Exist freeware programs for translation languages like MOBILEARN MULTILANG?

HTC HD2 non-english EU countries with xT9

Hi guys!
I'm Polish and pretty pissed off. I run a stock rom, Eastern European version. To have it in my language, I had to install a semi-official mod by Sunnysoft. Still, there is no xT9 in Polish. I enquired about it in HTC Poland and theire was "There is no T9 in Polish for HTC HD2".
Could you please tell me, in what EU and possibly other european countries is the situation the same?

I don't know what is the situation in other countries, but in your case some one at HTC was just too lazy to help you.

I can't post external links so just remove gaps before ps. It works with the phone bought in UK so I'd assume that it is goiung to work on the one with Eastern European rom version as well.

to add polish to your xt9, install a registry editor and go to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Tegic/eT9
click AvailableLanguages and add 0115 to the end of the value like:
0109,010C,0107,0110,010A,0115
then go to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Tegic/eT9/LdbFiles
and add a new String value named 0115 with a value of PLlsUN_xt9.ldb
then go to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Tegic\eT9\Sip\Language KeyBoardIDMapping
and add a new String value named 0115 with a value of 0915
reboot your device...

Polish xT9 Cab
you can easily install a cab file and that will do the job for you. works like a charm on my HD2, really nice thing to have

whatch out on what version you install these.. because these cabs assume you have WWE with french, spanish, english, german and italian..
the manual way is more safe...
these cabs don't check the current registry values and add the language, but replaces all registry entries that are there or messes with the once you already had..
not everything can be solved with a simple registry cab.

do you have a cab-file for Russian XT9 as well? And perhaps a cab file allowing the normal HTC soft keyboard for cyrillic letters? It really would help me a lot!

I don't know where you get those from, but they are not for HD2, they work but they alter and add all kinds of registry entries that might cause problems, as well as unneeded images for a keyboard layout that does not excist in this phone..

You are right, they not made for HD2 so may mess up registry a bit. I found them on XDA ages ago and used them on my HTC daimond, in fact not all of them just polish one I have never had any issues with them either on diamond or on HD2 now.

[How To] Change XT9 dictionary

I have seen a lot asking how to change the XT9 dictionary to a language not listed. After having a hard time finding a solution myself i decided to write this guide.
If you are using a ROM with another language than the language you want your XT9 dictionary to be and that dictionary language isn't in the XT9 language menu, don't worry. All you need to do is adding a few things in the registry.
First go to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Tegic\eT9\
Open the key:
AvailableLanguages
In this you will see a Value like:
0109,010C,0107,0110,010A
These are the langues (you currently) can choose between. Add the language you want to use, ex. danish is 0106:
0106,0109,010C,0107,0110,010A
Here's a list of most of the dictionary codes (sorry i don't know all of them, if anyone got a complete list be free to reply with a link or the list and i'll add it):
• 0105 = Czech
• 0106 = Danish
• 0107 = German
• 0109 = English
• 010A = Spanish
• 010B = Finnish
• 010C = French
• 0110 = Italian
• 0113 = Dutch
• 0114 = Norwegian
• 0115 = Polish
• 0116 = Portuguese
• 011D = Swedish
• 010e = Hungarian
• 0118 = Romanian
• 0108 = Greek
Next go to:

You can directly edit words in eT9MyWords
This file you can find : \windows\ET9MyWords.exe on the phone
Make sure u can see all files
Clik on the file and you will see all words
You can edit and new words

3 simple steps:
First Step:
Using Total Commander go to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Tegic\eT9\
And open this key:
"AvailableLanguages"
These are the default Values:
0109,010C,0107,0110,010A
Add the language you want to use.
ie: Portuguese is 0116:
0116,0109,010C,0107,0110,010A
This is the list of most used dictionary codes:

This isn't a WP7 forum; everything here is WM 6.x or earlier (with very, very little content for WM5 and earlier).

I have been having a look at the registery keys for the XT9. Is there any reg keys that you can change to change the default setting from XT9 to ABC mode? I would like to enable ABC mode at that very start. I know it is a simple matter of clicking a button on the screen but hey!

Have you installed the apk ? If not, install it using apktool if command and then try decompiling and recompiling.

No, id didnt work I loaded both framework and fast.apk via "apktool if" command, but didnt work!
There is no dist folder, i.e. apk doesnot get recompiled at all!

I would recommend you to carefully watch your steps once again. For reference, use this guide.
And make sure your app paths are short like C:\YourApkHere .Avoid long app paths.

If you decompile and recompile and apk with no changes and it doesn't recompile chances are you are using the wrong framework to decompile the apk
you can try this framework (it is pacman htc cm10 framework) http://d-h.st/zAg
load it using the apktool command apktool if framework-res.apk
if that doesn't work then apktool is installed incorrectly or you are using the wrong version
I would use this version of apktool http://code.google.com/p/android-apktool/downloads/list

Thanks but, it didn't help! I've tried many apktool version and framework.
Even after modifying, there will be a lot of error logs. And, no dist folder.
It's ridiculous, while other apps recompile easily!

Nothing wrong with that log - The apk compiled correctly - It just says there are no default translations but it will compile and work
