Hi there!
I recently tried to install the Echoe ROM onto my Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-I9505 and now it is soft bricked and I cannot restore it back to stock. I have tried flashing it with Odin however it simply comes up with the error '<ID:0/004> Complete(Write) operation failed. <OSM> All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)'. I have tried repartitioning the device with a pit file but still no luck. I have even tried disabling my firewall and antivirus in case that does something but I have still not been able to do it.
If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated!

No custom rom can be flashed with odin. You need a custom recovery for flashing a custom ROM.
Can you enter download mode?

Well you can't flash any custom rom through ODIN.
the only thing you can do is go to download mode root your phone again and see if you can restore a nandroid backup succesfully at least if you thought about creating a nandroidbackup before flashing a new rom.
if this is not working install stock rom first and then try to install a custom rom of your choice.
goodluck

Let me start off with I'm an idiot. Now that that's over with let me explain what I did to end up here and what I've tried to do to fix it, to no avail of course.
I was running Android 4.3 rooted with cf-autoroot. My software was messing up and with the news that kitkat was available I wanted to unroot and upgrade.
Using a guide I found online I flashed a version of 4.2.2 android. the file name was I337MVLUAMDJ_I337MOYAAMDJ_RWC.zip
Of course when it finished I had the no sound, no wifi problem because i reverted back to the wrong android system.
I then using twrp flashed VANIR and got wifi but still no sound/calls.
As per other threads I tried flashing I9505XXUDMH8_I9505OXXDMHA_BTU with ODIN but every time i would get the error:
<ID:0/005> Complete(Write) operation failed.
The only somewhat success I had was i was able to flash RWC-I337MVLUEMK6-20131125124040 using ODIN 1.85 which is a 4.3 version but still no wifi/sound/calls.
Other files i have tried to flash are GSM_Modem_XXUFNA5_and_LTE_Modem_XXUFNA5(under phone), I9505XXUDMH8-PRE-ROOTED-KNOX_FREE-ODEX-FULL and even tried a pit file: CSB_signed_Fusion3_EUR_0325_V2.pit
Everytime i get Complete(Write) operation failed.
I've put CWM on but still no luck. I need suggestions or a fix please and thank you.
1. Be sure ur phone is SGH-i337 or SGH-i337M. Take the battery off and take a look the label pls for avoid problems :highfive:
2. Wipe all and flash the latest FIRMWARE android 4.4.2 for ur phone (if is SGH-i337M) through ODIN.
3. When u finish, tell me how it worked. Hi5
Downloading now. It is SGH-i337M. Is it normal to be getting (<ID:0/005> Complete(Write) operation failed.) errors when flashing with ODIN?

Yes if u are trying to downgrade android 4.3 to android 4.2.2 :highfive:
Wow thank you. I did a flash with ODIN 3.09 and that file you sent and it seems to be working great. going to try to put CWM and VANIR on now. seeing as how my warranty is voided by knox anyways. Thanks Joku!

I recently rooted my Fiance's phone and while deleting some unwanted bloatware I accidentally deleted the secsettings apk. Long story short; the phone is back to stock (no root), I am unable to access settings (to enable USB debugging) and I tried to flash stock firmware with Odin and all I'm getting is "sw rev check fail fused 2 binary 1."
Anyway to restore to stock while making sure secsettings.apk is re-installed?
Please help!

You can try reflashing the firmware. You will not lose any data if you follow the correct steps.
Follow this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2704363
1-install custom recovery only.
2-install aroma file manager 1.91 through recovery
3-copy secsettings.apk and install it following my post here;
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=54135700&postcount=648
Thank you for the info, but since I do have root access still I found that the secsettings.apk and settings.apk are already installed. I guess the issue is that the phone crashes everytime I try to access anything related to settings. This is what I get, "Unfortunately, Touchwhiz home has stopped." Any idea what could be causing that?

Just for your information. You were trying to downgrade and your bootloader stopped you. You need the most up to date version and not any letter below your current letter iteration e.g. NA2 < NB7.

How do I know which "letter iteration" I have because I've tried multiple times to flash the stock firmware (which I already have from Sammobile) and I get the same error.
Odin:

<ID:0/006> Complete(Write) operation failed.

Hey guys was wondering can I install a sammy rom on this phone?
It's got some 4.4.2 cm-based rom (rooted and with superSU) and philz recovery on it. Or should I say HAD lol.
I tried to install

But I always get
odin "All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)

in the log window.
It had usb debugging checked, and ofcourse I tried to install it with both odin 3.07 and 3.09 from download mode but to no avail.
I wanted to install a sammy rom on it, doesn't even have to be rooted so what should I try next?
Nedless to say since the install failed it won't boot into the rom, just get some weird blue buggy glitched out screen.
Edit:nevermind guys seems like I was trying to install a 9505g rom on a 9505 phone. Downloaded and installed the official rom and it works just fine.
So, I upgraded my phone yesterday from the Samsung Core Prime to the Galaxy On5 and the phone was great. I used it through out the day and then proceeded to root the device last night using an app called Root All Devices, which is supposed to detect your phone and tell you what to download and how to root that specific phone. Well, its obvious that it didnt work or else I wouldnt be here. I cannot even get into recovery mode. The phone only allows access to the downloading screen, nothing more. I have searched all night looking for a ROM for SM-G550T1 to use with Odin, but came up with nothing at all. I did try to use the SM-G550FY (Indian version?) but that had the exact same result in Odin. When i tried to root the core prime I had similar problems, but once I located the stock ROM for it it worked perfectly. From past experience with my Core Prime I knew to turn on OEM unlocking (FRP lock is off), allowed unknown sources, turned on USB debugging, and the USB drivers are already installed, so everything is great as far as that goes. My carrier is MetroPCS also. Below is the failed result from Odin:
<OSM> Enter CS for MD5..
<OSM> Binary Check MD5.. Do not unplug the cable..
<OSM> Please wait..
<OSM> Checking MD5 finished Sucessfully..
<OSM> Leave CS..

<ID:0/004> FAIL!
<ID:0/004>
<ID:0/004> Complete(Write) operation failed.
<OSM> All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)
If someone or anyone would be kind enough to create and upload the stock ROM for the SM-G550T1 (MetroPCS), I would be extremely grateful and I know many others would be as well. Thank you guys. Please help us.
I've been trying to root my on5 sm-g550t with no luck, no methods work. I think this is because this phone is not well known. My carrier is t mobile and can barely find any info on the U.S. device. So I guess try the Indian root on the phone? I have such a hard time and I just want to find a method to root it.

Tried to. Originally I couldn't get into recovery mode bc FRP was blocking me from using the TWRP recovery, but I just got a copy of stock recovery.img and flashed it so I can access recovery mode again finally. But I can't really do anything with it, no /system access, no USB access, so I can't wipe anything or do anything with recovery mode it seems.

Well when flashing the different recoveries. I was trying to get working it said back up current recovery in Flashify so I did but forgot to move it to my SD card. then i flashed it thats where i was pretty sure that recoveries were different files but written the same way as roms or AP's in ODIN. but then when I went to test it out my phone is stuck in a boot loop with no recovery and I've been trying to use ODIN to try and flash a stock on but it keeps failing.
