I installed latest nightly on nexus 5 and HTC one. Neither seem to recognize my USB flash drive using otg cable. Both are stock omnirom no custom kernel.
Does omnirom officially support otg ? Or am I doing something wrong?

Quick question when I flash the latest cm10.l nightly on my n10, is there a radio/modem/baseband that i need to flash separately. I regularly flash a radio on my skyrocket with any custom rom. TIA!
The WiFi driver is built into the device through the proprietary files. The N10 is not a mobile network enabled device so it doesn't need a radio to be flashed

could we configure usb modem using ppp widget available in the play store? if possible then which are the supported modems ? how could we configure those settings ? am using nexus 7 wifi 16GB unlocked cwm touch recovery...please help in this concern.i'd found many threads in xda but all are not understandable as i'm a newbie to rooting and modding.........................expecting guidance and help
There are kernels out there which contain drivers and provide support for 3g modems (dongles). Timur's kernel is the first to mind.

Sorry if this thread already been posted before. Is there anyway or method to use usb modem on nexus 7 (wifi). Try ppp widget but they still havent update for 4.4 yet.

Nexus 10 and otg adapter does not work in kitkat. Before working in 4.2.2.
Mine works fine...

Not that it helps you but mine is working fine on my Nexus 10 with a flash drive and Nexus Media Importer. I had been using OTG Helper which stopped working with 4.3 and doesn't seem to be support so maybe its your app.
Kitkat also fixed whatever they broke for usb rs232 adapters which now work even better in 4.4.
I've used usbotg helper and stickmount and both work on 4.4 and 4.4.2

I just realised that Samsung have decided to leave out usb otg support. I have a handfull of devices that I'd like to use on my tab. Is there any way to have it via custom roms?

strange, my sm-t535 had otg support oob.
Really? I never tested mine while it was on 4.4, as I got my card reader after the update. The reader works fine with my LG g2 but not with my tab 4. My phone is still on 4.4 (too lazy to upgrade)
