Need Help

Hello All,
I have LG g2 Running following version. I have tried to root and update it to the following method but I am unable to do it

Can anybody tell me how can I update it on lollipop as I am unable to do it via OTA.

LG PC Suite to update. Update to KK, use IORoott for root (best method), then update to LP (very hard to root LP, at least for my D802)

tried this but PC Suite says your os is up to date. any other solution?

@imk79 try to check with the lg imei checker or your phone also has lollipop update for your country. If it still says kitkat then that could be the explaination why it says up to date.
If you reached lollipop btw, try lgroot it worked perfectly in my case.

You can flash Lollipop KDZ.

If 20 is your latest available then yeah. If 30 latest available then download and flash that through download mode. Else just download an v30 stock for your device model and flash it through download modr

search for autorec if you are in KK use auto rec for kit kat if you are in lollipop then use the one for lollipop.. check in the playstore.. i know fro lollipop theres is in playstore but if you are in kitkat try to see if you find it in playstore or search for it.. it must be for your D806. dont use another one or youll brick..

Thank you very much for having responded to my query, but already eh buacado the AUTOREC in the play store and not for the D806 model , as I tried with the most similar to mine the D805 version and in doing so I went out error on startup system error , I can not find any clear guidance even where made ​​with the version D806 .

i made myself clearly not to flash other variant or model. i said youll brick phone..i also said for the lollipop ther is in playstore,then if you didnt find for kitktat ,you had to use google to search for it... what error are you getting? can you please tell me exactly whats your problem now. or if you want in spanish send me a PM.

The version ia not EUR because it came from TIM provider from Italy (this a cellular carrier)

I used this to update my H815 (unlocked) from V81520D and now have lost my Download mode and so am unable to go back to previous firmware. Does anyone know how to get download mode back. Did not realise this was a carrier firmware. Also unable to root.

Did you try using LGUP to downgrade firmware? You don't need to enter download mode manually. Just put KDZ in LGUP and install.

Thanks for the reply. Tried LG Up, it does not switch the phone. Gets as far as extracting the .kdz then wait appears in the box and after a short time it stops and an error message appears.
It seems that the Italian TIM provider version of D85520F has written out Download Mode. Cannot enter it by the normal hold vol up while inserting usb cable. Phone just flashes LG boot screen twice and boots normally.
Tried rooting using Kingroot (which worked on 20D) but no joy.

Further to my post re TIM firmware. Have been able to get back to 20D using LG Up. Did a complete factory reset and connected to LG Up without setting up phone and 20D installed, although LG Up stopped half way through and put up a window with an error msg but a continue button.

Tried that and still didn´t work

{10/6/2016} OTG new firmware update vodafone Netherlands: Marshmallow V20F

Short changelog says battery improvements and usability improvements via google patch (01052016).. Cant tell you much more. My bootloader unlocked and rooted H815 eur phone doesn't let me install the new software through otg. updating through LG bridge is succesful but you lose root and recovery..

09-06-2016 new update for h815 to 20F euro...
Hi all,
new update for my LG g4: We are now up to 20F in the Netherlands.. improvements again: google patch to 01-05-2016 and battery improvements..
Updating via LG bridge as we speak, root and recovery will be reset and have to be reinstalled..

By all the updates going out in specific countries I'm pretty sure Europe will get its update soon. Fingers crossed!

Yep, installed LG bridge fresh and it says no update available, I'll try again tomorrow/monday

I don't think v10D in south africa will be any different than V10c we have from european versions.

You can dl both Roms and try if vd works on your phone. If you have problem you can flash your stock Rom. I have turkish phone and i want to try European Rom but turkish Rom did not release, İ'm waiting. If you can try what i tell, we all have knowledge what will happen flashing 850 Rom over not european but same 850 rom based phones.

Available now, just waiting root for V10D

I got the update on 28/6 on my EU H850 model and other than the almost 10-15% speed increase didnt notice anything diferent.
Apps are opening faster and multitask is faster.
Has anyhone any link for the fixes they made? or they just optimized the phone for speed increase?

"No brand EU V10d" available via OTA update:
- Usability improvements through Google patch
- Phone usability and functionality
- Voice call quality
It fix the important issue "volume too low" during recording audio message in Skype and Messenger, tested.

Low Volume on whatsapp voicenotes Fixed, yay!

Yes you can flash it over 10C. I have installed twrp and rooted on 10D

Im on v10d now, flashed it via LG UP but the volume in my voicenotes in whatsapp is still too low...
Telegram now works fine. Anybody else or solutions for that?

If you select UPGRADE in LGUP, it will update without wiping any of your data. REFURBISH option will wipe all data.
I just updated my 10c to 10d by using upgrade option and everything went fine

So you are rooted? This is stock rom and at least on other devices twrp is then replaced by stock recovery. You might need to use refurbish option. I'm new to LG and I have pure stock at the moment, so I'm not familiar with this phone yet.
