[Q] Flashed LG LS970 & LS980 3G Connection Problem

Hello. I flashed a Sprint LG G2 to PagePlus. The Flash goes well and All my items stick. But the problem is the connection is unstable. I'm noticed with both the LS970 and LS980 the same problem happens. The mobile data will first connect with 1x then to Evdo. Then the network will disconnect. I flash phones to pageplus all the time and they all have 3G - EVDO. But the unstable 3G is crazy. It will not stay connected. Why are the new LG phones like this? Has anyone encountered this problem and found a solution? I look forward to people's reply because I know a lot of people have run into this problem. Thanks in advanced.

Hello. Absolutely! That's my personal phone! Just make sure when you flash it, you leave the SIM card in the phone. 3g data works, mms, etc. Good luck.

I have a VZW G2, and want tot ale mine to page plus but I can't find info on flashing anywhere... Can you direct me?

The flashing method is same for all phones. Doesn't matter what kind. I'll give you a good starting place. Viper32 has a forum on here helping people with flashing. And there are plenty of forums with a ton of info. Good luck.

this g2 has been a nightmare for me. i have gotten used to samsung just flash and forget about it, only thing break flash on them is ota. this g2 though..... :/
I'm having same issue. unstable 3g

Sprint probs
What happened with mines is similar but I had the att variant
So I flashed mime to sprint and it worked but only on their 1x network and 3g towers in order for 4g to work and there new spark network I had to get a Sim card and pop it in and boom 4g LTE worked the sec I put it in

No. Call history has nothing to do with flashing. The only way you can lose call history is if you factory reset the phone or you personally delete the call history yourself.

Actually its a known issue with this phone, that it looses its call history when flashed.
It has something to do with the Stock ROM release

I have the same issue.
Also I get a "MIP : 89" error sometimes.
Also, I have a system update downloaded waiting to install but not sure if it'll kill my flash so I've been scared to hit the button.

Is your phone the LS980? I had a customer who updated his LS980 this past week and I had to re-flash his phone. You'll probably have to re-flash as well.

3G doesnt stick

Yes you flash it in CDMA workshop under the Memory Tab. Did you flash this file?

[Q] Help! IMEI LOST

Hello! everyone firstly this post is for my friend! he has a G2 d800 and accidentally his IMEI got NULL due to something unexpected he did now he is trying to resolve it but its not happening and he even tried going to service center but they said they can repair it as it is not a n india piece! so please help me guys everything working fine just his IMEI has gone to NULL and sim slot not working please help guys!

Before giving an answer we're going to need a little more information. What steps did he do prior to losing his IMEI, did he flash a custom rom, custom radio, or did it just magically vanish?

when i tried to install TWRP using AutoRec.apk nd due to different model it goes to fastboot mode to fix this i tried to flash laf.img nd aboot.img nd boot.img bt then again due to wrong model phone got hard bricked then to fix this i had to open the back cover and short circuit to points and after several different flashes of different files i recovered the phone but with null imei nd unknown baseband

I have the same problem, however EFS pro can't read from the phone. It keeps disconnecting...

LG G2 D802 Camera Lag

Hello Today I buy LG G2 D802, Seller said phone is unlocked & we use SuperSU to unlock phone.. I don't know much about unlocking.. So here is my problem
Phone camera is sucks, I dont know why camera is lagging and picture isn't clear, I dont know update solve this problem or not.. Please suggest me what can I do to fix it... I heard somewhere We cant update unlocked phone If we update it then GSM NETWORK wont work anymore.. and phone have no warranty.
Please Help me to fix camera problem.

Use xcam lg if you have root its a modified version of stock camera that fixes most of the issues

Well, it seems something messed up.
Do one thing, Root with stumproot and install TWRP via Autorec.
Then Wipe everything via TWRP (data/cache/system/dalvik).
& Then Install Cloudy G2 2.2 ROM.

Why not Stock Rom?

Cloudy G2 includes the advanced drivers and the G3 ported camera. You will be able to enjoy everything of Xcam there. Give a try as U r suffering now.

I have a g2 who got screen touch behaving crazy after update with a stock rom, not
Mention the imei and the network completely gone and storage was reduced to 10.6gb instead of 32gb
Please help it's the only phone I have

sory, I was out at work
I updated it from kitkat to lollipop: so the version was d80220e when I atached into lg support tool it shows that an update is available which was d80230b
then when I updated it after rebooting the screen is gone crazy , no network and storage reduced to 10.6 after it was 32gb. now i believe there is a solution to this problem
if it is not d802 then what model is it
when opened the back cover it shows d801/d803 on the buttom in the imei service it says its a d802 and the back cover too.... what should I believe

now what you need to do is take out the motherboard and check the model
after you do that i will give you the right kdz to flash and everything will be fine

however you can try to flash a 32gb kdz to fix your problem

you need to disassemble the phone its very easy follow this tuto https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hPFBA24dR1w
and check the model on the back of the motherboard
only then i can give you the right file
open the phone slowly and take your time do not rush

my lg changed from D800 to D802

hi all
at first sorry for my weak english
my problem is started from this rom

so i did downloaded and flashed
now my phone is dead
when i enter to recovery go ok but the touch not working correctly
i used OTG mouse and flashed the D800 recovery and restated the recovery
wont start up and get fastboot mode
now download mode work right
but when i want to flash stock rom in download mode in the phone screen show the name of the stupid rom
in the flashtool says my phone is D802 and dll file D800
changet the dll to D802 it says the the dll and rom different
any help please this is the only phone i have and now its dead

Dude, thats what happens when you use a rom out of the depths of the internet. One said its stolen from other devs. Normal Rom-Devs make a full post with description and have tested it on different models. Some provide help. So the only thing you can do is to try one of these solutions., but I think this will work:
