Hi evryone
been using an RC Elite s5 port rom for a week now on my note 3 and love it
only problem is related to s voice, with note 3 rom i could wake up the phone with screen off and even bypass lockscreen security (on s5 s voice the bypass lockscreen option is not present)
for some reasons active listening isnt working on none of the s5 roms i tried on note 3 so i cant wake up the device with screen off using the voice wake up command and it is a downer coz i got bluetooth in the car and use s voice to perform hands free operation
i tried copying note 3 svoice to system apps and set permissions, s voice did work but still couldn't wake up the device with screen off and on top of that even with note 3 s voice the option to bypass lockscreen wasnt there
i got a canadian note 3 n900w8
please help
Pretty sure it's because of the updated S voice app. Im on note 3 rom, and I am able to active always listening. I have tried the s5 s voice and it didn't work. What u can try is to downgrade S voice and get passive listening back, although idk if s5 rom will break the driver required for this functionality.
thanks for the help
did tried already with the note 3 s voice app but didnt work.
and even with note 3 s voice i still had the s5 s voice paremeters. is the voice app and the voice parameters app two differents apk's ?

does anyone know a solution or a different version for Galaxy N7000 Andriod Note 4 ...??
Been searching for last several hours and not resolution. Got the Gear and one of the apps is a voice memo which then transfers to the phone (Verizon GN3) for future playback. Problem is that when trying to playback on the phone of that file, there is no sound whatsoever. Checked all volume settings on phone and no reason for the silence. Just to make sure I "shared" them back to myself and played just fine on the PC.
Anyone know why this would not work? It's nice to have memo feature on the watch. While not the only thing it can do, it was one I was looking forward to use. Any ideas from anyone?
Hi,
I'm running an Galaxy Note 3 SM-N9005. Before about a day ago, I could use S Voice and Google Now with their wake up commands; i.e. Hi Galaxy or OK Google. However, now, Google Now displays an unshaded mic when I pull up the app and Both Google Now and S Voice don't respond to their hot word. So it's
I'm looking for a solution and preferably one that doesn't require a factory reset. I actually use my voice commands - esp Google Now - quite a lot. So I really need the functions especially cause I use my phone when I'm doing lab work.
Does anyone have a fix or explanation?
Hey guys,
sorry for starting a new thread, but I have searched the internet for days now and don't seem to be closer to a solution.
My problem is this: I am trying to use the (wired) headset that was included with my Galaxy S5 (GM-S900I) with any voice assistant (S-Voice, Google Now, whatever I can get to work).
While my phone is active / unlocked I can long-press the button on the headset to open S-Voice, however I do need to then press the "microphone" button or use the voice command (Hello Galaxy) to activate S-Voice (which should IMO be unneccessary, why else would I long-press the headset button?).
Once my phone is locked / in standby (with fingerprint lock), the screen lights up as soon as I long-press the button on my headset, yet nothing happens and no matter what I do, I can't get the device to listen to me / do anything.
I recently rooted my phone in order to try and fix this issue with eXpose modules etc., yet that also didn't help.
I also tried several apps including headset button controller and switch for S voice, but they dind't seem to help either.
Thank you so much for your help and suggestions, so far this forum has been more than awesome!
Hello all,
I have a LG S Watch R and a Note 4 in use. But after updating my Note to Lollipop it is not possible to make phone calls via 'ok google' call command (on the watch) any longer. The watch displays the call circle but ends up with 'try it on your phone' or so. Same thing with the wear app 'mini dialer'. It works like a charm on Kitkat but refuses to make phone calls on Lollipop. On the phone the voice command still works like expected. I've also tested this function on a Nexus 5 (Lollipop) together with the same watch and it worked. So the watch can't causing this. Other wear apps and functions are working as before.
Does anybody has encountered the same problem?
Greetings
Resurrecting this one. Finally noticed the same thing was happening to me. Did you ever find a solution?
