Hi,

Has anyone tried this on the ATT Variant? I understand it clearly says TMo and Verizion, but we know what often happens when you ASSUME they will work on something not listed..The model numbers are not all the same but it "should" be compatible with the TMobile version.

Well...if you have a "sprint" version of the s4, my understanding is that the Sim card is only for the 4g in america on CDMA LTE networks. There really isn't an international OS. And even if you managed to flash certain radios, I don't think, (correct me if I'm wrong), that u can use this phone over seas in europe

That not possible. This is a sprint variant you cant clean it and make it international. Unless you want aosp but still going to be sprint. Unlocking doesnt mean anything just unlocks the phone to use any international carrier. Thats it nothing more.

I dont have the phone right now with me, but what I saw is D801 or something.
Hello @Prufta
In case you still havent found out on your own by now, our models are basically a d803.
This means that we need to use stuff from the d803 and not d801 like the device info says.
Here's a reference thread for all d803 and Claro g2 users thanks to omegajester

I too am using a g2 from claro
Hi,
First time posting in the N4 forum.. Am currently a N2 user (custom roms etc) but looking to upgrade to a N4..
Have the possibility of buying one of two variants..the G or the U version from Hong Kong.
This will be used in Europe.. Malta to be more specific... I believe my carrier uses 900/2100 in 3g.
Will both models work fine? Or is one preferred?
And any preference for any one of the models?
Thanks..
910F is the best

Yeah i know... But am looking at 200 euro more for that variant..
Unless you can put firmware of the F variant on the G or U variant...

Would suggest you to take the G variant. Join the G team :good:

I know some of you guys just flash the "U" firmware, but I want to just buy the phone unlocked. For the ones that just bought the unlocked phone, instead of flashing the "U" firmware, did you notice any problems using the phone on the VZ network? Do updates actually roll out faster?
No problems at all. I had the U model when it first was released and kept alternating between vzw, tmo and U firmware. Everything worked per the appropriate firmware. Moreover,b it's cheaper on BH photo since they don't charge tax as well

The answer is NO. The Verizon version is CDMA only.
Nope, I flashed the unlocked version on the verizon model and after a week it started running like ****. Just spend an extra 100$ and buy the unlocked model on swappa and call it a day.
