Hi to all.
First of all I would like to say sorry to any user I may of offended I did not mean.
Now to a more positive note!
I don't know how many user have the RAZR I or who them users are!
So let get to know the users here and introduce ourselves to this forum!
I'm dj_mol3y_x8 and as you can possibly tell from my previous post I have had some bad times with android starting with a x8(sony ericsson) left on 2.1 so started my experience of custom roms and kernel of which im very grateful to xda and its dev's BIG THANKS.
And from the I started to mod themes. Then move to roms and now my x8 has s3 4.0.4 rom/mod by me and my team mate. So then I got a galaxy Ace (samsung)
And that got 1 update so again me and some other users rebuilt the stock gb os to the look of jb
And now I have my RAZR I and I very happy with it despite my moaning. Once again sorry for that. And from now on you will see a much more positive mol3y.
I hope we can get to know each other a build a good, happy, spam & troll free community which I'm sure will have some good development and developers
All the best

Welcome dude!
Well, I'm Vistaus. I started out with some stupid phones (including an old Motorola), then got a Motorola Razr V6 Maxx in 2007 which is still rocking here as a backup phone! Then I moved to a stupid LG Renoir smartphone in 2009, then to an Sony Ericsson Satio in 2010 and then moved to Android to an HTC Desire in 2010. That one broke after a few months and repair was taking too long so I moved to a Motorola Milestone XT720 by the end of 2010. That one I rocked until summer 2011 when I switched to an HP Pre 3 with webOS. But earlier this year there were firmware problems in The Netherlands making it impossible to call with it and with no updates left I switched back to my Motorola V6 Maxx and finally after summer this year I bought the newly released Motorola Razr i
I also have had a Motorola Xoom in 2011. Didn't like it so my parents use it now. I then bought an HP Touchpad in 2011 and am still rocking it, partly thanks to the community (love webOS!).
I also have had multiple custom ROMS from XDA on my XT720 back in the day and on the Xoom so I'm an experienced tester with it.
Am loving my Razr i and hopefully JB comes soon to our phone!

Well, I'll give this a go then. Hi guys, I'm paco.
I started with a bunch of crappy phones here in Brazil! Then in 2010 I moved to a xperia x10 mini that nearly drove myself crazy! I started to Get to know android a bit And started working with custom roms... After a year thrashing that phone, I moved on to a Motorola Milestone 2 (A953) And liked it for a while. Then at the middle of this year, that phone went to the shop and motorola never gave it back
After I gave up on motorola giving my phone back (and sueing them of course) I bought a xt860, that I hated since no custom rom can be fully done for it due to the locked bootloader. There are some really good devs for this phone now and slowly but surely something is coming together! Now I am anxiously waiting for my razr ia to arrive, So I Thought I could start to Get to know the community and offer myself as a tester!

Hello to all, from Brazil!
HTC Touch, Sony Ericsson C905, Nokia N8, HTC Titan, RAZR i.
Those are my last phones I can remember of. I used to be a Windows Phone fanboy until I bought this amazing android phone. I can do so much more than I used to with the Titan.
I hope this community gets really strong and also jelly bean comes quickly!

