Is strange but a good option would be install a new modem with Odin, then install a custom recovery and change your stock ROM

Use greenify and turn off b/g data too.
Plug it in overnight. It will actually reverse battery drain.

I've plugged in my every phone I've owned nightly. I've never had a battery issue.

Keeping it plugged in does not affect the battery life. It has some minor battery degradation but not enough to worry about or even worth mentioning. The natural half-life of lithium polimer battery found in our Nexus 4 will end sooner than any degradation you will experience by keeping it charging overnight. By that time you'll want to replace it.

[Q] Android System Battery Draining Problem ...

i'm experiencing Android System excessive os battery drain on my GT-I9500 under Omega v14.1, it's eating up all my juice from two days ago, even my display isn't over 10%, Android System is taking 58% and sometimes more than that.
Please can somebody help with this serious problem ?
PS: my phone is new, and my battery isn't swollen ...
Install BetterBatteryStats which can be found here on xda, fully charge and then fully discharge your mobile using it as you normally would, then look at Kernel wakelocks to see if there are any processes draining your battery.

My Google Play is 32% and i have hardly used my phone.

Battery Life lately....?

I noticed about 3ish weeks ago that my battery was depleting at a faster rate than before on my GoldenEye 4.2.2 ROM
Here's where it gets strange...
Regardless of my screentime I think that my battery depletes the same...right now I have had 56min on screen time and my battery is 48%
I tested how much time I could get out of my phone, and I can go from 100% to 0% with about 4ish hours of screen time....
I seriously feel that I'm getting more efficient usage by having my screen ON rather than off...
Here's my stats right now
Screen: 37% 56 minutes
Cell Standby 25%
Media Server 15%
Device Idle 7%
Skype 5%
Android OS 4%
Android System 2%
Seriously, whats going on? why is my battery being depleted so much with so little screentime???????
It's something Google did with the new update of Google services. No one knows exactly what it is tho.
