Hey guys, I am planning on streaming apps to twitch. Would I be able to do that? I know i have to get a micro-usb to hdmi cable but what else would i need?

Perhaps this is a stupid question. I just wondering whether we can use the USB cable of our beloved HD2 machine to connect to TV so as to watching the movie stored in the machine....

there are tv's out, which are able to use usb sticks or hard drives and watch some movies..
there are also dvd players
so if your tv can handle a usb storage it is possible.
but directly from micro usb to hdmi will not work.
if you want s.t. like this, you need to buy a phone lige evo 4g, which has an hdmi output.

This won't happen. The USB port on this device is not physically capable of supporting this.

Just got my Nexus 10 and I tried to connect the Mirco-HDMI out to my LG 42LD420 tv.
However, screen is all black and nothing happens. When I connect to my new PC screen HDMI port the image is mirrored instantly and it just works...
So I guess theres some new standards in Micro-HDMI that my TV doesn't support?
Just wanna clear this problem by making sure its my tv. And btw, other devices works just fine on the tv HDMI port...

Whenever HDMI has problems it's usually HDCP that is the culprit.

I just ran into this the other day myself with a Samsung TV. I thought maybe it was the TV was only capable of 720p or something...
I'd get sound through from the N10, no picture though.
Also tried an MHL cable with my GNex and nothing as well.
Both devices work no problem on either of my PC monitors, and the PS3 has no problem with that cable/port on the TV.
Are there any workarounds?
My quick search indicates that it's possible that it can be cable specific? ie. Will work for some devices but not others? Does that even make sense?
As title states, can you use a USB monitor with the player? In particular, I was looking to purchase a USB only monitor from amazon and use it. If that works, I was wondering if you can use two at a time.

Hi! I got my new OP5 and I'm on the last version of FreedomOS.
I'd like to play some emulated games on my TV through HDMI cable in order to have the lowest lag possible.
I tried to put a USB - C / HDMI USB-A USB-C (charger) but it doesn't work...
Can you help me?

I don't know, I just want to be able to join the phone to my TV through cable connection.
It's my second OP since the 3T and at the time I didn't need that feature

Negative. I asked customer support. The only way to connect is wirelessly. 1+ doesn't have MHL support.

Is ther a way to get a hdmi in for the Shield? Like a USB Capture Card or so?
I would like to stream to Twitch because play and stream with my Laptop isn´t but but stream with the shield is fine.
