Downgrade the Bootloader may brick your device.
Can you check if your IMEI and Baseband are still valid?
You can use Phone INFO ★Samsung★ app to check for the Baseband and Bootloader version.

imei and baseband are UNKNOWN with the firmware nd2

What tool did you use to backup? one file is not enough for N9005.
If you use IMEI Backup ★Samsung★ app, you will see there are 3 backup files: efs.img, modemst1.img and modemst2.img.
In N9005, efs.img does not contain the IMEI. The IMEI is stored in modemst1.img and modemst2.img.
Anyway, try to restore with the tool that you have used to create the backup.

Here is the modem flashing instruction. Try to follow it step-by-step to reflash the modem:
Code:
• Switch off your device completely.
• Connect to PC and power on your phone in Download Mode (Volume Down + Home + Power).
• Start Odin v3.09 (be sure it recognised your phone and show ID:COM port number).
• Untick Auto Reboot.
• Flash MODEM.BIN (CP slot - unzip it first).
• Reboot once again into Download Mode using Vol Down + Home + Power.
• Tick Auto Reboot and flash NON-HLOS.BIN.
• If this doesn't work, try repeating the flash process again while rebooting manually and with Auto Reboot option turned off.

Is your IMEI ok now?
So the solution is just flashing the kernel? Not the modem?

Flashing the modem wasn't working, so i don't think the modem was at fault...now my imei is correct and everything is fine

No no, I didnt mean to rename that big file to modem.bin.
The file you are using is a whole firmware. Try to rename it to *.TAR, then open with with WinRAR. You will see a modem.bin file inside. Extract this file (its size is only about 50MB) and flash only this file.

Try restore your efs if you have backup or nandroid backup. If there are none, then you are in big trouble.
1)What firmware are you trying to flash using Odin?
2)Try download and flash the latest stock firmware and flash it.

[Q] Note N9005 modem flashing

Hello everyone,
I know this question showed up a couple of times before, but I'm confused about the whole situation.
I own a Note3 International version bough from an official Samsung retailer in Poland.
Updated to 4.4 KitKat through official Samsung OTA update and a month later decided to go with a custom room. Installed TWRP and Omega 14 rom. Everything is fine, but I can't flash any modem.
Currently I'm running XXUENB1 modem and tried flashing the latest XXUEND6 from Omega repos and XXUENC2 from ALEXNDR development base, but with no sucess.
Tried flashing two times with Odin and than pulling the battery etc. The modem version stays the same. In download mode, it says write protection enabled, is it of any concern?
Is it possible to flash a modem on my Note 3?
Thanks for any help.

Under some conditions it seems that modems are hard to be written on phones with certain bootloaders and a custom recovery - but with stock recovery it seems to work better (and it also works with Mobile Odin Pro).
Right, so I tried the Odin Pro and it says after booting to recovery "Memory lock in place - TriangleAway may fix this. Skipping flash."
So I downloaded TriangleAway, did its magic, but with no result.
Still can't flash because of memory lock.
What can I do next?
Should I flash a stock rom with never modem like this one?

Now trying stock... no go. Back with stock rom and recovery and still stuck with the old modem.
edit2: went stoch, rooted and tried to flash using mobile odin pro - no success because of write protection.
Could it be you need to Sim Unlock first? I'm sure I heard that somewhere. Give it a Google to see.

Is there any way around it?

Use triangle away. Even if the counter is zero, thew is a hidden counter that trips a write protect on the modem. After triangle away, it should work. Just be sure to follow the directions.

Yeah, your're right, I've messed it up completely.
Flashed a stock kernel, triangle away and odin pro... everything is fine. Flashed like crazy
Anyway manged to flashed the modem from XXUENC2 from ALEXNDR development base which is around 60MB's and has modem and modem #2 partitions. Question is how can I flash the modems from omega repos which are only 8MB and have one partition only. When flashing with Odin Pro version doesn't change, although flash is a success.

Are they modem.bin or the non-hlos files? Id really recommend doing modem flashes through desktop odin, especially if they're piece meal modems and not a full stock modem flash file.
Other than that I can't offer much assistance for non stock modems, but good luck in your endeavor, and glad I could point you in the right direction to at least get a stuck fladh to work. ?

