Hi all, I am not very good at searching these boards.
I have the SPH-L720T rooted, NC6 build (I think)
it keeps telling me I have an update to apply, you can try and install through reboot it will fail (which I am thinking is normal for rooted phone) and that's fine with me. I found this phone more tricky to root than my previous s2. But it is running well and I am fine just leaving it as it.
Can you please tell me or link me to how I turn off OTA notifications and such?

I have a bell i337m galaxy s4. I installed a google edition rom. Now I need to sell my S4 so i need to go back to stock touchwiz. I can't find anything.I don't know what is wrong with my root either. Superuser is on here. When I go to an app that needs root. It says I'm not rooted. Then superuser pops up a notification saying i need to update binary. When I press install I get an error. I rooted like 7 times today. StilI i get the same error. Should I use i337m root or GT-I9505g toot. Before Google edition my model number was i337m now its GT-I9505G. I need the touchwiz rom. Please reply as soon as possible! Your help would be greatly appreciated!
Please post all links. And it would be nice if you could tell me how to do stuff. I'm pretty dumb at technology (yet I try. then i screw up like this).
I recently restored stock rom on my Samsung galaxy s4 GT-i9505 from cm11. After that, the wifi just will not turn on at all. I will get a notice when i try to turn it on. I cannot upload a screenshot of the notice i get, it says "Security notice Your device's security has blocked an action that is not permitted. No further action is required."
Please help me solve this issue if it is possible. I really hope i have not screwed up my phone :crying: Any form of help will be greatly appreciated.
Edit: I got it to work already. i guess i flashed the wrong rom on my phone. i would like to thank @samersh72 's guide and link to stock roms that helped me solve my problem
Would love to know what firmware you used, no matter what I do it does not work, have flashed multiple roms.
I removed knox and it took some of the wifi with it on I9505XXUFNB9, I can reconnect to wireless networks but the passwords wont hold. On newer roms it just doesnt work even without a rooted kernel.

Hi everyone, so I finally have my 32gb i337 rooted and with safestrap 3.72 beta. I need help in finding the best most stable NB1 and safestrap beta safe rom to install that can give me two most important tmobile features witch are wifi calling and mobile hotspot. I did not have any luck with the guy who helped me with it remotely, he was very pushy, impatient and inconsistent when communicating. We tried installing shostock and gravitan rom but they appeared to not wanna install. As of now I learned how to use the safestrap alone and will no longer need his assistance anymore (thank God, guy had me stressed with his tone of voice) so all I need is a good compatible rom with my system and I should be good to go. I find it strange tho that the first attempts of installing didn't do anything. Could something had blocked the install? After Some Close observation I noticed that after the attempted flashing the Samsung logo would be circling slow and in one attempt at flashing there was just a boot loop. The guy was not a help at all cause as i said earlier he just seemed like a miserable person who lives his life agitated. Add of now I have root and the stock backup is working flawlessly, as always help from you masters is greatly appreciated.

I did search before posting this, but couldn't find quite the question/answer I was looking for. I've got a rooted S4 SPH-L720.
I've got a custom ROM installed, Sacs 4.3, and the phone has been fine. I just got the system update downloaded and the button to install it. I've got TWRP as my recovery right now.
Last time I had one of these I just turned off notifications, but wasn't sure if this is an important update, or what it even updates? Is it only for phones running Stock?

I have recently roted the set by stump method and have successfully replaced the file of hotspot to let it work on my phone.
Currently i am on 4.4.2 kitkat build: KOT49I.VS98027A
I have twrp installed on my device
After replacing this mod for hotspot my phone get restarts frequently and i am receiving to force close errors (unfortunately location stopped and unfortunately video call has stopped).
Please inform me any remedy for these two issues and guide me how to install lollipop and have all features including hotspot and gps working and with root access.
Sorry for the bad english. I have searched out the forums and have seen several posts for installing roms but i am confused as i dont know what boot stack i am currently on and what should be the steps to be followed in order to successfully install lollipop.
