L7 P700 bricked with first version of custom kernel... please help.

I have an p700 with cm10( last version ), cmw touch last version, crossbreeder and first version of custom kernel (without oc). Run perfectly until yesterday. I intended to flash new kernel (V4). Battery was at 9 percent full. Reboot in recovery mode and... shock ... black screen. My phone is dead. Nothing... no power, no joy....
Thank you for help...
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
did your charge it? did it boot? can you enter recovery or emergency?
and why did you flash with only 9%?!?

From my experience with p500 (optimus one) 9% battery it more then enough for flash an kernel ... but it seems that 9% was not for real (first version of custom kernel has problem with battery status). Anyway ... after I downloaded the new kernel (v4), from reboot menu (cm10) I gave the reboot recovery command ... "Rebooting now" ... and ... instead of recovery mode, the phone was powered off. So I never got to flash ... Now it's dead, does nothing ... No power (with or without battery and the power cord plugged in), no recovery mode, no emergency mode, no charging.
I used original charger (0,75 A), after that an Samsung charger (1 A), after that an Logitech charger (1.5A).
I tryed to charge with my laptop from USB 2.0 port and 3.0 port, and with my desktop computer ( USB 2.0, 3.0 )... All I've got is THE BIG NOTHING.
Thank you for replay...

Unfortunately, the only way to bring it to life is JTAG. I paid ~ 35Euro for JTAG-ing.
damn
damn i want cm10 too, bet im to scared with bootloader unlocking etc after reading posts...
Its happend to me too and i found a way to get out there
Tip: NEXT TIME DO NOT INSTALL ANY KERNEL!!!
This is the solution:
1. Download LG Optimus L7 USB Driver for Windows | Mac
Download official LG Optimus L7 stock firmware from this page. The file would be a .kdz file. Download the appropriate firmware according to your network provider and country.
3. Download KDZ updater and install it on your computer.
4.The zip file has a Microsoft XML parser, make sure you run it as an administrator and restart your PC. This will solve the wparam 100 and lparam 6 issue mentioned in a comment below.
5.The next step is to put your phone into emergency mode. To do this, remove the battery of your phone and re-insert it (don’t turn it on). Press and hold Volume Up button and Volume Down button. While you are pressing the two buttons, press the Power button. So now, you must be pressing all three buttons together. See this video
6.Your phone will boot into emergency mode and you should see a yellow screen with Emergency mode written on it.
7.Pick up the USB Cable and connect your phone to the computer via the USB Cable.
8.Run KDZ updater as Administrator.
9.Choose the following options in KDZ Updater: Type: 3GQCT Phone Mode: DIAG and KDZ file is the one you downloaded in step 3.
*image:
http://www.hackmyandroid.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/Root-LG-P350-LG-Update.png
10.Re-check with the image above and ensure that you have the appropriate settings on the KDZ updater.
11.Take a deep breath and click on “Launch Software Update” button.
12.This process is usually long. It take quite a long time for the firmware to be flashed on your phone.
13.If everything goes well, you will see “Finished” written in the log screen and your phone will change to switched off mode from Emergency mode.
14.The next time you turn it on, your phone will take a lot of time to reboot. Stay Cool! its normal.

It is not possible to run that file as an administrator. I tried on 3 different systems: Win 8x64, Win 7x64 and Win 7x32. I have a logo stucked but after few seconds it plays the sound and logo does it's animation then same static logo and then it stucks. Is there any solution besides j-taging? Does warranty service cover this as a defect and repair for free?
Thanks

Try hard reset :
1. When the phone is switched off, press and hold the Volume down key + Power key with your left hand.
2. When the LED on the bottom of the phone lights up, touch and hold the Menu key with your right hand. You need to do this immediately, before the screen displays the LG logo. Make sure your left hand is still holding the Volume down and Power keys.
Then release the power key at vibration time.
3. When the LG logo is displayed on the screen, continue to hold the keys for around 2 seconds, and then release all
them at the same time, before the LG logo disappears.
Leave your phone for at least a minute while the hard reset is carried out. You will then be able to switch your phone back on.
Caution: If you perform a hard reset, all user applications and user data will be deleted. This cannot be reversed.

Can't access recovery, stuck in Bootloop (SOLVED)

LS980 ZVD
I installed the SplitWindow maker mod from here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/development/mod-splitwindow-mod-maker-g2-stock-roms-t2818522) and and got hit with a bootloop. I tried to reboot to recovery but can't seem to get in. While plugged in the phone refuses to shut off, but when unplugged, I can get it to shut all the way down. From there, I press VolDwn+Power, wait for the LG logo, release, press VolDwn+Power again and hold. It vibrates twice after a few moments but then doesn't do anything. While holding the buttons it will actually continue the bootloop sequence until around 15-20 secs when the screen just cuts off (I assume this is completely shutting down). I can get into download mode right away but can't get into recovery. I've got the stuff for tot to stock set up and ready to go, but I'd hate to lose all of my pictures and backups and everything.
Any thoughts on how to fix this?
While in download mode does Windows recognize the phone? As long as internal storage is mounted in Windows, you can transfer the files to your PC before factory restoring w/ the *.tot file.

