If you search you will also find flashable tarp zips that can be flashed in recovery. You flash it in cwm recovery, reboot to recovery, and you will now have twrp

I have rooted and installed CWM Recovery on my i9505 with 4.3 official firmware but I can't seem to recover my backups from CWM. It seems to complete the recovery task but at the end, it shows like i've only flashed a new rom and the root and CWM gone. Any solutions?

Yeah Philz is the go, I changed from TWRP got sick of it hanging on boot, Philz had been awesome for me so far

Had it up earlier, just needed to edit the updater script.

This recovery is only for GT-I9195, haven't seen one for your device.
Can't flash roms with custom recovery "Error in sdcard status 7".I have tried CWM recovery and Philz recovery both are giving the same error roms that i have that i tried google edition roms and stock tuchwiz rom.Don't know what going on with s4 first it started giving network registration error and now this.

Download and flash Philz Recover 6.09.2 via recovery then reboot into recovery and then flash any custom rom , Dont forget to FullWipe before flashing any Rom

Ok i will try it but i was using philz touch 6.12.8 when got the error.

sir can i ask a question is there a posibility of changing my clokcword recovery to TWRP on my s4 int gt-I9505 i installed cm11 and recovery via the cm 11 installer can i change the recovery to TWRP? sir can i use the goo manager to change my recovery from Clockword recovery to TWRP and change my TWRP using rom manger to change it back is that possible? because i new to this i just want to try other recoveries can you help me i just a newbie

You can flash any recovery you need just flash zip via recovery it's as simple as that bud
You can try TWRP but best in my opinion is philz cwm ?

Im on cloudyg3 1.2 and i want something new and i saw other roms and they reccomend to use 2.8.11 while i use 2.7.0 should i update twrp and if yes how can i update it i really noob in these things
