I think it is the app's issue. You can't fix it unless you change back to the original dpi or update to the newer firmware (hope new phone app will fix this issue)

Use app settings xposed module and change the app dpi back to 480. Hope this helps

Flash Tkari V2.0 rom and you will have full 320 Dpi rom

Changed it to 480, restart the phone. Still the same result.

Will Artemis V14.0 be fine? or is there a better one then?
but lets first try other options.

JB 4.1.2 in phablet mode

by using xposed framework installer and Per app setting modules. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2072081
- Change dpi in build.prop to 213
- in per app setting , config each app like this

setting and google play are optional but I like tablet layout so I set dpi to 160.
All miniapp work, most of samsung app work (I haven't test it all yet only app that I use.)
If there is any app that doesn't work , you can try changing screen to 800x1280 or check xlarge res to see which one work.
Font for Clock is too large , really can't find how to reduce it.
Definitely useful for some. Nice !

Looks good apart from that cut with the clock. I'm sure it can be fixed easily tho
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda app-developers app
Tried with dpi apps.. And chance the density into 213...
All samsung apps was crashed.. And the print screen button was gone.. Had to restore it back to normal..
But my clock was just fine... Not cut like the op sample..

Did you change your dpi or put it into actual tablet mode? If so, you need either the modified play store apk or to change your dpi back to stock.

That app are compatible with my nexus 7, like the above comment said check your ppi setting.
Since the latest version of play store changes how it detect device model.

libjni_secime.so recommended for your keyboard without it only FC.
(In European Rom we have libjni_latinime.so)
I think would be easier to use the European SamsungIME.apk, because it's multi Dpi.
SamsungIME.apk: Chinese language and 360 Dpi

If you want I can try to port our keyboard for you, but re size it's hard to do, or maybe somebody re sized it already...

Anyone changed DPI yet?

Anyone managed to change DPI? Are you root/non root? S8 or S8+
Yeah. Rooted. Makes the phone (S8) much better.

I changed my DPI in developer settings due to not having root. No issues at 500
Ahhh great, cheers guys!
I set mine to 550, I feel that's the sweet spot for me (developer settings)
Excuse my stupidity but what is the difference between dpi under developer options and changing the zoom/text size under screen zoom and text in Display menu?

There is no difference only that some people aren't satisfied with how small/big you can make things so they achieve that by changing the dpi. Also changing the dpi makes everything smaller or bigger not just the writing. So it's like standard view vs condensed (I'm not even sure it's in the galaxy s8, I didn't even bother looking since I know the condensed is still too big for my taste)