hi guys! My name is arthur and i'm alcoholic (of course no)
i'm from Belarus.
Just got my RAZR i, and i totally love it. My previous devices was: HTC Dream, HTC Legend, Samsung Omnia 7, iPhone 4s, Samsung Galaxy Nexus (this one the most amazing!!) and now RAZR i...
Don't know, sometimes I'm dreaming about HD MAXX because of its size and back (fully kevlar looks "strong" and perfect for me) maybe will switch to soon. Will see
And now i'm happy with razr i, i hope our community will grow!
We have to use our devices and feel ourselves happy ^^
Hi,
I'm Ed from the not so sunny UK!
This is my 3rd Android phone, previously having the HTC Hero (aka G2) and the Samsung Nexus S.
Really like the size, feel and battery life of the Razr i however I did take a bit of backwards step as my Nexus S had jelly bean so I'm looking forward to that update (soon hopefully)
Both previous phones were rooted and a loads of different ROMS tried etc however I have left the razr i rooted for now as can't see much advantage in rooting it yet.
Hi, I'm Miles from the UK. Live in Scotland but originally from the north of England.
This is my fifth Android phone (Motorola Milestone -> HTC Desire Z -> Motorola DEFY -> Motorola XT910 RAZR) and it's not yet in my sticky paws as I only ordered it yesterday.
I was really looking forward to the Nexus 4, but reading about the poor battery life and glass back, made me wonder if it was the right move. Then the launch failure made me think twice. Ironically it was looking at Nexus 4 benchmarks that drew me to the RAZR i, which seemed to have good performance and great battery life. The size was the clincher, as I find my RAZR XT910 just a little too big in the hand and the pocket, but the RAZRi has the same screen, in a smaller package.
Look forward to the Jelly Bean upgrade, but I'm not going to sweat, as ICS seems pretty good with Moto's minimal skin.
Hi guys , im Marco

I am a Flasher Compulsive with my Galaxy gio jajaa,i so i have some experience in the development of android,

Hi,
My name is Ivan, I'm from Slovenia. My previous phones are Motorola MPX200, Samsung Omnia 2, Motorola Defy and Motorola Defy+. Currently I own tablet Toshiba Thrive and Motorola Razr I. As you can see I'm a big fan of Motorola because it was always phone company with broad specter of product and you can really rely on its hardware and system. It has the most advantage development too. I'm not a developer though so unfortunately you can't expect any help regarding system issues from me. I'm more on applications side and I was always trying to get the most possible from every phone. I hope that I can be useful in this forum.
Motorola has been killing it with updates for the past year. As soon as a new version of Android would come out, Motorola would soon start rolling it out to its Moto X and even Moto G devices. It was incredibly quick, even beating out the Nexus 4 once. However, the new line of Motorola products has been announced and it has come with a lot of new features not available in the old.
Luckily, Motorola will be keeping to its awesome reputation and bringing a lot of the new software features to the old devices.

It’s no secret we love Android. That’s why every one of our Moto phones is built on a foundation of pure Android - it’s easier to use, delivers amazing performance and lets you choose how you want to use your phone. So we have more sweet Android news to share...
When a new version of Android is announced, one of the first questions on everyone's mind is "when will my device be getting updated?" Fortunately, Motorola has moved towards complete transparency and providing timely updates over the past couple of years, and with the announcement of Lollipop it is providing details on what Moto owners can expect in the coming weeks.
That the Moto X, G, and E are all getting Lollipop is probably a good sign. Here's what the Official Statement Reveals :
Once Android 5.0 L is officially released, we intend to bring this latest upgrade to many of our other Motorola devices, as well. This includes Moto X (1st and 2nd Gen), Moto G (1st and 2nd Gen), Moto G with 4G LTE, Moto E(yaay !! ), Droid Ultra, Droid Maxx and Droid Mini.
Motorola is fantastic.... it updates even a very much low end Phone i.e Moto E to Lollipop. Cheers Moto !!
Don't Forget to Press THANKS.... It never hurts to click THANKS !!
Happy to hear that. Thanks for the information. Now the question is when do we expect it?

I do not speak italian but as i translated using Google Translate this is what the operator told you:
Yes sir, Android and L 'was announced about a month ago and was informed of the Motorola phones that will receive it and his Moto and G' between these dates are not yet known release of 'aggionarmento presumably come out' in conjunction with the 'out of the nexus 6, the first nexus product from Motorola and the first Android phone to mount L
As i see there's no confirmation from them about the release, is just an assumption and must be took as that. He just says that maybe it comes out along with the launch of the Nexus 6, that's it.

