It's a good news. I have a Ubuntu Edition and i flash the philz via fastboot flash, i flash cm12.1 with no problem no need to do your method to install cm12.
Is the proximity sensor works?
Because on cm12.1 not really :/

Reboot , Soft reboot everythig works fine but if you power off and then power on you will stuck at bootlogo for fixing it goto recovery - reboot- system (twrp). If you get no service goto Settings-Sim- SIM 1 change sim name to whatever you want then you will get Carrier name in quick settings

Hello !
I'm using gionee ctrl v5 & my mobile is soft bricked now ! I tried to flash stock rom using sp flash tool but no use ! Still stucks at bootloop & now i can access only to systrm recovery mode ! I tried to install twrp via adb side load nothing works ! Also tried installing via sd card in recovery mode nothing works ! Any help ! Thanks in advance !

Sim not working
Flashed flyme rom for s3 neo today but when sim is inserted it shows sim is not enabled in sim settings.
