Ok, apparently sometime last night I managed to put my G3 into a left handed mode (all UI is reversed) and for some reason I can not figure out how to reverse this setting. Looked in accessibility, display and can't for the love of god find the setting. I feel like a retarded monkey poking at my phone right about meow.

What do you mean by left-hand operation? I can't think of anything that is left vs. right handed on my phone. Can you post a screen shot of what you're talking about?

On the at&t D850 there is a settings option for one-handed operation which enables the dialer pad, keyboard and lock screen to shift to the left for left handed users and shift right for right handed users. Useful for people with smaller hands.
Don't know if other versions of G3 has this settings option. This option I think is standard on the G3, not carrier specific.

OK, yes, I think all variations have that option, but the OP said those options weren't checked, so I figure he must be talking about something else.

Omg thank you, that was so frustrating lmao only reason why I called it left hand mode is cuz the settings/three dot menu was moved to the reverse side. Anyways thanks again
Ah, yes. That's for languages like Arabic, which read right to left instead of left to right.
go to the setting -> developer option -> uncheck "Force RTL layout direction"

I was using a custom ROM to move the navigation buttons but last week a few ROMs added swipe Ribbons. Follow this link for a Nexus 10 screen shot with a right hand Ribbon including navigation controls (this is not my screen shot). Ribbons default to auto hide.
With the right custom ROM and swipe Ribbons I always have a full screen with an auto hide navigation bar and notifications. You can just swipe down with one finger to have the notifications display at any time. There are multiple kinds of Ribbons and they are fully configurable (content, position, colors, autohide delay ... etc).
Check in the Developers threads to see which ROMs are supporting swipe Ribbons. I use Buttered +Aroma, follow the link in my signature. I have seen some bugs but for the most part they work well and have already become part of my daily-driver configuration.
My own set up uses a right hand Ribbon for navigation contols and Sidebar for left hand app shortcuts. I had already purchased Sidebar before Ribbons were available.
I've looked around and it appears there are a number of paid apps that apparently let me change the soft keys, but I'm not 100% sure if they'll work with the stock LG G2 "OS"...
I want my multitasking button back... No need for a settings button, IMO.

My quasi solution was auto hide soft keys, auto to 0, auto hide only had anywhere on the bar checked, and swipe. You still need to swipe after wake, but if you need anything under it, just tap the left side to hide. If you use the mock option, home will leave space for it.

I love the keyboard with the numbers always being on top, makes it so convenient and its just my favorite but. I don't see an option to let you backspace to erase the whole word with once click if you change your mind or just put the wrong word up, I can't stand having to hold the backspace all the way through it. So I'm using Swiftkey for now which is an awesome keyboard but doesn't have that dedicated number pad along the top but actually has many features that I don't care about and tons of themes too. I hope someone tells me that backspace setting is under my nose so I can use the LG one hehe. :silly:

Did you ever find a solution to this? It's maddening. I tap the word I want and some completely random word that wasn't even close to what I tapped (and wasn't in the list of suggestions) shows up in the text box. I have searched and searched and you are the first person I've found who has had the same issue. I love everything else about the keyboard so I'd rather not switch to a different one!

Hi,
I'm considering picking up the new Note 4, but this seemingly trivial feature is something I've grown to love on my Xperia and LG devices. Does the Note 4 have a double tap to wake feature implemented? Thanks!
There isn't any need for double tap to wake on Samsung devices as there is a physical home button.
This is a big one for me. The double tap to wake or close on the LG G3 has become one of my favorite features.
Regardless or not of there is a home button it would be nice to see this.
