I watched the video for the installation of the G906s rom. I would like to ask if it's ok to install from the internal download folder or does it have to be installed from the SD card? The phone is rooted and cvm installed. It's my first time so please excuse me if this is a dumb question.

Hi - Firstly thanks for the ROM, I somehow could not install the ROM due to MD5 check sum error however I got thru with the addon. THe problem I am seeing now is that I don't get the call merge option. I can only see Swap and not merge.
Any idea on how to get it resolved

I updated my S5 G906K (Korean) with a custom ROM... I don't think I updated the Modem, though... What implications does that have? Should I update it as well?

Just tried it but Odin gives me an Auth Error...
Do ROM and Modem files need to be in pairs? My ROM file is one before the current one, so maybe I'd have to update both?
Or are they completely seperate to each other and can be updated as such?

My harware buttons are disabled by default after updating the rom. Has anyone got this too? Any help? Thanks.
Does the MMS-data issue still present? I did my way to TW cuz of that, as my coworkers (old people) uses MMS a lot instead of WhatsApp. Anyone?!? Thanks!

My hardware buttons are not working as well. Any fix for this?
Clearly no one is even helping solve the issue regarding the hardware buttons, so I guess I need to leave this ROM. Having onscreen buttons is redundant when we have physical and capacitive touch buttons... Not too mention the loss of real estate. Fix this and I will come back to it.

I don't know why people say it doesn't work. I use twrp and you're supposed to do an advanced wipe for dalvik, cache, data, and SYSTEM!! Otherwise any new rom you flash will have problems... I was able to install it perfectly and I'm using it as a daily driver. Good job!

Sorry I'm over a year late, but you're supposed to do an advanced wipe in twrp when installing new roms. Wipe dalvik, cache, SYSTEM, and data.... Then flash it. I've tried the regular factory reset and the same happens to me, but advanced wipe is key...

Hello, I posted on the main thread too, but I guess it might belong here. I've loved custom Roms since My transform ultra, then, the S3, and now the S5 (G900P). I've flashed a few nougat Roms over the last few days. They all need a APN manually entered to get data. I used one I found online, and then the one from my backup. Both, worked for LTE, but very strangely, won't allow me to send text. I've tried different messaging apps, different APNS, wipes, but I still have an X over the bars when I turn data off. I can get text, and phone calls. I can even make calls, but no outgoing SMS. Weird right. Any ways, always appreciative to the DEV GODS. Thanks everything. I donate when I can.
Anyone know how I can make a shortcut to system profiles? There doesn't seem to be a quick tile in settings...

i nstalled the rev 1.3 of your Rom and really was very good but have problem with camera it doesn't record video and get black screen..then stop

Need help after Install
I just installed this rom (v1.5) and followed every step as in the instruction ... but after getting to the home screen I can't see the notification panel nor the wallpaper(it's in black) also the recent app drawer doesn't work .... what's wrong ?
Going back to CivZ's Flexkat rom. So much more stable. Will wait for future updates for this rom though.
5.0 russian rom so better .. 7 hours of screen time.

After flashing the kernel I get a yellowish color on my screen...
How can I fix it?
Installed ROM and kernel earlier.
So far so good, super stable, no fc and battery also seems good.
Maybe the best I've tried so far.
I've tried to install kernel version 1.3 and 1.4 and in both cases the installation is aborted. I'm using Philz touch recovery 6.0.4.7
After the process is aborted I can reinstall both stock and custom 1.1B with no problem at all.
I don't know what I am doing wrong.

Backup with Titanium to internal storage. Clear the data and cache, restore. This should fix the external card issue, assuming your sdcard is not corrupt then you would need to re-format it.

HI ALL, IM using this rom on my 910h variant of the note 4 with no issues so far, SD card works, 3 mint mod, works, volume boost works. The rom is fast and smooth, the only thing not working at the moment the 4 power menu. I hope this helps some of you.

Hello guys, my question is whether we need to update bootloader and modem in order to flash Masik Lollipop before actually moving to lollipop. In other words do i have to flash bootloader and modem while being in 4.4.4 stock or i can do it after flashing the rom itself? Ty in advance

I`m stuck on the Smasung Note 4 screen and nothing happens.
I diid clean install with full wipes of everything, but still no success.
Tried 4 times with different options....

I a new to this, because just ordered a Note 4 (N910C) which I will be receiving tomorrow, until now I did not know, that it was possible to get it Rooted ?
Looking forward to this, Rom especially according to his (better) battery-efficiency, luckily with a few mods which sounds very good to me, as in being a Noob and therefore no need for + no Bloatware !

I had the same issue but only when I tried to flash the masik rom from a Stok rom, so my solution was install first any other lollipop custom rom and after a successful boot, back to recovery and install the Masik rom

Anyone have an issue with the camera? when I try to record a video the quality its great but without sound and if I try to record a voice memo it is fine, the audio is good.

just had a query to ask does this rom also has two builds of rom one for screen lock bug users & one for normal users like the other lp 5.1 roms or everything is packed in a single rom build....& is everything working well like the camera & other things ..as i am currently using mukulsoni cm12.1 for screen lock bug users it has certain limitations when compared to normal users without screen lock bug...hope you rectify all those bugs in the coming days.. if you want testers for this rom i will feel happy to help you as i am using screen lock bug variant of grand 2 ....feeling gr8 to have you back in the developers section of our grand 2 forum

@aapav01 Sir, I hope you have a separate version (like mukulsoni did with his ROM) for those who have devices with lockscreen bug. I installed your ROM and I'm now currently experiencing it.
Lockscreen Bug: When I lock my screen and try to unlock it, the screen stays black. You can here sounds but there is no display.

On Lollipop why is the Internal ROM only 5Gb when it should be 8Gb? It happens for CM12 and CM12.1
