Hey guys-
I have a rooted T-mobile LG G2 running CM 11. The problem is, my family wants to switch to At&t, but my phone has some issues.
When I tried unlocking the SIM card with the code the T-mobile people gave us, it said the USSD code had an invalid MMI code/connection problems.
I tried it several times, but it didn't work.
Does this mean my SIM card is already unlocked? Or is there a problem with the fact that I'm running CM11?
If there is, do I need to flash back stock and then try to SIM unlock?
Thanks in advance for the help

Wasn't sure where to post this as there wasn't an option for Cricket S4. I am however trying to switch this to Bell so i thought this may be best.
Hello folks, I recently purchased a Samsung S4 from Cricket Wireless. I need to unlock this unit to work on Bell Canada which runs CDMA and GSM technologies. After alot of discussion with Cricket they did end up giving me a 8 digit unlock code. The problem is it runs on CDMA and when I take the Cricket sim out to install the Bell sim it doesn't give me the option to enter an unlock code. I did the dialer option and that didn't work either. All the phone says is invalid sim.Thank you all in advance.
Any luck unlocking S4
HI, I know its been a while since you posted this thread but I just came across it. I am trying to get a Cricket S4 onto the bell network and need to unlock it. Did you ever have any luck unlocking yours? I would greatly appreciate it if you have any advice for me. Thank you very much.
I have a Cricket Galaxy S4 (SCH-R970C) with baseband version R970CVVUAMI3
I tried to sim unlock my phone through this method http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2283068.
I did follow all the steps but when I insert another sim (T-mobile), I got an "Invalid Sim" pop up message.
I am thinking of trying this method, but I don't know if it is safe to do so.
is there any way to back up my phone(baseband, etc...) just in case everything screwed up during this process?
do you find the solution

Bumping this for a solution ^^
I have spent hours trying to figure this out for a Cricket SCH-R970C. I would like to use it on straight talk service.
I found this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2282683 but I do not have a working SIM card in order to try this.
Any help would be appreciated!
I purchased LG G2 D800 (32gb) locked to AT&T network. I wanted to unlock it with a code and tried various webstites - 3 of them replied that they cannot offer any support, 2 emailed me back with an unlock code. Codes from those 2 different websites were the same, however it did not work - I now have the last attempt left to unlock it. I tried through one of the 'shops' as well, but they couldn't help either. Can you please advise if you have a reliable way of unlocking or obtaining a code for unlocking? Is there any other way to unlock this phone? Maybe at least a way of bringing the count of tries back to 1? I also tried ringing AT&T but they could not help, as I did not have an account with them - I'm stuck.
Thanks for any help or suggestions you may have,
Problem with unlocking LG G2 D800

Hey there guys I purchased an unlock code for a blacklisted i337 I have which recently was serviced by Samsung because the Wifi stopped working. Anyways I purchased an unlock code where I was given an NCk code and a freeze code but when I put in an unacceptable Sim and then put the code in it keeps saying unsuccessful. Does the phone need to be activated on at&t again before this is possible? Of course Samsung flashed the latest 4.4.2 nc1 so please any info would help
Hello, I am rather new here. I am trying to sim unlock m Galaxy S5 (sprint) that I bought on craigslist. I have the unlock code from Sprint and a Tmobile sim card but when I insert the tmobile sim it doesn't ask for the unlock code, instead just displaying "invalid sim". This is an unmodified phone, not rooted or anything, a stock SM-G900P. Thank you for your help.

Common scam from Sprint customer service... they gave you the SPC code for that device. it does not SIM unlock your device. To unlock your device, install the Sprint Samsung Unlocker APK. This will allow your unit to work overseas only, not in the USA. SSU.apk link?
