hi there, i was wondering if you can help me solve my problem. im new to the o2 xda mini s phone. i just got this phone and its been flashed to wm 6. it keeps on freezing when i try to log onto msn or move items frmo my pc to the wizard.
is there anyway to fix it or better of to downgrade to its proper version. please reply promptly. thanks TIA

one reason that you phone is freezing basically is that the wizards motherboard is not made to handle the wm6. its just like installing windows xp into a very old computer, the whole system lags down.
there is a way to downgrade it if you are interest. jst let me know.
I and a couple hundred or more people on here would probably beg to differ you on that opinion. I've been using windows mobile 6 on mine since just after it came out and I can't say as I've ever had a hardware related issue because of it. There have been a few software issues here and there, but they've always been fixed by someone on here.
I would guess that you may have an issue with an older version of WM6 and would probably be easily fixed with a newer version that you can find in the WM6 area of the wizard section. Before you go flashing anything though, do some reading in the stickies in the WM6 section to make sure you're flashing a new ROM correctly. There are 2 different versions of a wizard, a G3 and a G4 and each has it's own way of flashing. If you flash it incorrectly you could end up ruining your phone.
Hi all
Just a quick question. When you upgrade your Rom, and you go through the HardSPL procedure, does this change your devices MAC address/hardware code?
Reason I'm asking is that my GPS software uses that MAC address which you have to register on their website and they then issue you with a activation code. Problem is, after upgrading I can get the software to work on the phone, but it does not want to accept the same activation code as before.
Any ideas?

I got a little problem with my and my girlfriends L3 Optimus E400 .
I rooted my phone and the phone of my girlfriend, CWM on both, And installed CM9 on both too.
( Installed version: cm-9-20130224-NIGHTLY-e400 )
Everything runs smoothly.
But now I ran in the following problem.
Both got the same MAC Address. (before we had different one's).
Did I do something wrong?
Hope somebody can help me out, since its a bit hard to be online both with our phone's on the same Wifi at home.

since when I use 20110427 released blefish cm11 rom I didnt have a problem about wifi and updated to 20110516 wifi did not connected to modem or wifi network.. I searched forums and people havent this issue.. there is not any wifi issue.. why? please help me..
when I use only 2G mobile data, battery decrease from %80 to %25 very quick and all battery life raughly 2 or 4 hours..

I‘m a Chinese U8800 User.Last week when I installed Blefish 0516 update into my phone,I also found that phone cann't connect to my Wifi,which says "Wifi saved , WP2/WPA"(Something like that .sorry for the bad translation,because my mother language is Chinese,I didn't apply English as U8800 default language )，but when I installed the offical Huawei Roms(Android 2.2 & 2.3),the Wifi works.
After searching with no answer after 1-2 hours , I found that one pre-installed app "Ideos X5 Settings",after opened it,and I switched "Custom HW address"，and noticed that my Mac address was all filled by 0.
So I think this causes that wifi didn't work,which may caused by my unthought action when installed the partition.zip,and this finnally caused IMEI code was lost(Although I rescued my IMEI code after installing the offical Huawei Roms and flashing into my IMEI code using DFS tool)。When I found IMEI code,the Mac address is still lost.So you may write Mac address into your phone.
You can check wether your Mac addresss is lost first,if so you can filled with whatever numbers you want(But you must follow the style ).
I filled in Mac address with "01:66:55:78:22:58"，you can typed in your way.

thanks bro.. I will try, now I'm using 0427 wifi works great and and mad address like this 00.11.22.33.44.55 there is battery drain in 0516 may be next release if battery drain issue solve I will try again,, thanks for all information :good:
