Hello everyone, im new to this forum, recently, i bought from a friend Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900F for 175 Euros. It has Recovery Booting problem, let me explain:
I've flashed stock firmware with Odin 3.09 on my GS5, then i tried to install PhilZ Touch Recovery, TWRP, CWM, but nothing worked, i get stuck on Recovery booting, recovery is not seandroid enforcing, set warranty bit: recovery,
When i dont press Vol Up+ home+ power button, the normal logo appears without Recovery booting issue, but it just restarts, sorry for bad English, but if someone can help me, or ask me for any more details, it would be nice and i would really appreciate it. Thanks in forward.

When flash stock rom it just writes with blue letters Recovery booting.... end it restarts, and doing that infinite times. It probably tries to boot stock recovery, but it can't boot it. There is on youtube video named: Galaxy S5 Manual Factory Reset with Stock Android Recovery ,play it on 1:26. thats when it stucks, and restarts, not booting recovery
When i flash TWRP,CWM or PhilZ, it says the Recovery booting, then recovery is not seandroid enforcing, set warranty bit:recovery
I've flashed UK BTU G900FXXU1ANE2_G900FOXA1ANE2_G900FXXU1ANE2_HOME.tar.md5 downloaded from Sammobile, i've also tried Hong Kong TGY G900FZHU1ANI2_G900FZZH1ANI2_G900FZHU1ANI2_HOME.tar.md5
but, its same thing happening, idk what to do, and yes its original G900F, checked with IMEI from box and from back on phone, also checked with Serial Number S/N, its okay, phone is 100% original, but it had this problem so that is why it is 175 euros.
When i try CF-Auto-Root-klte-kltexx-smg900f.tar.md5, it passes odin successfully, but, when it restarts then i again get Recovery booting, then recovery is not seandroid enforcing, set warranty bit:recovery

I would pull the battery, wait 20 seconds, boot into recovery (volume up + menu + power) and do a data factory reset and see if it boots. After the boot flash the latest superSU.zip in recovery for root.

Download TWRP from here http://techerrata.com/file/twrp2/klte/openrecovery-twrp-2.8.0.1-gt-klte.tar and flash it with Odin. Disable Kies in windows task manager first. In Odin uncheck Auto Reboot and right after the flash pull the battery, wait 20 seconds and boot into recovery.
BTW custom recovery`s are never seandroid enforcing/warranty bit:recovery.

I thik it might be best to flash a stock rom in downloadmode to get the phone booting again. Download a rom for your country from here http://samsung-updates.com/device/?id=SM-G900F and flash it with Odin 3.09. Data factory reset afterwards when the phone has booted in recovery.

[HELP] i9505 Stuck in Boot (serious problem)

Hi all,
Two weeks ago I dropped my Samsung GT - I9505 S4 ( T -Mobile NL ). The screen was damaged (black), but the phone still worked. I could hear the startup sound and also incoming mail and whatsapp messages. So the phone was alive, but the screen was dead.
So i ordered a new screen and replaced it myself. This was no problem at all. The screen replacement was a succes. The S4 logo came up. I was happy the screen replacement worked. But now i had this problem, the phone was stuck in the bootlogo!
I tried to enter the recovery mode, it didn't work (Volume Up + Home + Power).
Then i tried to enter the download mode (Volume Down + Home + Power). This worked.
Then i tried to install the official firmware. I chose to install the newest firmware (I9505XXUEMKF 4.3). I downloaded it at sammobile model=GT-I9505&pcode=TNL#firmware
I used Odin 1.85, 3.07 and 3.09 on Windows 7 and Windows 8 with all the Samsung USB drivers installed. And also i used the Pit file CSB signed Fusion3 EUR 0325 V2.
The phone is still stuck in the boot screen. After a clean install and pass from odin, the s4 says: "Recovery booting". Recovery mode still not accessible.
When i flash my S4 with the latest CW-Autoroot or Philz Touch, the Phone says:
Recovery booting ....
Recovery is not enforcing seandroid

Current Binary: Samsung Official
System Status: Custom
Knox Kernel Lock: 0x0
Knox Warranty Void: 0x1

eMMC BURST MODE enabled
Any help would be appreciated! I am willing to pay for the right solution.
1. Download a suitable kernel in tar.md5 format -> HERE
2. Download ODIN 3.09
3. Once installed, boot your phone in Download mode by pressing Vol Down+Home+Power together until you see a warning dialog. Press Vol UP to get into download mode.
4. Make sure ODIN is running, and NO KIES processes are running.
5. Connect your phone with USB cable to your PC.
6. In ODIN, you should see a COM port with yellow background.
7. Click the PDA/AP button ONLY.
8. Select the kernel file you downloaded.
9. Press Start and nothing else.
10. If everything went as expected, your phone should reboot after a while with a working Recovery.
11. Try now to install the firmware MKF u downloaded before (without selecting .pit file)
12. Tell me how it works :highfive:
I just followed your steps, one by one.
I have all the versions of Odin, so i used the Odin 3.09 this time, like you said.
I putt my phone in download mode and installed the kernel i downloaded from your link. Odin status: pass.

I have T-mobile NL, but also with the T-mobile (I9505XXUEMKF) the recovery mode doesn't work, but Odin says Pass.
So i tried it also with NL Unbranded (I9505XXUEMJ7). I think this does not have any effect.
It's strange because before the screen replacement, the phone booted just fine (except i didn't have any screen). Now i have screen and no boot...
Edit:
What could be the problem?
- Bootloader?
- Some other error?

Galaxy Grand 2 (SM-G7102) stuck in Recovery Booting after firmware update via ODIN

Ok am new here and have to admit that I've had a pretty long day trying to figure out what exactly went wrong with my Galaxy Grand 2 (SM-G7102) after flashing the 4.4.2 Official firmware I downloaded from sammobile to the device using Odin. The process is successful, no errors whatsoever from Odin but when the device restarts it shows the usual Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 logo with some tiny blue text at the top "Recovery Booting" and from there nothing else happens.
I have tried to flash the firmware again using a different PC, USB cable and even Odin version but I get the same result. Previously my device was running Android 4.3 and I wanted to upgrade to Android 4.4.2.
Here is what I get from Odin.

Here is what I get from Odin.

please help me.i have this problem with grand 2
i dont know how can i fix it...please tell me..if you resolved.
For anyone who still has this problem on their Galaxy Grand 2, apparently I never found a way to fix it. But after giving up on the phone and giving it to my cousin, he was more patient than me and he left the phone powered on while stuck on the Logo screen and after say 30 minutes to 1 hour the phone booted up.
The phone works normally, however should you power it down..turning it on again will take it roughly 30 mins to an hour to get past the initial Logo screen, am not sure why but that is how it now behaves.
Try connecting it to a charger while you wait for it to boot, hopefully it will work for you as well.
Thanks
I no how to fix the problem is i think u have not downloaded of ur region
Same damn problem here
Problem seems to be related to fake Samsung Phones. I went to the Samsung assistance centre in Guangzhou (China) and they felt quite embarrassed to tell me that although I may accept to pay any fee they charge they cannot fix my phone because it is not made by Samsung and that is easily the reason why it has a faulty boot manager, probably hacked by incompetents.
Either the phone is fake or the official Samsung Service centre here is, in any case there seems to be no way around it.
I a looking now for some way to reload the original boot loader and then restart from there.
I am having exactly this same problem. I actually installed a Custom ROM from here, but the ROM had some bugs and I later decided to go back to the official firmware from Smasung, only to get stuck on the Samsung boot.
i am here with the same problem with some minor changes
my galaxy grand 2 duos showing

Has anyone found solution yet? I'm having same problem with my Grand 2 Duos.
only download mode is working. Can't boot to recovery or normal.
After leaving in charging for 15-20 mins, I got white flash-logo( something new then ever).
So keeping it in charging for more time. let's see...!
PS: phone starts with grand 2 logo and then samsung comes up with audio. that's it ! after 3-4 mins later reboots and so on.
in recovery mode it shows android symbal and loading bar.. then it reboots in normal mode. and so on.
I guess you guys have downloaded a wrong firmware. I mean, sure it says it's for Grand 2 but the "Region" is different. Try downloading the one for your region like if you are from India, you gotta need indian version that is INS.