If you still have a problem flashing the Modem, I used this 5 min. ago and it worked perfectly fine(used flashing instruction from x-note)
Download Odin3 v3.09 to your pc, download Modems from Omega(I used NC2) both GSM & LTE.
Put Odin and the Modems from Omega on PC Desktop.
Turn off your Cell Phone (power off normally). Take out your battery(wait 5 sec.) put it back in and boot in download mode(volume down+home+power) and than connect your phone to pc.
Open Odin and press AP and choose the GSM tar file from Omega.
Press start and wait for the phone to reboot.
Turn the phone off again and boot in download mode (same steps as before). Now look for the LTE tar file in AP and press start again.
You should now have your Modem Installed. Good luck mate

After flashing stock rom, try to reflash the modem (baseband) 1 or 2 times more.

As you can see in the screenshots, your baseband is null so you have to flash the modem or the stock firmware again.
The screenshot shows your original CSC is KSA (Saudi Arabia). Try to download this stock firmware and flash again.
Open Phone INFO ★Samsung★ app > Menu > 'Firmware Browser' > enter KSA into the CSC textbox > tap Go button to search for the firmware.

1. should I flash a specific stock rom for sm-n900 (how I can determine which one because I have lost the original information)
2. should I try to clear EFS with odin ( when try to flash modem).
3. should I try a custom rom that make sense for this kind of problems ( help to choose !!!).
4. should I apply an update a zip file from CWM mode ( which file should I Use)
5. Is there any ADB command that can batch my IMEI.
6. Is it useful to take EFS backup from another note 3 sm-n900 (what I have to do after that).

WIPED IMEI without a BACKUP

Hey, guys, I have a question: I HEARD that the original IMEI of the Note 4 (I have the N910C - TCE) is read from the motherboard, but I also heard that if you don't have a backup of your /efs folder from the original stock ROM then you're screwed?
Do anyone of you all know anything about this? Problem is: I flashed a ROM on my phone and it wiped my IMEI, replacing it with a generic IMEI (350050500009692), and now I can't get it back without a backup of the /EFS folder?
I would REALLY appreciate your guys' help as its been at least a week and a half since I lost network service... if you guys need more screenshots, just ask and I'll post them.
Flash stock rom with odine wipe everything using a pit file...
I hope that will resolve your problem.
My friend have done the same thing. I flashed stock ROM from sammobile with Odin and IMEI was back and network service was back.

@webmaster750, should it be my phone-specific firmware or just a stock firmware (regardless of region)? Thank you for the reassurance, man.
@jemis1983, should the .pit file be specific to my firmware region?

The pit file should be specific to your model of note 4
you have N910C EXYNOS try first to flash your stock rom without pit if that didn't fix it flash using the pit file.
take a loock in this theard;

Okay, thank you! I already tried to flash another region on 5.1.1 with and without the .pit file, but it would not fix the problem, so do you think I need to flash my firmware for my specific serial number? Like the firmware that would be downloaded from Kies or Samsung Smart Switch?

yep:good:
Make a current efs backup before...
Okay, but why make a EFS backup before when my IMEI is all screwed up?

Yes, specific for Your country or/and provider.
In my friend case I download and flashed the 5.1.1. CROATIA(VIP) firmware.

Make it the same thing if you can make call if not you should not need it.
@jemis1983 and @webmaster750
Thank you, you guys ☺ Okay, let me get this straight: so, I'm going to flash my firmware for my phone's specific serial number (more specific than my own region) through Odin when available and enable "nand erase all" with my specific .pit file as well? With no backup of my EFS (cannot make a call at all)?

Unfortunately bro you will not get anything, l know my words very disappointing but efs or serial number is special information stored in your phone (emmc)by special partition and if you wiped that ,then you lost your serial number forever,
You have only two way?
1-go to Samsung service and they will repair your phone and will back your stock serial number but that will cost you much money (200) $ or more :crying::crying:
2-anyone with zx3 box or octopus box will fix it but another serial number you will get
Super imei and that will 50$or less

@medo sator, two questions:
1. How do I know if my emmc partition is ruined? What if it's just my EFS folders?
2. What is Super IMEI like you mentioned in your comment above?
I have the same IMEI problem and have used odin and samsung tools pro with no change, also i tried reseting efs and nothing. It's a model SM-G750A galaxy mega 2 and i'm out of ideas or exhausted every search, what can i do?
Thanks,
Ok first install https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24459283995315430 that is MM stock rom for N910C. In odin under options please check auto reboot, reparation, f. reset time, nand erase all, phone efs clear and phone bootloader update. Just in case it asks for the pit click on the pit tab and select the N910C pit you can extract in this firmware. I posted the pit as an attachment just encase you can not figure out how to get the pit file.
Will this work for my sm-g750a galaxy mega 2 also?
