Use the link above and get the firmware which matches your region even if it does not match no plm only for warranty purpose u should have same region firmware to avoid any clashes with Samsung Centre
u are having one of the oldest firmware for S4 u can use any latest of firmware available as per your wish
Flashing any stock rom will not increase flash counter(or so i've been told) so you can flash whatever you want and reflash original csc firmware for warranty purposes if needed

Well, there is significant difference/ B is the second letter, while the T is on the end somewhere, so it is letter of misery. If I'd be you, I'd look for the premium file, which would have the AAA code.
Of course, if you'd have a spare 2 minutes, you can use mysterious tool here. Click the second link, and you will have the mystery explained.
P.S. Good Lord, how I'm missing the times when kiddos were given bikes for Christmas...

Cheers mate
This method to chnage CSC doesn't seem to work for S4
*#272*IMEI# then change the CSC to BTU
Will BTU or TSI make any difference for my APN (Access Point Name) settings for data connection?
The reason I want to get my stock rom is because I want to flash my phone with Android 4.4.2 I9505XXUFNB9 Firmware and I want to be able to go back just in case something goes wrong with KitKat
Go back......lol

1. Where, for the Goddess' sake, have I mentioned that you shall/can change the CSC???
2. The link, I pointed you to, is giving clear response to your previous question about: what is the difference in the code.
3. If you are planning to update from 4.3 to 4.4.2 you can forget about the downgrade because of new bootloader (you have my personal permission to look for that in General).
Last but not least: I went through your logic in questions you wrote. I am not interested, what drugs are you taking, but it would be nice if you could provide your delaer's contact..

My Lord I don't do drugs just enjoy Cuban cigars
VDI (IRELAND)
Country code BTU seems to be an unbranded firmware which is not in the list of country codes. Also one of the many advantages to having BTU as far as I see the carriers get the update first
However, the structure seems to have changed for the S4.
CSC: I9505BTUEMK5
BTU= UK unbranded
E = ???
MK5 = Build number
(M is the 13th character of the alphabet and K is the 11th, so it is Nov 13 version 5);
Good point about the new bootloader
1st is year, 2nd is month & 3rd is date so MK5 is 2013/11/05 so NB9 would be 2014/02/09
That's how the date is calculated ?

By asking for your dealer contact, I meant exactly what I wrote: the logic of your questions. To be specific, in your first post, you have asked for the DIFFERENCES between "CSC: I9505TSIEMK5" and "My Galaxy has CSC: I9505BTUEMK5".
Could you kindly direct me to the point, where the E is any difference for the example given by you?
And you say that you're able to do this without any drugs? You are saving a lot of money, I'd say.

You are right. Perhaps I should have asked why I couldn't find my firmware I9505BTUEMK5 under Ireland as for vodafone VDI
It seems than when you get the Samsung here the first day all of them are coming with the unbranded firmware from UK and also unlocked as my last three Samsungs
I didn't know which firmware was TSI in Ireland but google is my great Lord

Still not fully convinced over installing Kitkat after what you mentioned no being able to go back and the problem using an app that attempts to access the SD card to either modify, delete or create a new file, that app will be denied access to doing such a thing
Still enjoying my cigar

Who is trying to force you for the upgrade??? About the SD card access, there is a nice thread in General section which provides easy to apply solution.
However, once again, I'm not saying that you SHALL or SHOULD upgrade.
Personally, I have just upgraded mine to 4.3, because I found the method of rooting without knox triggering.

Mobile Odin Pro skipped MODEM #2

I just flashed the new Note 3 firmware :
Product Code: XME
PDA: N9005XXUEND3
CSC: N9005OLBENC3
MODEM: N9005XXUENC2
I used mobile Odin Pro, however there was a short notice that it skipped Modem #2 for I don't know what reason because the message was gone before I had time to read it.
The phone is ok, but the baseband is still the old baseband N9005XXUENB1.
What is Modem #2 and how do I update to the newest MODEM: N9005XXUENC2 ?
Many thanks

I am currently update all to ND5.
Thanks for the link I tried to read that guide 3x and I still did not understand anything. Perhaps my English is poor.
I have actually extracted the modem.bin from my firmware and flashed it as phone in pc odin. It is now workong fine. The bootlader is unchanged though which is the same 4.4.2 bootloader the phone came with. I guess it is not a big deal as long as it is a 4.4 bootloader.

The latest stock firmware for your device is this ONE. Only reflash that firmware via ODIN and when you dial *#1234# have to appear this:
AP: N9005XXUGNJ2
CP: N9005XXUGNJ2
CSC: N9005OJVGNH2