First thing - can you get back into Download mode?
If so take out battery and leave things for a while. Then when you put battery back in, hold down the DL mode keys and enter DL. Then connect phone to computer and in Odin, flash your Stock v5
You could also DL the Odin-flashable version of CWM or TWRP and flash that before you restart. (untick the Reboot option in Odin BEFORE you flash the firmware)

What phone do you have?
Do you know which region it is from?
I think that firmware is Austria and some of the Asian phones seem to have different partitions.
Also have you tried re-downloading the file - sometimes zips get corrupted.

trying to uninstall cyanogen mod to go to stock

Hey I am trying to uninstall cyanogen mod on my galaxy s4 so that I can return it to stock to sell it. I was following this guide techbeasts.com/how-to-unroot-samsung-galaxy-s4-all-versions/
I downloaded my firmware off of samsungs site the newest firmware available for my phone. I tried to restore it and it gave me an error about xmitdata fail so I had to unplug the phone and try again. Now if I try and boot up the phone it says firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in kies and try again. If I try and reflash it in odin I get this far now and it freezes...

yes original cable, it doesn't error it just freezes there. in Download mode it says this:

Maybe try different USB ports or USB cables?

If you successfully flashed stock rom, boot into recovery and perform a factory wipe and reboot. The first boot make take a while but the led should pulse blue as it is booting the rom.

I did a factory wipe and rebooted and it froze ive tried 3 or 4 times now it is upgrading 29/89 will post back if it works..
got it booted up and now its asking for set up, I appreciate your patience and help very much
Flash stock again but do not check anything except f.reset time, flash stock rom, when you see the word pass in the status window, remove USB cable, remove battery and wait 5 seconds, replace battery, boot into recovery, factory wipe, reboot.
thanks ill do that if I have a problem, for now phone is up and running and ready for use
That's great news. I guess all you needed was a different USB cable. I find the s4 to be very picky about USB cables when using Odin.

Galaxy S4 flash help

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone could possibly help me with my phone. The story is that yesterday it randomly shut off and then wouldn't turn back on. Then I eventually got it to turn on but it popped up with the message in the first image.
Then I downloaded my stock rom and downloaded it onto my phone using odin with no problems. But then it would just load with the boot image and nothing more. It wouldn't go into recovery mode either so I decided to redo it. However, when I did it, odin froze and left the progress like in the second image for hours. I decided to unplug and do it again, but it keeps on freezing at the same point. Now whenever I reboot it says the same thing as the first image....
Does anyone have any suggestions on what I could do?
EDIT: Now I actually installed stock rom, but it will not boot. It stays on the logo and when I try to go into recovery mode, it says it is going into recovery mode at the top left, but it just infinitely reboots after that. Any suggestions?

Confirm that the phone model # in download mode is the agh-i337m.
If this is correct, try Odin 3.19, uncheck everything excep f reset time, flash the phone. When successfully flashed, remove the USB cable from the phone, remove the battery, replace the battery, boot into recovery, and factory reset.

It's a custom recovery. TWRP stands for Team Win Recovery Project.
I don't think there's a version specifically for your device, so then make sure that whatever you get is for the Qualcomm S4.
Twrp for the i9505 can be flashed to the i337m and can be found here: https://dl.twrp.me/jfltexx/
Download the tar version, flash it in the pda slot of Odin 3.1. Do the same thing where you uncheck auto reboot, flash remove cable etc. and boot into twrp, choose wipe, advanced wipe, wipe cache and data.
