[L7] Google Play Store Force Closing.

Just recently wiped my phone, cache and dalvik cache, installed the latest CyanogenMOD 10 Nightly, Seeder, Gandalf Kernel and the V10K Baseband patch on my phone along with the 4.1.2 Gapps and for some reason I am unable to access the Google Play Store, giving the message "Unfortunately, Google Play Store has stopped." Sorry I can't go into further detail but that's about all I know, I tried restoring to the last Nightly I was using that worked with the Play Store, but as far as I can tell, it's still hosed, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe you did it wrongly.Boot into recovery mode..wipe data/cache/dalvik..
1)flash cm10 latest rom..
2)flash 4.1.2(!) Gapps
3)flash v10 baseband..
Reboot..
(This worked for me)

When you finish this,wait for your phone to boot,and set it up.After that,you go again into recovery and:
1)Flash Gantalf kernel
2)Wipe cache/dalvik

I had the same problem, only google play didnt work. I just downloaded google play.apk from internet and installed it on the phone. Thats it

[Q] Problem flashing GAPPS with Lollipop ROMS

Hi
I am having problems flashing the GAPPS zips with various recent Lollipop ROMS. I have now tried at least 3 ROMS and get the same issue with all. I am using TWRP to flash the files.
If I flash the ROM only without flashing GAPPS, I can boot into the phone without issue. However, as soon as I have flashed the GAPPS package and boot the phone, I started getting loads of errors eg 'Unfortunately, Google Services has stopped' and i keep getting these messages to the effect that i cant use the phone.
Am I doing something wrong? I assume it cant be the ROMS as I have the issue with more than 2 different ROMS.

I've already tried 2 or 3 different ones.
If i dont flash the GAPPS at all whats the alternative? Do I have to download playstore and do it all manually? If so, is the advantage of installing the GAPPS packages simply that i dont have to do it all manually?

I flashed this rom and got the issue although it doesnt require separate GAPPS as it is a GPE ROm - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2557353

[Q] Google play error/ Official CM12.1

I keep getting : Google Play services has stopped, after installing official CM12.1 nightly for vs980. Did a wipe of cache,system,data, dalvic. Flashed xdabbebs 12b bootstack. Reboot into recovery. Installed 20150609-nightly-vs980, gapps-5.1.x-minimal-edition-signed.zip. Reboot system. I have been running AICP 9.0. I haved tried going to apps after booting up and clearing cache for Google play services,no help. Also tried gapps-5.1-2015-06-02-15-19.zip from wiki.cyanogenmod.org (arm vers.). Any thing I am doing wrong?

Phone restarting after installing Certain apps

I recently flashed my ROM to Resurrection remix named RR-N-v5.8.5-20170925-a6000-Final and installed gapps named open_gapps-arm-6.0-stock-20171022 then I installed some apps from play store. SOme apps like Backdrops after installation makes my phone to restart and whet it boots up it shows "google has stopped responding " also "process system is not responding" and then is restarts again. I tried reflashing several times but nothing seems to work.

1. Wipe Art/cache system, data, internal
2. Install HEX Firmware
3. Install 5.8.5 RR
4. Install arm 7.1 pico gapps
5. wipe cache and reboot.
Rom take some time to Battery Collaboration and Performance.

How can I install the firmware?

The link of hex firmware is in RR thread. And you flashed marshmallow gapps on a nougat rom. Flash arm 7.1 gapps.

Still the same problem

I think the problem is with new playstore every time I download certain apps it crashes.

First, I would like you to know that you DID NOT follow the instructions correctly. INSTRUCTIONS said, you will flash Opengapps 7.1.X ARM not 6.0 Marshmallow. Links were already given but still you did not follow.
Download the correct gapps package - ARM > 7.1 > Pico.

Dirty flash it but if there's still an issue, you can clean install your RR 5.8.5 Final again and flash the gapps 7.1.

Gcam keeps stopping

I flashed lineageOS with gapps earlier today and camera keeps stopping, everything else is working fine, already cleared cache and data

You need to enable Camera API either directly via build.prop or using Magisk module (Lineage doesn't have it enabled by default)

I already got camera2api enabler module but it still crashes

Try nano gapps package or smaller if you haven't already.

My was also force closing, then I flashed Full version of OpenGApps and everything is fine now.
