I have a problem.

but i didnt like it and i came back to negan rom.
(Yes, I did full wipe)
Now i habe problem with 2g and 3G internet.
Google play and browser detect no internet, but i can log into my google account.
My chat (Gadu-Gadu) works fine...
I tryed to go back to stock rom, and root, instal 2ndboot, and flash one more time negan Rom.
Problem is still there.
what i can do?
Checked baseband to match your region already?
Was it working before? Doesn't seem like a baseband issue.

3G do not work
i've a similar problem with the last nightly:
Every think working fine except the 3G reception only.
I've try to change the base hand configurations but the problem still there.
Wi-fi working fine
Sms OK
Gsm seems OK
Just the 3G
Any suggestion?

Yesterday I upgraded my N4 to Lollipop and everything went well, except for the fact that I only have EDGE mobile data connection and not 3G.
I tried several things:
- Used other modems from Kitkat and hibrids
- Re-flashed everything (Lollipop)
And the result was the same: NO 3G (H) available, only E (Edge). I ended up soft braking the phone so I used NRT to do a full clean install and re-installed 5.0 from stock (still no 3G, off course).
Does anyone experienced this? Any pointers as to what might be going on?
Help will be appreciated.

Maybe check preffered network in settings or flash a custom kernel, since you have tried pretty much everything

Yeap, I checked that. Thanks!
I now went back to Kitkat stock and still the same. It might be the network, but my wife's phone is working on 3G.
I'm gonna keep trying

It was indeed a network issue, sorry !
I called the company and it was solved in 10 sec with a "line reset".

I have today downloaded and installed Cyanogenmod 11 on my S4 from Cyanogenmod website via one time installer.. Everying went fine but I have a problem now. My 3g is not working. My S4 is always on roaming. I have searched in internet first but I can't find a solution for this problem.
Can anyone help me please?

Still no data?
This solution worked for a Danish guy with Telenor carrier.
"There are plenty of fields in an APN entry they my provider/carrier did not address, MVNO type for example, and that one turned out to be the problem It was set to 'SPN' by default, but it should be 'None'. I found that out be reflashing a CM11 M12 and checking the APN settings.
This particular misconfiguration is of course specific to my provider/carrier, but it is probably a general problem for people with mobile data problems."
Still no data. Wow cyanamod is so much better then touchwizz crap. But how can I solve this problem. Do I need to change on the APN?

it is permanently. you can deinstall the app afte activated.

You will see 5ghz networks. So if you don't have any you will not see anything new.
ive rooted my phone, installed mt6752 enabler & dont have any 5Ghz wifi show up in my wifi list... i know my 5Ghz works fine because my S4 picks it up no problems... any ideas?

i have the same problem with my k3 note: i want to use the phone as fpv-goggles for my yuneec q500-drone, the drone camera cg03 only connects to 5ghz-phones as my old galaxy note3. but now i want to use the k3 note and its "vr switch mode" for fpv-flying....but the k3 note does not receive the 5ghz-signal. the apk download MT6752 5.0GHz Enabler does not support android mm 6.0...

I have S424 rom, and the 5g wifi does not work. my phone cannot see it. anyone who has a success can share some ideas? also , the S424 rom has very good battery life, but the wifi is pretty slow than 1613 rom. if you run a speedtest, most time, the s424 rom has only half of the speed in the same test conditions in my house.

and did successfully enable the 5Ghz WiFi permanently. Follow each step properly til the end, make sure step 12 and 13 are done, otherwise you have to redo again.
but 1st, you need to have root and a custom recovery TWRP.
I accidentally wiped out my nvram partition when upgrading to a Marshmallow rom with SP Flash Tool and wanted to re-enable 5ghz wi-fi.
Unfortunately, I couldn't get the needrom.com tutorial working due to the SP Meta program not detecting my phone properly (probably due to a driver issue).
I did find a workaround if you are rooted. View this link: https://www.android-hilfe.de/forum/...recovery-root.739625-page-2.html#post-9457294. The page is in German so you'll need to use Google Translate.
Anyway, to summarize, the solution is to modify the following file with a hex editor - /data/nvram/APCFG/APRDEB/WIFI. You will need to modify the C5 and 106 byte offsets from 0 to 1. Next, you will also need to delete the last two bytes of that file. Then save and reboot your phone and the next time you turn on wifi, you should be able to see your 5ghz wifi network again.
The problem with this approach is you might need to redo this if you ever wipe out your /data/nvram/ folder.

Hi, so I have a Canadian Samsung Galaxy S4 SGH-I337M.
I recently flashed Synergy's Cyanogenmod 13 that would allow me to run marshmallow as they have discontinued for my model on the official Cyanogenmod site. After I flashed Gapps Pico and everything was working fine until I tried to use mobile data...
I tried everything I could find i.e Airplane mode, DNS Changer, VPN and most notably changing APN's. As for when I changed APN's I am with mobilicity so I just changed the APN to wap.davewireless.com as instructed on their site but didn't work. I thought it was because "Synergy's CM13" might be "sketchy" so I also flashed CM11 made for my model off cyanogen's official site as well as Resurrection Remix still didn't fix the problem. Is there anything I can do to access my mobile data.
BTW: I can receive calls, texts, voicemails literally everything but my data. I can also receive texts from mobilicty about billing if that means anything.