Don't know why, but I got it to drop into Recovery mode.
I held down just the power button for a long time (about 20-25 secs) through the entire power-on to shut down cycle. Even after it cut off, I still held down the power button until it started to reboot again. Once the LG logo displayed, then I held down VolDwn+Power until the screen went blank and the lg logo displayed again. At this point I released and pressed/held VolDwn+Power again and it finally brought me into Recovery.
I read on a reddit or google answer somewhere that you were supposed to hold the power until the lg logo quickly displays (less than a second), then switch to the VolDwn+Power method which didn't actually happen for me here, but inspired me to hold the power down longer than normal.

[Unbrick] Soft-Bricked LG L7 (P700/P705) to Stock Firmware

Hello guys. Obviously, this is my first post. I did soft-bricked my LG L7 phone 2 days ago. I foolishly flashed a wrong ROM that was meant for L5 devices and the result was, when it rebooted, showed a blue screen. I searched for a solution but I can't find a direct answer.
Be sure to remove your sim and sd card before doing the steps below, just to keep things in order.
1. Download LG Mobile Support Tool from official LG website, install and run it as administrator. Wait for a while, it might take a minute to show up.
2. Put your phone in emergency mode: remove battery, press and hold volume up (+), then plug into computer using your USB cable. You will see a yellow screen with "emergency mode!!" on it. Then, immediately put the battery back.
3. Click "Install USB driver" in the LG Support Tool after your device has been detected. It will auto download and install the United Mobile Driver. Ignore other zip files that will pop-up.
4. Click "Options" then "Upgrade Recovery". If all is right, it will analyze your phone. It will also download and install the stock firmware of your device. Have a glass of wine first and wait it to finish its operation then close afterwards. Your device should reboot.
5. Unplug USB cable. Remove battery and after a minute reinsert it. Turn your phone on. If you're stuck on LG logo then proceed to the next step.
6. Do a HARD RESET:
1.Power off your phone
2.Press together with left hand volume down + power button
3.When the led of the bottom of the phone lights on,touch and hold the menu key with your right hand
4.When phone vibrates release power button
5.Release all the keys of the phone before Lg logo disappears
6.Wait until the phone restartsYou can also search for youtube on how to exactly do a hard reset.
That's it!
Hey guys, i had a complete hard brick a couple of days ago...tried everything nothing worked, eventually had to change the motherboard and now the 2nd sim card doesn't work, please help i have an lg optimus l7 ii p715 dual running root stock JB

bricked lg g2 d802, stuck on lg logo, can't access download or recovery modes

Hi, i think i bricked my lg g2 d802. Long story short, the phone won't boot into recovery (stock, not custom recovery) or download mode. Even if i enter download mode, the phone would get stuck on the download mode with dots below it or something, basically it won't actually boot into download mode. The phone is stuck on the lg logo with the multicolor led flashing. All button combinations are working. Please please please do help me I'm really desperate to fix it since the last 3 days. Thanks.

Hi.
Download mode is when you press and hold the volume up key and plug the usb into a computer. Youll get a black screen with a box that says download. Nothing else will happen until you get the correct software.
If you can get it into the download mode, you will need the LG Flash tool, the LG drivers, the stock rom for your phone and about 15 minutes of your time.
LG Flash tool and LG Drivers from here ----> http://lgflashtool.com/
Stock Rom from here -----> http://storagecow.eu/index.php?dir=Xda%2FLG+G2%2FStock%2F
How to:
Install LG Drivers.
Extract the stock rom KDZ from zip file.
Run the flash tool and where it says "select KDZ file", browse to where you unzipped the stock rom you downloaded and select the file.
Hold down the volume up button on your phone and plug it into your computer by USB. Your phone will have a black screen and a blue box that says "Download". If it doesn't, you're not in download mode. Try again.
Once in download mode, Click "CSE Flash" in the flash tool
In the next window click "Start"
Now give it around 10 minutes to flash. You'll see the progress on the phone screen. Once done the phone will reboot and you'll be up and running again.
Hope this helps.

Hi, thanks for your reply. But i fixed it using srktool method by shorting the capacitors.
As i said , i could not boot into download mode. Lg flash tool works only when the phone can boot into download mode afaik. Luckily, i was able to boot into qhsusb_bulk mode and fix the phone using srktool. Now i can boot into download mode. Anyways, i fixed it. Thanks for your help

Make sure you find the proper ones. You need to remove the metal shield thing before shorting. It requires a lot of patience to short those caps properly. Once do you do it properly, the screen backlight should light up. Good luck
