If you recently purchased a spigen case for your Verizon note 4, I advise you cancel the order. On the Note 4, there are two mic holes by the charge port, one on each side. The Verizon model (I believe every carrier is slightly different, too) has a different alignment than the spigen cases on the market (So far the neo hybrid, and ultra hybrid from what I know. Probably all of there others). If you try to use one of them on the Verizon Note 4, one of the mic holes will be covered up and you will not be able to be heard in calls. Just a warning.

Yup... Same issue on my capsule case. Was forced to drill a hole in the TPU. Emailed Spigen and they wanted me to send a video and or Pic. They are obviously not reading Amazon reviews. I told get to GTFOH lol... I hope they rectify this and send me a new one. Glad I'm only out $11 and some aesthetics.

Totally almost got one of those cases! WOW, I'm glad I got the Versus Thor case.. it's kinda too smooth (fear of it slipping out of my hand, but nothing yet) - but it's a really nice case for $15 on amazon.
I ordered both the blue Thor and titanium Iron shield... They are both still MIA... No usps updates... But that's another story

I have the supcase unicorn beetle. There was actually a note with my case saying that even if the holes don't line up with the mics, there are channels built into the case to allow sound to get to the mics. So this case will fit any version without blocking any mics
Glad they invested in some R&D.... Spigen not so much. They rushed em all out the door.

Please let us know what they say, I'll prob just drill a hole that fit if they can't do anything about it.
I have the Caseology hard case and I can confirm it has both holes for the mics...Also its a pretty darn good case for $10. Fits perfect.
My spigen ultra hybrid and slim armor both have two holes for the mics on the bottom.
Have NEO Hybrid and both holes are there. Returning anyway due to the cutout for the heart rate sensor is too small.

I think you guys are confusing with the number of holes lol, to the alignment of the holes. One of the hole is not correctly placed for verion's note 4, so the case will block one of the mic.

I saw the black rubber case at T-Mobile and although I'm not usually fond of rubber cases, this case was a lot more sturdy and stiffer than a the traditional silicon cases. I'm considering it.
It's pretty beefy and houses the phone well. I particularly like how on the front (screen side) the edges come out to where if the phone ever were to drop face first, it would give some elevation to avoid the screen from making contact with the ground.
Has anyone seen any other cases out there for the phone? If so could you please post a link.

It should be fine. Same phone. The only thing I noticed about actual cases for the Galaxy S was that for the i9000's they have a whole on the upper left of the screen, where a button? or something is exposed. I guess it's a key or button for a function. What the heck is that? haha..

The international version of the Galaxy S has a front facing camera on the front of the screen towards the top and that's probably what the hole is for.

I would order that ebay one instead of the SG.
I had the SG and it wasn't worth the money. The problem with it is that the silicone isn't a perfect fit so the nexus 4 slides up and down a bit. The plastic piece that goes over the inner silicone cover occasionally comes undone a bit (it's hard to describe exactly) which leads to more sliding of the nexus. The plastic piece doesn't stay on as well as I'd hoped because the silicon is too soft to let it really clamp on well.
That ebay one is much cheaper and appears to be basically the same.
The case I have now and would really recommend is the mybatt. In addition to a back plastic clamp on piece, it also has a front screen side snap on piece so its inner silicon layer is sandwiched securely. I haven't had any sliding issues like I did with the Ballistic. Here's a review someone did on the mybatt: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2120148
It does come in a couple different colors. I have the all black one because I thought the white might get stained with dirt.

I read some reviews of it. It seems like people had a mix problem with the sensor cut out. Do you have any problems of your own or any cons you want to bring up?

I personally didn't have that problem. It seems to have mainly been on the first few versions of it that came out. People didn't mention that issue as much after it had been out for awhile. I just got mine about a month and it's been fine.

My case doesn't have this problem either so if anyone is interested in getting the Mybat Tuff Case & doesn't mind the bulk. I highly recommend it!:good:

I have the Ballistic case and it fits good. Mine doesnt slide around in the rubber part and Ive never had the plastic cover fall off.
I do wish Gumdrop made a N4 case though.

I just bought the note 3 for verizon from Amazon and I get it tomorrow. I have some questions. I did search and I didn't see these answered.
With the phone being bigger I thought about getting a wallet case for the note 3. Does anyone have any recommendations on one that maybe you use now? I want a wallet case with kickstand but those aren't made for some unknown crazy reason. A wallet case with a kickstand would be awesome. The idea is to replace my wallet to free up room in my pocket to fit this phone heh.
Do you recommend a screen protector for the note 3? The iphone 5 uses gorilla glass and you don't really need one.
I'm pretty nervous as my experience with android was with 2.x and it was very painful. I'm hoping 4.4 is a lot better. I am pretty excited about the larger display. It'll be nice to actually see things again and browse the web without having suffer whiplash because i'm leaning over so far to see what I'm reading.

Samsung phones have used gorilla glass for several years - but I'd still get a protector. I don't know if I'd bother with the glass ones - I bought a plastic clearview for mine. I also have a genuine leather wallet case with 3 x card pockets and a large cash pocket. Leaves room for the S-Pen socket and protects it all nicely.

I'd go for a tempered glass screen protector since plastic might hinder the Spen. Some popular brands are iloome and mime.

Get the Nillkin tempered glass screen protector. I bought my note3 frkm amazon without insuramce and warranty because it is the international version.

You have to look because they sell for $15 to $20 when on sale and they are good, they have 3 coils. I have three of these and use them for S3, S4, and Note 3 without problem.

the update depends on your country. Some are late. The quickest way is to download the firmware from samfirmware.com and flash using pc odin. It will not trip your "knocks" counter as it is an official firmware.

Well the latest version is N900VVRUBMJE which is the samething I have and it's 4.3. Oh well I guess kit kat isn't out for note 3 on verizon.

This Genuine Leather Case is what I bought. I got a screen protector from the same site.
Haven't had a single issue with the Momax Crystal Protector and S-Pen - certainly seems very responsive to touch. I tried the multitouch apps after I got the protector and found phone extremely responsive to all fingers on the screen so I doubt it's an issue. I got the plastic because I figured maybe the softer material would provide a bit more shatter protection on the off chance I dropped it. (& it was cheaper )
Note that my case DOESN'T fold but it wasn't a concern for me. They have This Case, Leather and Fold that might give you an idea of what to look for in the US - or get it shipped.

Ah well, Australia often slugs us extra for stuff. That looks like a useful wallet replacement but will be quite thick if you fill all the card slots. Mine gets to approx 2cm with 3 cards and cash in the main pocket. If I needed to carry more the one you're getting would be a definite option - I like cargo pockets so size isn't that big an issue for me.
I do like the fine leather of mine though - oozes quality.

I considered Spigen's Tough Armor. The "extreme impact" foam layers seem like they should provide additional protection against damage. But I didn't much care for their Tough Armor case for the Note 9 - the buttons aren't tactile enough. So I've decided to try an Armadillotek Vanguard.

Basically none, but I don't want it for that. I just want it so when I set the phone down I'm not worried about the camera getting scratched. The case is just thick enough to make the camera sit flush.
Also the case has built-in metal plates to work with magnetic car mounts and it still allows wireless charging to work.

I have the air and fusion as well. Using the air right now because it's a little slimmer than the fusion and the fit is pretty solid. My blue still shows through nicely but it does makes the color less bold if that makes sense. So far I like the fit and look of it though. Doesn't add much bulk to the device.
