So I'm wanting to flash the omni rom that is off of omni's official download site for my vs980. Whenever I try to flash a nightly it keeps looping at the LG screen. Any fix?
Vs980
Coming from unofficial CM11 builds
26A
Ive got the same issue. Ive tried flashing it a few times with the 11/12 nightly and I get a bootloop. Coming from cloudyg3, 24a, 2.8.1.0 TWRP
Omnirom boot issue; need to see what baseband / modem needed
You need to install baseband 12b ; do some checking around - i do not fully understand it ; CM, SlimKat and OmniRom need a JB based modem ( 12b ) and others use a kit kat based on ( 24A )

I have Omni on the phone at the moment - flashed the 12B ; then the ROM and gapps -
I have been bouncing back and forth to stock - go back to stock ; flash the 24A , then do a recovery from my stock nandroid

Hey guys,
i recently flashed euphoria os, but would like to know how i can revert to kitkat (such as slimkat for example).
I was on stock LP (kdz), flashed the bootstack and then euphoria.
What is the correct way to go back to kitkat, except flashing stock kk kdz.
thanks.
Hello. I want to try Bliss ROM, but I read that I need to get the latest bootstacks. No idea what that is. Found 30b and 30d versions. Also, I already have installed Dorimanx Kernel, which supports Kitkat only. Will that cause bootloops if I install Bliss (5.1.1), or does it automatically disappear when I wipe my device?
LG G2 d802,
Software version - Optimus G3 V1.4.1 + Dorimanx Kernel
Android Version 4.4.2
TWRP Version v2.7.0.0
Thanks in advance!
** Edit **
I thought people would respond quicker, and became impatient. So I decided to do it by myself.
Installed latest TWRP version, downloaded ROM + bootstack + Gapps, wiped everything, flashed the 3 zip files and it worked out.
Hi, im know this is a noob question. I searched forum and many pl have booting issues or even bricked one.
Please clarify
EDIT: Maybe MODERATOR could do some sticky thread about this and jumping beetween roms? It would be helpfull, thanks.
Phone: 802
ROM: now Stock based 5.0.2 SRKG 2 3-0.0, day before official CM 12.1 build x.1021
TWRP 2.8.6.1
I want to go back to install 4.4.x, MIUI or Cloudy 2.2. I downloaded D802 PATCH DROIDTH RETURN 4.4 as sugested by many of you - so i need only to go to TWRP, flash this, reboot to recovery, flash 4.4.x Cloudy and that's it? How to recognize on whitch bootloader I sit on?
Please help me, i don't recognize difference beetween KK and LP bootloader's, bootstacks etc.

I know. But because I am in kitkat I wanted to know if I need to flash official lollipop first
So I decided to flash CM14.1 from CM13.0 today.
Here what I'm doing:
from CM 13;
Full Wipe
Flash g2 bootstacks https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/development/boot-g2-hybrid-bootstacks-t3183219
Flash ROM http://www.kimcloud.kr/lg/LG G2/cm14.1/
Flash Gapps OpenGapps
Flash Kernel Lambda Infinito BETA 9 for the LG G2 (Nougat)
Wipe data and cache
Reboot to system & make other thing in setting (SDCard not working)
Reboot to TWRP
Flash POLYMORPH to make SDCard working
Reboot to System
Done.
I tried flashing TWRP 3.2.3.0 on my You Yureka which was running Stock cm11 KitKat. I searched a lot a after my phone got stuck in bootloop and apparently nobody knows the correct solution. So here is the correct solution.
Cm11 KitKat doesn't support the latest version of twrp. So you need to flash TWRP 2.8.6.0 (or any older version) on it using fast boot. Now TWRP should work. Now flash the Stock ROM using fastboot(I'm a new user so can't post link of it. Would be helpful if someone can.) Now, download the official cm12 update and UPGRADE from cm 11 to cm12 using this update from stock recovery. Now you can flash the latest version of TWRP and all custom ROM as other guides mention.
