if you've got amazon prime, you'll get free shipping for these. tech armor HD screen protectors..3 pack. usually 7 bucks, but use the promo code NOTEBIRD and they're only 99 cents! i just got myself 2 packs, since i already have a pack from ebay sitting around. deal ends 11/8 i believe
http://www.amazon.com/Tech-Armor-De...Armor+Galaxy+Note+4+HD+Clear+Screen+Protector
Thanks!!
WOW!! This has got to be the best deal ever.. THANKS!
Saw that on slickdeals and took advantage of that. Hopefully they are sized properly so we dont have to worry about the edges not sticking due to the slight rounding of the glass on the edges.
Did something change? It's not eligible for Amazon Prime anymore.
The promo code brings it down to $0.99 + tax and free 3-day shipping. Not a bad deal, thanks!
yeah i think they were selling out like crazy so they changed it up a bit...
my 3 packs shipped, should be here thurs!
I just ordered and got the 99 cent deal, but is say this item will be released on October 27th.
Anyone happen to know whether or not screen protectors affect the sensitivity of the S-Pen or screen in general?
Code expired.... Boo
So for a dollar I mean even if it was terrible you can't really complain. This was a deal!! As suspected the edges don't lay don't as you would like but because of the 2d glass I guess this is as good as it gets. Here's some pics for y'all to check out if you were looking into purchasing them.

After some use the Spen doesn't seem to be affected at all. Maybe after a couple of days the edges will settle down and then this will be perfect.
to update mine, i love this screen protector. my edges aren't nearly as bubbled as yours, though. then again i took like 15 minutes just to get it on perfectly even lol. mine looks perfect and it's a real nice screen protector...glad i've got 9 of em! lol

yeah mine are slightly bubbled.. but honestly I never ever notice it. I really like these! I'll buy again in the future.

plus bc of the fact they do the cutout for the home button rather than wrapping around it... makes it so much easier to apply!

Very happy i only paid 99 cents for this. It looks horrible IMO and makes the whole phone look like a toy (as do all the others)
are they glass H9 protectors or just like an invisishield?

Got mine installed today. I had to reset several times to get it aligned just right. Once that was done, I just had to squish out the bubbles and then lift to remove the remaining dust particles with scotch tape.
It is perfect now. Can't even tell it is there.
The key is to not to be afraid to lift and correct as many times as required to get it right.

If anyone gets one of these, could they please review it? I really like how small the Tilt is and i'm curious to find out if using one of these cases makes it feel bulky or if it's still small enough to fit comfortably in jeans front pocket...

I've seen those. What I'm more referring to is comparing it with and without the case. Same picture, two phones (or photoshopped together). Just to give a bit of scale to it

I just got mine the other day from eBay, and the front face doesn't fit all the way on or stay on. I'm going to have to return it and find another one.
I've finally tested this case for more than 10 minutes and I really hate the fact that the edges are not beveled in, making it extremely hard to use my fingers to press the softkeys on the screen, onscreen scrolling and some slight awkwardness when pressing the outside buttons.
Mine was also made of white plastic, so it has this ugly white lip around the edges.
After removing my BodyGuardz skin, the case fits snugly and is very hard to remove (I accidentally cracked the lower piece while removing)
Oh well, you get what you pay for. Time to read up on Seidio cases
http://www.wirelessaccessories.com/... 8925 - TyTN II - Kaiser&sfid=134039&c=164107
I've used these for my last 2 devices. I don't recommend the rubberized as they scrape up easy. While you get what you pay for ($5.95 + ship) so I buy several. I prefer the protection from scratches and ease of use . It does make getting to buttons a little harder, I agree.
I went on Ebay and got a clear one for around $4 shipped. looks decent, works, only thing about the clear ones is that dust tends to collect under them and phone looks dirtier. a quick clean and back to new. i dont recomend dropping the phone using the case, but in all honesty i dont recommend droping the phone all together.
to dang big for me,i really like android and all but wow this phone is way to big for me and i think im going to throw it on the market place.but the screen is so nice and i love android 4.0 i just have small hands.

That may be the reason it feels so big as the iPhone is so small. The value of the gs3 won't depreciate rapidly, so I would hang on to it and try it for another week or 2 before you try to sell it. :good:
Good luck. And P.S. You can get a thin case like the speck pixel hd or even a cruzerlite case from amazon.
... really its less than a quarter inch of difference on sideways width...

The case you want is a D30 with cutouts for the buttons. Not sure what the model number is...(not printed on the box)...but it is really slim.

