Hey, I just bought a nice S18 smartwatch. The guts are the same as the LEMFO and ZGPAX models so I guess at least someone has tried this device. I quite like it - The display is nice and sharp and it's comfy to wear. However, I just CANNOT get this thing to connect to my LG G3. It pairs straight away but that's as far as I get. The box gives a username and password to a website that does supply apk downloads for all their products - except the s18. There is a download for a U8 device, which I gave a go but to no success.
Can anyone help? This fairly decent smartwatch is looking very likely to end up in a drawer next to my old nokias, digi cameras and earphone nests.
Just ordered this watch. I have an LG og pro. 7-10 days and I'll post how I make out.
I believe the Flylink S18 (ZGPAX S18) is a standalone phone. I don't believe it supports smartwatch (called Smart Bluetooth Sync by ZGPAX) functionality in terms of pairing with a phone to get notifications. The ZGPAX S12, S15, S28, MQ588, and S19 support Smart Bluetooth Sync.
That's the case. No sync. But calls are clear. Text are a pain but work. Guess next ill put some music on it.

I'm leaning towards purchasing a Sony Smart Watch today, but I would like to ask a few questions before I pull the trigger.
Is it possible to pair both a Sony Smart watch and Google Glasses to my Nexus 5? If possible, are there any drawbacks to having both devices active at the same time, other than duplicating functions?
My thought process is that by having the Sony Watch, it would allow me to screen alerts and messages visually on my arm. If I feel as though the message warrants a immediate response I would then activate GG to respond accordingly. Keep in mind that Google Glass only provides a audible beep of a incoming message..i.e text and emails. This would help me stretch the battery life on GG by not having to activate it each and every time I hear a beep. I travel a lot in my profession by car on a daily basis and this would really help if its possible.
Thanks in advance!!
Can't speak for SW, but was fine when connected to me pebble and gear
Use the SW2 and Glass same time with Z1, there's no problem.
Thanks guys...was holding off until I got confirmation from forum members.
I'm not sure what Bluetooth profile the watch and glass uses, but yesterday I connected my Bluetooth car stereo to my phone while glass was connected and I couldn't make calls on Glass as long as it was connected to the car. Paired it with a Bluetooth headset with the same results, knowing that they both fall under the Bluetooth headset profile. Unsurprisingly I couldn't operate both.
As you see my goal was to reproduce the same scenario as if I was connected via Bluetooth to both Glass and a smart watch. I appreciate your feedback, but could you specifically elaborate if you lost any functionality.
Brendo, you stated you had a Galaxy Gear. Were you able to choose which device you wanted to make or accept calls on without manually selecting the device in your Bluetooth settings? After you made a call say on your Galaxy Gear, did it kill the call functionality in your Glass and vice versa. I'm sold on the Sony SW because it uses Bluetooth LE to connect to phone for data only. Now that I'm leaning towards purchasing a Martian Passport, I just want to make sure before I go plump down $300.
I know I have many questions, and would love to be able to go to a store to demo one to get my answers, but I don't know of a store that have live units out for demo.
Again thanks.

Thanks guys...I settled on the Sony SW 2 and it works without a hitch. Now I can finally reserve battery life on my Glass by screening my messages.

Oh, I had mine connected to car at same time also
Phone call followed which ever device initiated the call (call out or pick up)
Hi I thought I would give a quick review of my gv18 smartwatch purchased for £28 from ebay uk seller so here goes.
The item arrived via Argos click and collect which I was very happy with as I don't drive and work 9-5 and hate receiving royal mail undelivered cards.
The watch is packed in a rather generic looking box with aplus watch printed on the box.
Inside I found the watch and a usb cable along with a User manually with a poorly translated english section so I decided to just charge and test the watch. A full charge took just over an hour. Startup was quick a few seconds really and then I was ready to go. I scanned the mediatek app from the qr code but it wouldn't install on my xperia z3 so downloaded and installed via playstore. Within seconds I was receiving all of my notifications. I could even play music through my watch from my phone using xperia z3s throw feature and was pleasantly surprised by the volume and quality of the watch speaker. If I turn off the throw feature I can control the phones audio via the watch through the phones speaker. I promptly tested the calling and was pleased to note that the caller could hear me very clearly as well as me hearing them albeit in a similar way to hands free on my phone but a lot clearer. Sadly I do not believe there is a way to link the watch directly to bluetooth headset which is a shame as this was my main hope for this watch with the expandable memory. Battery life is good at about 2-3 days limited use with backlight on medium. Regarding the phones other features I can say the pedometer works although I'm unsure of the accuracy, texting even with the keyboard options is pretty much pointless due to the size of the keyboard and poor autocorrect word options. Along with this I have noticed that from time to time my bluetotth disconnects and when on a non silent profile rings continuously and on silent the has a verry week vibration. That said though for a nice looking comfortable watch with easily replaceable bands ( about £6 on ebay for 24mm straight end strap, however you will lose nfc) that is a great handsfree device and receives all notifications and for £28 this watch is deffinately worth the money but I'm thinking of looking at the k8 or s8 now for gps and hope of bluetooth headset when free of phone. UPDATE I have now established that you use bluetooth dialler app to use bluetooth headset however with one headset I use connection strength is almost non existent as unless the phone is touching the headset it disconnects and now with my boudoir earphones I get a connection but with wrist at waist I get drop outs both headsets have good range when paired with my phone.
Looks like someone stole my review lolhttp://mobilevsandroid.blogspot.co.uk/2015/08/gv18-quick-review.html?m=1
How long is the strap that comes with it?
I just ordered one, since I use a waterproof zip bag for my phone when hiking.
If you still need to know I will measure at some point.
I got the watch, but theres no screw on the back of the gv18 case.
I can see a small circle in the plastic, but not cutout.
in softweare the build time is 24-7-2015. Managed to connect phone and a bt headset to play music. But will probably not use that option all that much.
Mine didn't have the screw either I'm wondering if bluetooth connection is a bit ropey due to changing to metal strap.
well, I tested the bluetooth quicly with sonyericsson mw600 headset. I tried dialing with the mw600 inside the jacket and it seemed to work. Just a quick test over lets say 1m distance.
I am thinking of putting some cling film on it or something else for water\moisture protection when hiking.
GV18 or DZ09? which one is better? Which one do you prefer?
What about internet connection? when i have sim in watch, can i connect to internet using phone?
or when i have sim in phone, can i connect to internet using watches?
Couldn't get sim card working
I tried my phone's sim card in the watch, found AT&T's network configuration page, and attempted to get the watch connected. After many unsuccessful attempts, I gave up. Theoretically, the watch gives you a browser, facebook, and whatsapp apps if you're connected with sim card.
just bought it from amazon, will use it primarily to listen to music via bluetooth headphones while jogging. hopefully it works great for my purpose
Hello all !
I just received my DZ09 smartwatch but I can't pair it with my LG G3 phone.
I think I'm going crazy ! :silly:
My watch can see my phone, but my phone can't see my watch !
Sometime I can see a device called "Misc" in my phone... but I can't connect with it.
When I try to pair my watch to my phone, the watch says "Pairing..." for 10 secondes and then "Pairing failed".
I don't receive any notification on my LG G3.
I tried to pair my watch on my colleagues phones and it works (Samsung S5, and other phones...).
Am I the only one who can't get it work ?
Can someone help me please?
Thanks!
Flo

