have a Verizon S4 on the NC5 firmware and it's rooted. Actually 3 phones, 2 of 3 are rooted. Today they all got the software update but the one without root is the only one that updated. The other two phones that are rooted give an error in the middle of updating, and "unrooting" in SuperSU doesn't help either. Please help.

Hi, recently i purchase a Samsung Galaxy S5 G900F online, turn out to be Model SM-G900F but Build is G900V, so i went to upgrade to lollipop using Mobile ODIN Pro and now i'm stuck at the verizon warning startup. I know i been cheated but i really need the phone instead of go through all the refund process which take days or weeks. I been trying to put it back to where it could be functional but i failed. Please is there any solution can guide me through this nightmare. I really really need the phone to be working again. If is does not appear to have Lollipop then the older version is fine by me too. Please anyone~~~~~~
Hey guys, I have a problem with kingroot I downloaded the latest version of the app and tried to run it on my Samsung Galaxy s5 but it always says that root strategy not found but I did some research and the developers of the app say that it should work for all samsung galaxy s5 variants. Mine is Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900H. I am running on androind 4.4.2 Kitkat. Earlier this year I rooted my phone by going to my carrier but I just recently unrooted using the SuperSu method to update my phone (which did not work either). Please help me try to get kingroot to root my phone. Any help would be awesome thanks!

Yep, iirc, Lollipop locks the bootloader of the G900A, so if you're not rooted and are running Lollipop, you're stuck

I have been trying to root my Galaxy S5 At&t for the past month, to no avail. I have tried to use the towelroot method by downgrading from 5.1.1 to 4.4, but I am getting a Complete(Write) Failed message every time I try to downgrade, does this no longer worker for this phone? Other methods I have tried have not worked either, and i am beginning to wonder if this variant can even be rooted. Is this the case? I would be very grateful for a push in the right direction, as I have been searching the forum for anything that could help me.
There may be root methods that I do not know about, so there might be a possibility I haven't been looking in the right places. Thank you.
Hi guys,
I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 AT&T variant running Android 4.4.2. I am not in the US, and I do not have an AT&T sim so I cannot upgrade it to Android 5 Lollipop over the air.
I have searched all over the internet and also on this forum, and I'm very confused because I've read some conflicting reports on the upgrade path for this device.
Some articles mention I need to upgrade to android 4.4.4 before I can upgrade to android 5. Others do not.
My bootloader is not rooted, nor do I want to root it. I mention this because I have read in multiple places the rooting the G900A is a huge pain in the ass, and also that once you upgrade, Lollipop's bootloader cannot be rooted.
I have attached a screenshot of the baseband, kernel and build information. I would be eternally grateful if you could help me with this upgrade.
Mir.
