[Q] How to update my XXUBMJ6 version to 4.4.2 - Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) General

Hi all,
I have a Samsung Galaxy 10.1 (2014 edition)
Phone model: SM-P600
PDA Version: XXUBMJ6
Android Version: 4.3
CSC: XEF
Rooted and recovery Philz touch 6.41.6
Never installed a custom ROM on it
Since some days, my tablet propose to update to 4.4.2 , but it fail on every reboot.
I think it's because I am rooted
What is the best solution for me :
Unroot (how?) To apply the update ?
Flash a new ROM (which one do you suggest ?). Official or custom ?
Thanks in advance for your help

Hi,
I would flash a stock ROM 4.4.2 for your model.
You can find them HERE
Flash the ROM with Odin.

Either Odin full stock rom or download Skies3 on your PC and connect your device to it and Skies should update your device as is. (without uninstall root or custom recovery). Once done, you need to re-root and re install custom recovery.

[Q] Flashing OTA Update.zip Package via Stock Recovery?

Hi!
Im from Croatia and I want to update my Galaxy S4 GT-I9505. My Galaxy is locked on T-Mobile so I downloaded official firmware for my S4.
I found this metod on DroidViews and I think it is very simple metode to do OTA update.
Current:
Number of model: GT-I9505
Android: 4.2.2
Basic version: I9505XXUAMDC
Kernel: 3.4.0-431985 [email protected] - 137#1 Thu Apr 11 22:42:13 KST 2013
Number of version: JDQ39.I9505XXUAMDC
I have downloaded:
CRO-I9505XXUDMH7-20130910164421
I have some questions:
1. Is this metode safe?
2. If I have KNOX on my S4 (my currently version is I9505XXUAMDC) will this metode activate it, if it does what then?
3. After I update my firmware with this metod, will I be able to upadte my software in future ia Kies?
4. Can I brick my S4 with this metod?
5. What I can do if something goes wrong (for example if my S4 get stuck on rebooting)?
6. Do I lose my warranty if I fo update with this metod?
I am NOOB in this so help me if you can.
Excuse me for my bad english.
Thanks!
- What u downloaded no is a OTA update, is a STOCK FULL Firmware. U cant install it by Custom Recovery
- U can flash the firmware u downloaded (MH7) with ODIN 3.09, but this will void ur warranty too (Knox 0x1)
- The best u can do is wait for T-mobile updates and update ur phone with Kies for keep ur warranty
Can you give me some link with update which I can do with recovery, links on hotfile are dead.

[Q] Confused in flashing -- having a brand new s5 5.0.0

Hi there
before i start i want to say that i m not new in flashing but only with my samsung note2... it´s now the day my girlfriend got it´s new s5.
Device: S5 , SM-G900F
Android Version: 5.0.0
Base: G900FXXU1BNL9
Build: LRX21T.G900FXXU1BNL9
KNOX: 2.3
i want to install her a better Rom then the Stock because i think every Custom Rom is better then the stock´s.
i read in so many threats that i first have to downgrade to 4.4.2 then root, then flash 5.0 version.
I couldnt find (maybe i m blind) a tutaorial with my pre-conditions (BNL9) and towelroot what i ve read is not compatibel.
Do i really have to downgrade, upgrade to stock pre-rooted and then flash a custom Rom ( i think about flashing Alliance http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2716535 )
Please tell me if you have any sources for me with the BNL9 and what i can make.
Thanks for your advices

[Q][Noob] Upgrading to AryaMod

I have an unrooted, stock Galaxy Note 3 (N9005) on 4.4.2 and would like to upgrade to AryaMod v8.1.
AP: N9005XXUGNK1
CP: N9005XXUGNK1
CSC: N9005VAUGNK1
What would be the best way to upgrade the ROM. I had a look and CF-Auto Root (which I believe I need for installing the recovery) only works on Lollypop 5.0 for N9005, which I have not yet got the update. Would it be better to wait for the official update for my carrier (Vodafone Australia). If I install an update for 5.0 (any suggestions for a good firmware) from another region, would it be compatible?
I have tried towelroot, and it does not work (I believe there was an update which blocked it).
If anyone has updated from the Vodafone AU phone, or from 4.4.2, any tips is most welcome.
Rooting is not required to install a custom recovery.
You need to install a custom recovery such as twrp to install a custom rom.
You could install twrp using Odin.

Guys need help about downgrading from 6.0.1 to 5.1.1

Brothers i flashed below stock debloted rom via odin 3 days back
Device: Galaxy Note 4 SM-N910C
Build: Android 5.1.1
Build date: Fri Dec 11 18:50:38 KST 2015
Changelist: 6035384
Product Code: (BTU) (United Kingdom Unbranded)
PDA: N910CXXU2COL2
CSC: N910COXA2COJ5
MODEM: N910CXXU1COJ5
BOOTLOADER: N910CXXU2COL2
KERNEL: STOCK
then i flashed [M 6.0.1_r13] ResurrectionRemix v5.6.3
but did not take any TWRP backup of 5.1.1
but their are many problems in Marshmallow so i want to downgrade to 5.1.1
can u help me guys with simple process
i also have twrp backup of 4.4.4 which i took 5 months ago that should have my efs file
now what should i do to downgrade?
PS: i am thinking to do
1st restore 4.4.4 twrp backup
2nd then immediately flash stock 5.1.1 via odin
is it correct to do?
i dont want to take any wrong steps now so asking u guys.
HELP realy appreciated
sorry for trouble in reading my long post and for my bad english
You can't downgrade to kitkat 4.4.4 because the bootloader in 5.1.1 is locked .but you can flash android 5.1.1 ...
go to kies and do recovery fw installation
Just flash 5.1.1 Stock Rom for 910C via Odin.
ROM: Here

Hi..my note 4 910c is shutting down automatically..
I folowed few instructions and found thats happening after System update to marshmallow
I have found and went to safe mode uninstall /disabled some apps which I don't use and after updating I have wiped cache.
After doing all this I have found that my phone has not shut down of 2 hours of usage
benefits of doing that is I found it is charging better thwn before..
Any idea or suggestions?
If you have installed the latest OS updates for Marshmallow. You can no longer downgrade from Marshmallow to Lollipop.