Try this app: com.mtk.btnotification
I have the same issue, where my phone (Nexus 4) cannot see my watch. My watch can see my phone, but the pairing fails.
From my computer (using a USB bluetooth adapter), I can pair with both the Nexus 4 and the DZ09, so I'm assuming that both of their bluetooth functionality is working.
Did either of you find a fix for this?
@dhruvdiatm, neither app (BTNotification or Mediatek Smartdevice) make a difference; it seems to be an issue with the bluetooth connectivity and not the specific apps that you use.
I also having same issue. But my other phone can.
The only one cannot search the smartwatch is Xiaomi Miui.
Anyone can help. Please.
This apk work for me in android 6.0: "Craig Smart Watch". (playstore apk, runners on photo)
Pros:
Bluetooth notify OK
Cons:
Pedometer Sync Fail.

I have had the Cosmos for a couple of months now.
I have had the Cosmos for a couple of months now and I am quite impressed with the quality of the build of this watch. I had problems at first with the watch disconnecting from the BT on my phone but after pairing the watch to my phone through the BT settings on my phone rather than the FunDo Wear and my phone asking if I wanted to make the watch a trusted BT device I have not had any pairing, connecting or syncing issues since. I have dumped the FunDo Wear app and tried a number of BT notification apps. The BT apps that have worked all where FunDo variations. I have ran the watch with out any BT notification apps at all but just by pairing to my phone with blue tooth alone. I was able to do things like stream music to the watch, make and receive phone calls and use the dialler on the watch all without any apps. The Cosmos hardware is capable of so much more than what can be done with the current FunDo variations. I can see this watch being able to do thing such as control my nest thermostat, control my Iluv led lights or even monitor my home security DVR if either android wear would support these watches or FunDo would step up their game and program a usable and stable sync app. As for the Cosmos watch itself, it is an impressive watch both in style and quality.

Thanks for your opinion
I also tried to connect the watch with old phone and it worked. but the phone had to find the watch first. anyway I agree with you when you say
that the Zeblaze Cosmo is good quality watch :good:
I'd like to buy a smartwatch, however all that meet my requirements (AMOLED, waterproof) are stand-alone versions, with SIM card slot. I've notice that most of these watches do not support full phone synchronization. I'd like my watch to have functionality like: phone camera trigger, answering phone calls, answering SMS or WhatsApp messages...
If some of you can advice me how can I achieve that by external software, or what kind of smartwatch should I buy to meet those requirements, it would be great.
None of them will be able to make or receive calls properly through Bluetooth if that is what you are asking.
There is a reason for this. Google owns the api that allows this kind of interaction with Android. They will never allow it to be used on these watches. To google, these watches go against everything they are working on with Android Wear. They also protest that it is a security issue.
So, long story short - if you want full Bluetooth interactive mode you will need a Wear watch.
Not one of these Bluetooth pairing watches you find on Aliexpress. They also are not allowed to use these api's and cannot make or receive calls over Bluetooth.
If you find one that really works (a lot of them claim to but don't) I'd be interested ?
You might look at the Ticwatch 2. Nice looking watch and is licensed by Google - kind of......

Thanks @pablo11, however I can't say that I'm happy with what I've just read So it is not possible to implement this functionality in ROM or with the App?
Samsung watches overspend my budget
I completely don't get it! A 10$ smartwatch (like DZ-09) can answer phone calls and push notification two-way, and 100$ can't?
