware I had before (the one that was working the mobile data) and now, also the imei didn't change or disappear so I don't think that's the problem.

EDIT: ok, i send the phone to a repair shop and turns out that the imei is blacklisted and has been changed.also the person who sold me the phone didn't mention anything about that, so when i restarted my phone it came back to the original imei. big oof for me. if any moderator sees this you can delete the post.
Hello, I have a Xioami MI9T, for a few days I started having problems with 4G, I am in WIFI and everything is fine, when I turn off the WIFI or leave the coverage and connect to 4G, it shows connected, but it does workn, no WhatsApp , Waze does not connect and if I enter to the Chrome it gives me different errors such as: ERR_TUNNEL_CONNECTION_FAILED, err_proxy_connection_failed, err_network_changed, ERR_CONNECTION_RESET, etc., then I put it in airplane mode and take it out and it connects well. Also being in 4G, the mobile disconnects and connects a lot times, when it connecta again the same problem happen, ERR_XX message and I have to put airplane mode and take it out. I am from Argentina I spoke with Movistar (ISP) and they say everything is ok.
The phone installed a last update, I can not say that this is the problem, because I do not remember when it started, now I have: MIUI Global 11.0.3 Stable | 11.0.3.0 (PFJEUXM). The phone model is M1903F10G.
Thanks a lot for your help.