Plus...4.8 inch screen...is more of a One and a Half handed phone. :silly:[/QUOTE]
that is right oh well i tried.
I actually think it is not big enough. I have the Note but it was too wide for one-handed use, so when I saw the specs for the S3, I said 4.8 should be just right compared to the Note's 5.3 inch screen. But I have to admit I was a bit disappointed, I was expecting the S3 to be a slightly bigger. I see now that the phone is taller but still rather narrow. Don't get me wrong, though, I am loving the phone compared to my iPhone 4, so I am still happy overall! Now if the rumors turn out to be true about the Note 2, bigger screen but narrower and similar to the S3 in terms of curves, then it will definitely be my next phone.
I suggest getting the flygrip. It's a finger grip and a kickstand. You stick it on the back of the phone and the adhesive will keep it in place. You'll never worry about dropping it and with your fingers in the position they are, you'll be able to reach all corners of the screen with ease. You can check it out at
Flygrip.com

I can use it one handed without too much struggle and I have relatively small hands. I don't think its too bad and I am coming from a HTC Hero which is a little smaller than the iPhone.

But the screen sizes are a huge difference. He can probably reach the whole iPhone screen with half his thumb extended. While the gs3 takes a while thumb and a slide of the hand.
Deebo took your bike too?!
Get apex launcher or Nova. They have a setting where you can swipe down anywhere on your home screens and the notification toggle slides down. That way you dont have to reach to the top so much.
Just got my Verizon Note 4 today and there was no "gapgate" issue with my phone.
Anybody else get their phone with the gap?
Edit: Mine was a White Pre-Order from Verizon.
I got one for myself and my wife. The one that arrived from Verizon in the mail had a slight gap. The one I purchased from the Verizon store was perfect.
Gap gate?

Mine has a pretty good gap on the top side of the device. Dust keeps getting on there and building up. Not sure if I should return it before the 14 days is up.
No gap but mine has some small scratches on the screen hardly noticeable but upsets me because its brand-new. Not worth returning though

No gap. Black.
I forgot to mention that mine was one of the White pre-orders from Verizon.
My Black Pre-order had a pretty substantial gap on the top as well as a nice sized gash on the inner portion of the aluminum border where the gap is located. VZW is sending me a new device. I hope that this one doesn't have the same issue.

Did VZW give you any issues. My 4 came with chip near the headphone jack. And they are giving me all sorts of troubles. They told me they could send me a new one but they'd have to charge me the Retail price and then once they receive the old phone they'll refund it. According to them "We can't tell when the chip happened" even though I called less than 24 hours after receiving the phone

The side pieces are perfectly aligned, no issues here. They must have fixed it.
Well, I have now gotten 2 replacements and each one has been too small to cover the sides of the Z Force. I am going to request a refund.
Good idea. I ordered a wood skin if that changes anything...
D brand skins has nice sets. Customizable. I just ordered a camera skin. It scratches too easy, and a skin should fix it.

That they don't. Dbrand usually prioritizes fit before adding extra fluff. If the side pieces aren't supplied, it's usually because they thought it would be too much trouble for users.
Slickwraps just goes for volume.
does the wrap (dbrand or slickwraps) help with how slipper the phone is? I want to use the phone without even the style mod.

For some reason, mostly sales, i keep ordering Slickwrap skins and I highly don't recommend them.
The last one I ordered, marble, looked plain bad, nothing like the photo on the site. Same thing with the gold flake, thing was actually kind of metallic. Odd for a wood skin but...
Bought one for the G3 and it's fit was uncomfortable, not to mention the mahogany wood grain was not as realistic as the exoskin I was used to or dbrand.
Plus when I ordered my black marble skin my wife order a few for he v20. It took 20 days to arrive.
Not a fan at all.

I got a marble skin on special during their 30% sale for it... It's decent, but marble effect looks a little faded. Don't know how it compares to slickwraps.

I guess I should've taken a photo. I don't think anyone could tell the Slickwraps marble skin, I ordered the black, was supposed to be marble. There was no texture. It was like they printed a marble texture on plain vinyl. My only comparison, again since I'm a wood skin fanatic, is the dbrand concrete. That wasn't obvious as concrete, my wife thought it was supposed to be wood, but it was textured as you'd expect.
This case is something special. The phone is completely protected, and when I mean completely, that is an understatement as it has 20 feet drop protection!
Everything from the fingerprint sensor, the buttons, the charging port. I have huge hands but I have no problem to get The S-Pen out. I highly suspect others people with larger hands will have a harder time to remove the stylus.
Once you put this case on you'll probably never remove until you get your next phone as the removal process can prove difficult for some. For $20 and prime shipping, I don't see why anyone would spend more for less protection. An easy 5 stars, case closed!
And there is not screen protector comes with it. I think that a glass screen protector is going to be the way to go on this phone due to the stylus. If all other things were the only factor, the case is a solid choice for the money.
All in all, this case is a great alternative to the Otterbox Defender style case. . I am very pleased and for less than half the price of a Defender style case, this is beyond a good bargain.

Looks far too plasticy IMO.
I just received my Note 10+ Aura Blue and the black ArmadilloTek case. Pretty awesome case. Good grip, buttons are eat to push but don't stick out too far, easy to install, and good protection all around. I would definitely recommend for the price over OtterBox, it's not as bulky as OtterBox. Case isnt as big as the pictures look and the kick stand is strong. Will definitely be my daily driver case.
