3g battery drain
i'm currently on cm-11-20141008 and i'm experiencing a huge battery drain when there's low level 3g signal. With betterbatterystats i've seen that msm_hci_host is causing most of wakelocks and googling somewhere i learned that only for nexus 4 kernel there's a fix (http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-4/development/kernel-msmhsichost-wakelock-fix-wifi-t2102986)
Anyone had this problem? It's possible to do something for our device?

3g eats battery a lot especially when low on signal. You should switch to 2g, and I'm not sure about the fix, I don't think we use the same WiFi stuffs

thanks for ur reply. btw i think that wifi problem described in that post doesn't affect 3g wakelock problem. if i had understand well there's a bug in some kernel related to msm_hci_host wakelock. on what kernel is based our cm? Anyway i've found two patches in aurora code:

It's based on mako kernel and there's a bit of n1 too. BTW now ull have to wait cuz of the cm12, m11kkaa is making crazy changes for lp

With the latest nightlies I receive push notifications ONLY if I have the app open and not closed. Why?
This issue started from nightlies builded on 07 November and also with the latest build on 11 November.

FM has been updated and there are bugs. If u don't want bugs install a monthly

currently i'm on nightly 20141209 on my mi2 32gb, if i call somebody i don't hear anything and the other person also can't hear me.
Does someone else encounter this issue?
reboot did not help, i was on version 20141125 before where it worked normally.
I will downgrade now..

Current status: CM10.1 in the works and this version will not be updated.
Got started with the project in January, I'm now ready to present you my first custom ROM (and kernel) - BLECM9!
First of all - BACKUP! This is not stable for everyday use just yet.
It also includes my own kernel, based on the latest CAF source code (ics_chocolate). The kernel gets frequent updates from CAF and me. Kernel version is 3.0.8. It's not as stable in the beginning but a better choice in the long term.
It won't include Google Apps, you need to manually install gapps package, as any other CM rom is by default.
Prequisites
U8800 upgraded to 2.3
ClockworkMod Recovery v5.5.0.4, not tested in v5.0.2.7
Instructions for Installing
Download the latest version of BLECM9 (Downloads below).
Copy the package to your internal/external SD card.
Reboot to recovery.
Flash the update package.
Optional: Install Gapps package (Downloads below).
Reboot and wait. The first boot takes around 2 minutes.

Screen flickering (unstable backlight)

Yes, It's related to HW acceleration, causing some UI glitches.
Have been waiting for this for a long time, even if can't even use it because of Amtel TS.

OK, installed and running after 3 'loading' attempts.
No audio including incall audio as in most of the newer rom builds.
YouTube doesn't work.
Theme chooser is broken as well.
Haven't run into any other issues yet.

OK I am back
It didn't take a day ,reverted back to pa, since there is no audio whatsoever(as adizz4 reported)
bugs:-
1)WiFi takes a lot of time to switch on
2)WiFi hotspot shows error and doesn't switch on
3)I found the touch too slippery(it just slipped ,too smooth)
4)Lags a bit in settings (here and there.Not consistent)
5)The Ram bar in recent menu shows wrong stats(amount of ram that is consumed is shown more)
6)Keyboard animation is annoying(if u could switch that off)
7)The caller Screen takes some amount of time to revert as soon as I dismiss a call
Overall the rom is smooth and classy. A hell lot of features and surprisingly most of them work(if not all).The ROM is pretty feature rich and cool.Everything else worked for me.Again this may not be pretty accurate and maybe there are more bugs .As soon as the audio and WiFi is fixed this ROM can be released as there are no major bugs other than that.Thank you for contributing and making this cool ROM

EDIT:-1)Adizz4 was right,even theme manager is broken .Ended up in a boot loop

i changed tis but before this i removed bluetooth.apk of /system/app/ and puted another bluetooth.apk reboot and later bluetooth doesn't turn on. i tried to put the original apk but it doesn't works

Been using for three days now, works awesome on SKernel (RC3) and no battery drain issues so far ( I've only charged it twice in three days and it's still on 70%). My usage is mediocre, surfing videos on YouTube, using Whatsapp, less calling/sms, etc. Overall the rom is smooth (61-900mhz, smartassV2, noop) no problems yet. Though I don't know if this is a bug or app issue, when I try to change my profile pic on Whatsapp the image turns into super low quality one(blurred/pixelated) and I noticed that this is also happening on stock rom. It was not happening until a week ago or so, any suggestions?

Change mac address in /system/etc/firmware/wlan/volans/ WCN1314_qcom_cfg.ini
But first Mount system as rw then edit the file and reboot
Cm has a preloaded wifi mac address and its not rigth that both devices has the same address

Broken Caller ID - Rogers
With the latest update, I loose my ability of Caller ID. it said unknown number when receiving income calls. The last versions worked perfect.

No FM radio in CM, just deal with it, or go back to stock I don't remember quickmemo app, but I think apk can be pulled out from backup and installed on CM. If you really need this, I can try to look for this, because I've got cwm backup of stock rom.
Running latest CM11 beta 9.5 in my E610 and I'm experiencing strange freezes from time to time. Screen goes white and phone locks up, when booting the touchscreen doesn't work anymore.
Restoring system from a backup makes everything work again. What logs (and where are they) might help to figure out what's causing these lockups?

Everything is working great, no wifi bug or battery problem, no problem with any app so far, even from unknown source, phone is very fast and smooth, loving Android 5.0 so far.

After 3 days of use now the wifi battery bug show up, still the phone is very fast and the rom is amazing stable, wondering if the last build will have this "featured fixed" yes like some users suggest, is like if good rename android os to miscellaneous, keep the hard work guys, thanks for this great rom, i am reading how to build roms and everything that i can, so on future maybe i can give you some help with one rom, or maybe i can build my own, thank you again guys.

I think 17% is not WiFi bug. People are having more than 60-70%. I may be wrong.

But i have the same problem that the dial app stop working after end call

But try checking apn setting and remove proxy fields, if they are filled with anything

it's not an APN issue, I connected fine to them, got an IP, gateway, DNS, everything correctly, but the interface rmnet0 doesn't share data

Chrome Beta does not have this problem, try to clean the Chrome data
How to deal with this nfc thing? Drains too much battery! It is disabled and has been frozen from titanium backup but still thia issue persist
