Hi, I recently soft-bricked my s4 and I flash a brand new stock rom but it come with a new kernel and now, I can't use towelroot for my phone
Can I downgrade kernel ?
Can I root with the CF-auto root for the gt-i9505 ?
Can I flash a i9505 custom rom, like CM11 ?
My device infomation :
Android version : 4.4.2
Firmware : I9515XXUANI2 XEF
Kernel : 3.4.0-272274

Flash a custom recovery via ODIN and out SuperSU zip file on an sdcard, then boot the phone directly on recovery mode and flash the mentioned zip file.
You have now successfully rooted your phone.
Note that knox counter will be tripped with this method
What recovery work with my phone model ?
And, what's the supersu zip, I only have .tar.md5 file

The XXU1ANK4 for s5 g900 is 4.4.2 instead The XXU1ANK4 for note4 n910f is 4.4.4
Just flash The N910FXXU1ANK4 And you Can go

Week there isn't any special root. You just root it like a regular one. With CF Auto-root or first installing custom recovery and then installing root (SuperSU).

Just download the latest. Uncheck auto-reboot before flashing it with Odin.
Since you are rooted you could also use apps like Flashify or Rashr to flash the twrp.img file.
Please some one gimme link of twrp for my galaxy s4 docomo sc-04e model , i have rooted it on lollipop 5.0.1 by using odin via cf auto root but now i need custom recocery and i will be very glad if someone send me a link for twrp for this device and i appreciate it too if someone send me custom roms link
i am asking foh help cuz haven't fount custom recovery or custom rom for this model on xda site yet :laugh:
