HELLO GUYS,
i have heard many people asking about APP2SD or Game data ( *.obb files) in custom roms. i have found a solution for you all guys
Requirements:
Xpose installer
Obb on SD Module
Module Obb on SD attempts to make it seamless - just enable module, reboot and move obb's to SD card (to same folder: Android/obb). No need to enter any path or whitelist/blacklist any app.
Just follow the steps: (easy way for newbies/noobs)
Step 1 : Download and install "xpose installer" and "Obb on SD"
Step 2 : Install/Update Framework and activate "Obb on SD" module.. Thats it.
Now the real test..
Step 3 : Move the "*.obb" folder to 'extsd/Android/obb'

@moneytoo - for this amazing mod.
Note: M not the owner of this mod I have just shared this useful info for u guys

There are two ways to move apps to sd
1 - go into applications in phone settings
select the app you want to move
select move to sd card
Note this option is not available with all apps and may break them
Widgets cannot be moved to sd card this way - they will not work
2 - use link2sd
Create 2nd ext partition in cwm (it will format sd card so backup)
Install & run link2sd app & select the correct ext for your kernel (EXT4 is most common)
Go to settings in app select auto link
Your can manually move (link) apps to sd card by clicking them & selecting create link
Note this method requires root & is much better than option 1 as apps will not break
For more info see link2sd thread

It is downloaded first and then installed..if u want to keep a copy of the apps instead of backing them up..open any root file explorer and go here..

That is correct - you can also use root uninstaller which can back them up for you and can also be used to reinstall apps not currently installed on phone that you have previously downloaded
@eatheat u r correct bro but the problem is he should have root acess to see that and if he uninstall a app then that apk file in root folder will also get deleted n he won't b having any backup to install in future..

Easiest way is Just download a file maneger like es file explorer or astro file maneger. You can easily backup installed apps without having to root.

If he wants to back up..he can just take anything off the store..I use Astro and DroidSail super app remover for backing up system apps..

Well, thing is.. you dont need root access to see /data/app folder.. try opening ES file explorer and see root folder and you can copy those apk files to sdcard without root permission...
Anyway op's question has been answered..

Hello friends,
Now that the amazing Gokhan has found a way to successfully have cm10.1 as second rom the main hurdle in daily usage for me was that all the data was on my internal sd root and cm looks for files in sdcard/0 folder hence I have found a small workaround which is working perfect for me and everything is awesome :
STEPS :
1) This is assuming that you have a sammy rom as 1st and cm10.1 as second rom already installed and while performing this step your SIII should be booted in samsung rom
NOW PLEASE DELETE ALL FOLDERS FROM 0 FOLDER AND MOVE ALL YOUR INTERNAL SD DATA TO THE 0 FOLDER please ensure that the data in 0 folder i backed up
2) Install directory bind from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1410262 credits to the dev
3) go to directory bind preferences by hitting the menu button and tick alternate database management
4) go to the main screen of directorybind -> add new entery -> long press where it asks the source and select sdcard/0/Android and press select
similarly long press path area in target and select sdcard/Android and save and then highlight the floppy icon and it should turn green. In the same manner folders like games and whats app can be linked and by doing this you will have all the files in both the roms
I understand the above steps are little difficult and confusing but for now this is the best work around I have thanks
I was searching something like this for a while, im looking for a way to have whatsapp on my sammy stock rom and tamasek cm 10.1 i know you cant have 1 whatsapp account on 2 different phones but i have a dualboot and thats with the same sim offcourse......
Im trying to find a way to create an symlink or mount sammy stock from cm 10.1 to have a working whatsapp on both roms with dualboot.
The problem is that i have cm 10.1 as first rom and sammy stock second.
Maybe anyone else knows how to have whatsapp working on those 2 roms on dualboot?

I'm not sure I understood the first step. Should I
1. Backup all my files in the sdcard/0/ folder
2. Delete all my files in the sdcard/0/ folder
3. Move all data from sdcard/ to sdcard/0/ (excluding the sdcard/0/ folder, of course)
???
If I've to do so when will I restore my sdcard/0/ files?
Thank you anyway for the idea, really helpful

This patch is multi devices and multi roms, you can use it on any roms, this patch will allow you to install apps/games into your internal storage, not just in system storage. This patch very useful if you like doing flashing/changing rom, you don't have to install apps/games manually, one by one like before, with this, you just flash it in the recovery that you've installed all apps that you always use on previous roms...
How to use it ?
- Download the patch from here
- Extract it : You'll find these folders
> data/app
> META-INF/..../updater.script
> system/app
- If you want to install your apps in internal storage, put your .apk files inside "data/app"
- If you want to install your apps in system storage, put your .apk files inside "system/app"
- Repack the zip, then flash in the recovery
- Don't forget to wipe cache and dalvik cache before flashing...
- Enjoy
If you like this patch, don't forget to press THANKS button
Great work bro.... It will be useful for those who like to make a mod or app ported but they posted through root explorer, as an example (rw-r--r--) LOL , I'm sure many who download your work even though no one comments. here as it.
Keep up bro
excellent... I may look into modifying to add "system/priv-app" as an option [emoji106]
update: modding not required as /system includes /system/priv-app from updater.script point of view ~ just had to add a priv-app folder to paste apks into

yes, you can add everything inside system folder, not just app in system/app or system/priv-app, if you had a mods in the other folder(in system/etc for example), just make folder "etc" inside folder system....
cause my script is working for the whole folder in system...

Install games with big obb files directly to External SD through Play Store
1.)Download and install the Xposed Installer and install the Xposed Framework. (http://repo.xposed.info/module/de.robv.android.xposed.installer)
2.)After the installation and reboot, open Xposed Installer
2.)Select 'Download'
3.)Download the module XInternalSD by pyler.
4.)Enable the module in Xposed's module page
5.)Now open XInternalSD
6.)Select 'Path to insternal SD card'
7.)Enter '/storage/sdcard1/ without the quotes
8.)Close it
9.) Download NextApp SDFix from the Play Store and follow the instructions to apply the patch.
10.)Once it's done, reboot
11.)After the reboot, obb files will automatically be downloaded to the External SD and apps will save all their data in the External card, thereby saving internal storage

Not worked bro.I have done successfully upto 8 steps. When i install the app' NextApp SDFix' it says ''No Action Required as I have write access to SD card''.Then after the reboot the games doesn't download directly to my sd card they are downloading in my Internal Storage only(I have tried Dead Trigger2 and some other games)..I have attached the picture below.i have rooted my phone. Please Help Required Urgently...
Edit: Another thing is the app( NextApp SDFix ) doesn't take the root access i mean that the prompting of the root access doesn't appear on my screen.

this is for nokia x2 users who can't use link2sd and don't want to modify their partitions.
first of all you should be rooted and have luckypatcher installed.
then do this steps:
1-open luckypatcher and hit toolbox.
2-swipe down to the end of the menu and choose "select default install location " and then choose "installation to external media like SD card " then close luckypatcher .
3- go to settings>Apps>then choose the app you want to move to sdcard and press it.
4-then press "move to sdcard" and wait untill it's done then go to luckypatcher again and go to the menu in step 1 and 2 but this time choose the default install location as "installation to auto location decided by Android os" to install apps normally and done.
Note:it works only with stock rom as cm11 deosn't have move to sdcard option.

Ok perfect. It worked. But how do i test its functionality? I use swiftkey and now downloaded languages show "unable to load languages" even i have tried re downloading it.
EDIT: It works as per guidelines provided by @x2wolf. The problem was that Swiftkey languages were downloaded on sdcard (Phone memory) . Later when the xinternal module was enabled for sdcard1 it was missing language file. What i did is re-downloaded all language packs (not just english) and voila! it worked. Same goes for other apps as well. Though it doesnt give huge space but saves a little bit of MB's for you. Superbackup , Better Camera are all set to save data on Phone memory but actually are saved on sdcard1 (memory card)
