Isn't there a way to set Omniswitch as default Recents?
Also, the Last app switcher button made systemui crash once and the phone became unresponsive (had to turn it off holding the power button). Otherwise, very good rom!

So, i don't want to taint the main thread with my troubles.
D802 user here, austrian phone.
I'm trying to flash DU coming from PA and I do the following:
1 wipe all except for internal storage
2 flash 10a modem
3 Flash du 8.1
4 Flash gapps (optional)
5 Reboot to system.
Every time I try I get constant fc on systemui no matter what.
Any hints?

AFAIK that's correct. This rom needs a jb modem.

I have D802 16GB coming with stock 4.4.2 D80220d-Eur-XX, b/b M8974A-AAAANAZM-1.0.190084
1. Can I do NOT wipe internal storage and just copy DU firmware and GApps there after factory reset?
2. Do I really need to flash older JB baseband?
3. In a case- Yes, shall I do it after I install DU f/w, before reboot, after? (which custom recovery to use?)

I flashed the latest ROM, flashed LGD802_10B_EUR_RADIO.zip. Rotation Works but can't change the sound volume. Any fix for this?
Btw, also tried LGD802_10A-232_RADIO.zip, still not able to change the Volume. I'm from Portugal, my phone is the D802.
Please help
EDIT : Volume changer just doesn't work with Google Play, Apollo. Works fine with youtube

I'm using the last build, came from Vanir, did a full wipe. I cannot apply any wallpaper to the lock screen, neither from my gallery, nor from the theme manager. It's always a black screen. Any way to fix it?

I tried from Dirty Tweaks too. That's why I'm here asking as my last resource. I know how high are the probabilities to receive an stupid answer from a jerk.

Your right I'm a jerk because you can't search in dirty tweaks. It works just fine either look yourself, submit a bug report to jira or gtfo

With JB baseband on d803 the compass is broken. Any ideas?

I cant download the d802 version on the site. Keep getting 404. Are the download links down by any chance? No mirrors?

The downloads site has 8.1 listed, is it stable?
I am relatively new to XDA but nonetheless have looked for an answer quite a bit before posting here. The Dirty Unicorns website has an 8.1 build that was released on 10/20/2014, I was wondering if that's a stable version.

The above is still open for an answer nonetheless, I went ahead and installed 8.1 (Clean Flash) it is super stable, no issues, anywhere except two. Before I talk about the issues: I checked nearly every setting changed them but still no crashes, no problems.
The two issues:
1) The battery life has turned into being unbearably bad. When the phone is in sleep, it is great but once I start using at around 50% brightness with normal applications like Dolphin browser, Facebook and all, I can actually see the battery drop every few minutes.
2) The music volume is somehow broken. Anything I play, from the music player, or YouTube, the sound is high for the first few seconds and then becomes extremely low. I tried other music players also but still,no luck. I tried changing every setting related to "Volume" and "Buttons" but no fix at all!
Any suggestions for these two? I tried so many Roms but now nearly all my Android devices use Dirty Unicorns. I just do not want to uninstall this ROM, so please help

I did not flash a new "Radio" or anything, I just clean flashed DU 8.1, then the volume did not work. I went to DSP Manager and enabled the equalizer (acoustic, but I'm sure anything will work) and the volume control started working.

I have a bug in CM 12 by Antares
My microphone and the speakers aren´t working.
Also I can´t hear anybody when collegues are speaking with me.
Is there any fix or do we have to wait ?

Hi.
Yes I do several times to make it more accurate.
I have tried today something: I sticked my headset halfway in then I play music a little bit comes out the speakers one second more its gone.
I think my device can´t recognize when the headset ist plugged in or something.
I will make another clean and when it´s nothing changed then I might wait until the beta is over and the stable release and downgrade to CM11 if that works for the moment :|
But I really didn´t understand my collegue had done this with his Samsung Galaxy S3 and he doesn´t do clean and for him all is working
EDIT: I think it´s the bootloader I found this in a forum but how to fix this ?

[Q] Increase Volume for Earphone Galaxy S5

Hy,
i hope i´ll be doing all right now, posting my Question.
Many Months ago, i had found via Google a Thread, where is explained how to Increase the Volume
for my Earphone. There are two Probs now for me.
1. i cant find the Thread again.
2. I had tryed which is Explained, but everytime i have changed something , my Phone just Ends every Process and i had to Factoryreset and re-flash Firmware.
I am no Profi, only beginning to be a noob in such things. i just had rooted my Galaxy S3 before, and changed 1 File to make it Louder.
This is exactly what i want to do again, with my S5, because on Work it is my MP3 Player, for use with PC Speaker System. But that damn Volume is tooo low.
Every App that i could find in Playstore doesnt work.
If there is any functionaly Way to Increase the Volume, please Tell me.
If ist recommended to Flash a Custom-Rom, i would do that. Knox doesn´t interrest me. Have Knox 0x1 since first Rooting. ( Thats the effect for "i know how its going" ) .

The galaxy s3 neo is my second phone
The phone was rooted with resurrection remix rom and after an accidental falling I've changed the LCD display with frame
Then I unrooted the phone and I've installed a stock rom from sammobile
Tryied more stock roms
All the things gone well except rear camera, microphone and ear jack
Now first thing I've done it's changed two times the ear jack and it doesn't work at all
The music comes distorted and with low volume when I listen music from ear jack .
Tryied more earphones.
From speaker music comes at right volume
Is this depending from some bugs?
How can I fix the problems?
I've tryied all the resets I know
Changed roms
In the mean time I've bought rear camera on eBay and s microphone and I'm going to change them.
What else I could do?

I'm very sorry you're going through this, but your situation is interesting because something similar happened to me.
I also tried getting my S3 Neo on stock version from Samsung, yet I couldn't find the correct version so I had the problem with camera not working, and headphone jack.
I think you should try to find a correct version of the stock system, or flash another custom one, as I did.
I installed Lolipop by developer Rox, it is amazing, and stable. If you want I can send you the link.
I would generally suggest that you use Lolipop 5.1.1 cm12, since stock Samsung system is heavily bloated, and has lot's of security flaws, regarding your permission, etc.
I hope I was helpful, anyways, if you need that link just tell me.

Here is the link of the Rom, it is developed by Rox, who is an amazing developer, soon there will me 6.0 version for S3 Neo, it is currently being tested and developed, so hopefully we will see it soon.

Hi Nikola,
I've installed CM12 and Gapps as you told me, but the problems ( microphone and earjack sound distorted ) still exist.
In the mean time I solved the camera issue changing it with a new one.
Does anyone know if this kind of problems could depend from playservice app?
I've read around the web something about.

g950F S8 Call Volume Too Low

Hi guys. I have g950f android 9 ( first update i guess). I remember it used to be too high. The device rooted with magisk. I solved the all problems; netflix, s health bla bla. But i cant figure that and i cant find how i can fix. Please help me. This situation drives me crazy. have a good night.

Any custom kernels with sound control avaliable for your device..... Or install the new viper 2.7 mod and use it to control the sound with the master limiter hopefully that will help you
