Hey everyone! Guess what? HONEYCOMB ROM FOR MILESTONE!!!
It's kinda basic right now, but it WORKS!!!
To use it you just need the Open Recovery for Milestone (and root).
Then just wipe and flash like any old zip!
(Post if any problems like bootloops)

Judging by the OP's short post history, my guess is that it's a theme on top of an existing ROM and probably has nothing to do with real honeybits.

Yeah, maybe, but it says passion which( if im not wrong) is HTC Desire... but anyway that wasn't for milestone!
Anyway, but ... i don't know too much, but the first MIUI ROM was a port from NEXUS... ain't i wrong???

Upd8r makes easier to maintain custom ROM updated!
Just 2 TXT files are involved: 1 into the ROM and 1 on a server.
Advantages using this application:
- for the chefs it is no more needed to publish updates, scripts or commands into a page to deploy them to their users
- users are not required to check a web page anymore
All applications, kernels, scripts can be deployed in a safe way.
Features:
- service starts when netwok is available (3g or wifi) and check iv updates are available
- applications can be installed and uninstalled as you wish!
- commands can be executed before/after download
- only commands can be performed (such as reboot cammand)
- after a download is possible to force a reboot or a rebott to recovery
- all downloads are checked for integrity (MD5 checksum)
KRAKD ROM (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1335950&highlight=krakd) is using it for several months (now ROM is called FROZEN and it is migrating to ICS)

Despite English is not my native language I usually spell and construct grammatically as best I can to avoid misunderstanding. Sorry if that single word offended you.
Also sorry for not including fancy words like dude, bro, man, guys, lol, rofl or more of this kind.
In respect of the person who is addressed I will not fall to the level of calling anyone dude, bro, man or guys when male/female is unknown.

yes , i will , but i dont see slim adding much features in daily so weeklies will do it until slim adds all their features

Thanks for this ROM. It works like a charm for an early build and I'm expecting the next updates will be better. Good job to OP and everyone that worked together. Just to report that NFC isn't working but I hardly see it as a problem since I never use it anyway.
EDIT - Enabled ROOT from the Developers Option but how do I get SuperSU works here? Or do I even need one? Thanks

I never used nfc personally too , but I will work on it the next build , if you want SuperSu from chainfire simply the supersu zip from recovery(make sure you have enable root from developer options)
Tested first alpha version.
* MP3 ring tones not working, (same issue for 1101, 2501, 2701, 3001 and now 3101 official, Unofficial )

@ mauk - I've had a run in with @O-T before - It seems to be a serial offender when it comes to flaming people - There are only so many times that you can use the excuse of something not being your native language. @ O-T The sensible way would be to ask someone who has english as a first language to read you posts first.... that way any unpleasantness can be avoided - If you want to PM me your posts I'll check them over. As for being called dude - as far as I'm aware it can be non gender specific term - so no offence caused there!

Hello everyone since there is no 4.3+ based rom for the GT-I8200 I want to tell a method to install 4.3+ apps on 4.2.
Step 1:
Install apktool[pc] or apk editor pro[android].
Step 2:
Edit the following lines in AndroidManifest.xml.
<uses-sdk minSdkVersion="VALUE" targetSdkVersion="VALUE">
Sometimes the VALUE can be 19 or 21 depending on for which android version the app has been designed.
Replace the 2nd VALUE with 17 and the 1st VALUE with 17 - the distance between 1st VALUE and 2nd VALUE.
Step 3:
Done!
Lets for example take fifa16.apk[ 3.2.113645]
It was designed for android 4.4.
Lets make it playable on android 4.2.
After opening AndroidManifest.xml you will see the following lines

You can run apps that are for 4.3+
And it looks more like aosp
the rest is the same
I play a lot of games , and this phone (the I8200) doesn't have a great gpu vivante gcx100 , but chinese phones with worse gpu can run some of the games I cant , after doing a bit of digging& using what little graphical knowledge I have I found that the gpu driver apk is not upto the task so I tried to patch one from the s3 , didn't work , tried other ones as well with no luck now just hoping that Samsung fixes it or we do via a custom rom / cm , by the way where can I view the changelog for our phones update

I tried tegra extensions & all the other available ones in gl tools nothing worked
the games I'm having problems with are
real boxing incompatible
asphalt 8 twitchy or flickering screen even though game runs smoothly
assassins creed pirates missing hud icons
nedd for speed no limits rgb problem & missing hud icons
When you give information loaded
Please have patience
And the rom is not stable for daily

Hello, and thank you very much for this upload, I love Sense, thank you!
Question please: I downloaded Sense 9, and when I try to install it, I get the message, "app not installed. The package conflicts with an existing package with the same name."
This probably means I will have to uninstall my Sense 8 first, but I'm afraid I will lose all my settings and themes, etc. What do you think? Should I try to find the correct folder and back up settings before I proceed?
I have 20+ custom topics in Blinkfeed, which I've accumulated over several years, and was so pleasantly surprised when I saw them all reload somehow, and I think because I had told Sense my HTC account.

It seems like you tried to install an 7.1 apk to 7.0 android base.. I think it 's not available on 7.0 nougat version but only on 7.1 nougat version..
If your rom is based on a sense version you will not available to install any 7.1 apks..
Maybe try 7.1 nougat rom can solve you problem.. I mostly think
Maybe i'm wrong but i think it's the problem..