It's really sad that stupid lenovo will phase out the Motorola brand. What do you think guys?
http://www.androidauthority.com/motorola-is-going-away-says-lenovo-666417/
why sell it google? you were supposed to save Moto not leave it in darkness
It's really shocking ,, although it wldnt have mattered more ,bcoz what's in a name after all but to my and others Moto Fans full disaapointement ,They have clearly said in their statement from 2016 there will not be low to mid devices by Moto , those will be replaced by Lenovo Vibe series ,.
Thats means We are the owners of pretty last G and E series . Lenovo Vibe will be with their crap Lenovo UI ,, yesterday had a chance to play with Lenonvo K3 note ,, what a crap that device is , hangs like anything,15 min use and device start getting warm, and Ui is plain ugly and totally jerking ass even its hardware on par with G . 15 min usage and I started hating that device . It's really foolish if those G and E series will be kiled for Lenovo Vibe ,,
Moto name will be used for premium X series and tht wld be not more than 2 years after that Moto will also go and only Lenonvo will left.
This is transitioning phase ,they want to make it clear that they will replace Moto by Lenovo ,so they taking small steps in that direction ..
So yes Moto is already gone in mid to low and ,for premium X ,2 years max, after seeing all this .
Lenovo u r [email protected]##[email protected]###
Lenovo higher-ups announced that their company, which has owned Motorola since 2014, will be phasing out the brand name.
This doesn’t mean that the Moto line is dead, however. Moto smartphones will still be in production in the coming years, complete with their familiar M-brand symbol. However, these devices will also have Lenovo’s branding and iconography.

Google bought Motorola with a strategy. With the acquisition, Google also got all the patents that Motorola had filed since the beginning. And when they sold Motorola to Lenovo, Google kept the patents and now they license them to Lenovo, and rest manufacturers. Google is smart and cunning

Its not as simple as that,,,There willnot be G and E series anymore ,, Moto will be used for X only "for the time being ". Lenovo earlier said they will handle their mobile division to Motorola ,, months later they are giving Motorola mobile division to their own.
This is corporate transition phase , it will take time but eventually it will be complete. Wait for 1 more year ,u will not see left Moto logo also

Well, look at the Nokia. It must be dead after the agreement with MS, but more and more news point that Nokia will recover, and produce their own trademark phones.
This might happen with Motorola.
Isn't it ironic?

All 2016 Moto phones will have fingerprint Scanner ,, and there will not be Moto phones less than 5 inch this year ,, Lenovo Vibe will be the new Affordable Moto-Leno phone ,,,Gudbye Moto E
On the fingerprint Scanner ,,,This Moto G 2014 is quite a good hardware when its launched but now its getting old ,, Android 6 update will bring much needed boost to performance that this device deserves (after testing what Android 6 did to my brother Moto X play, thats now more snappier) ,,, and it will extend its life till 2016 Moto products out, I think I will wait for 2nd gen Moto X Play ,(with improvements like fingerprint Scanner, already exixting stellar battery life ,good daylight camera,,and some improvements to all these features ), may be we all Moto G 2014 owners will have true upgrade option
Motorola is legacy and tradition
keeping Brand Motorola intact and combining lenovo mobile Division under Motorola Brand would be the better Option for Lenovo than killing Motorola
guys check that out
http://www.androidauthority.com/rep...be-dissolved-and-merged-with-motorola-637304/
Lol ,, what Lenovo doing , Lenovo Ui and Moto one will merge come 2017 ,, and that will be disaster ,,I for one ,will not want to see any thing other than stock gel launcher and its not about launcher ,its abut optimisation that Moto brings with it. This all be mess when Moto will try to merge Lenovo UI into it

why fu**** LENOVO
why google this is unfair
after Lenovo acquire Motorola Copyright

everything will lost for forever, this is totally bull****
at last say with me "I HATE LENOVO"

The older devices like MOTO G1 , MOTO G2 , MOTO E1 will soon lose support and development from the Motorola Devs . Then it is us who have to develop and update it to keep it up-to-date.
