Tried this ? http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/app-multisim-toggle-t2830647
1. Use auto record app from play store . it has a red call icon ... Works good and uploads to Google drive as he said.
2. Download call blacklist again red icon . it is simple add number for blacklist and no calls .
Note . SMS won't work from android 4.0+
3. There are apps on playstor for shutdown and on . u can use DU battery saver (download pro from other sites ) and set all stuff like timings on off...
4. Sim management is application for ur 4th question ,...
Thank me if I helped u

Not sure if this has been mentioned before.
I tried the following web page instructions for SGIIS and it added in the SIP VOIP

Just confirmed it works! received voip call instantly via voip number! Awsome... Hate how cool features like this are left out from the stock builds... Lucky for all of us android is so open
2 microphones work?
If not, better to use CsipSimple..

How can I have confirmation that the stack was succesfully applied?
When I place a phone call through the default dialer with Wi-Fi on I don't get asked how to do it.
Dont have my Note yet, but already subscribing here, just in case

No, it doesn't belong in development, it belongs in general, as there is no original content created by the OP.
It does work but uses the mic at the top of the hand set, so sounds very quite. Anyone know how to resolve this?

By default, the native Android SIP stack only allows for VoIP calls placed via Wifi (it seems that even the mighty G from mountain view bowed to the telecom operators), but there is a way to enable support for VoIP calls via 3G as well:
- You need to modify your framework-res.apk to enable SIP over 3G by editing the xml file "res\values\bools.xml" and setting the parameter for "config_sip_wifi_only" to false.

But in the "framework-res.apk" there is no section "res \ values \".
Is it possible there is another way to run a VOIP by GSM?

Ok. I found "bools.xml". I have a problem with compiling "framework-res.apk" only.

Nope it wasn't, but as soon as I removed the XML the Phone section came back. Anybody else got this issue?
Have you guys tried GrooVe IP? Google announced that they are doing free calls through 2012. It uses Google's Gmail and Google Voice's services.
I use my Note with GrooVe IP and GV with a Data SIM card from a iPad. Could not be happier. Call quality has been great, it sits in the back ground and has been great on the battery.
CsipSimple
CsipSimple not working properly at the Galaxy Note with ICS system.
To the SIP server is connected properly. When I call, the phone switches to silent mode and vibration. Rings only once and then stopped.
Works OK for me

Settings->Voice input and output->Text-to-speech settings-> Driving mode checked
Settings->Voice input and output->Text-to-speech settings-> Driving mode settings: You can select here which notifications are read aloud
in latest midnote 3.2 ICS u can also set caller ID on sanity settings
'Call announcer' is nice.
Announcify is also nice. It's open source too (source on GitHub).
It can read out caller ID for phone calls, SMS/MMS, e-mail, etc…
I have a Nokia n73 as well! ! good camera phone for its time! !
Hi,
I'm based in the UK and using a rooted N4 w/ ParanoidAndroid 2.99.
I was a long-time user of MIUI and loved the built-in blacklist app that came with that rom - what is the best external app for blocking calls?
There is an internal way of sending calls from a particular contact to voicemail.
In other words a call blacklist from the "people" app.
Open People app
Open the contact you want yo black list
Click the option menu
Select "All calls to Voicemail"
When that person calls, it blocks and sends to voicemail automatically.

This is easily Root Call Blocker:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=fahrbot.apps.rootcallblocker.beta
Ive used two years not cant get enough. Works well on all phones ive got, n4 no exception.
I opted for Root Call Blocker.
My only criticism is that it's a little fiddly to add items to block list?

They are running a beta that's supposed to increase usability like a hybrid between rcb and their call master app - which is waaaay too complex for my brain - you can sign up in the thread in apps and games... Search for it, I can't coined it right now.
Hello.
Sorry to ask such a basic question but I'm without my pc for over a week now and can't find the answer by searching from my phone.
I need to extend the duration of the ring of an incoming call, before it diverts to voicemail as unanswered.
There used to be settings in the call menu but I can't seem to find them anymore. I'm on latest stock ROM, 4.3.
Please could anyone help?
Thank you.

What u can do is disable/modify ur voicemail. U can do that calling ur Company brand. In Spain u can dial ##002# and disable it automatically.
http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/blog/2009/03/make-your-phone-ring-for-longer-before-going-to-voicemail/
Did this recently and it works, but remember, the maximum is 30 seconds.

Thanks for your help. I want to keep voicemail though.
The next response will do the job, but I remember a setting in the menu from a previous revision of Android on my last phone. Wondered if we still had that.
Cheers.

Shame that there doesn't seem to be a setting in the menu.
I ran CM on my last phone and I thought the menu had a setting to adjust the length of time.

Ok..
So, it has a manual function (key) for recording calls.
But, it doesn't play the recordings? Asks for root for playing those?
If It is .amr file then it can be played by normal music players
There are many ways to play that recording. No root access is needed. One of the simple way is to install ES file explorer and play that file using any audio player e.g. google play music.
hit thanx or like post if helpful.

inbuilt featue is not automatic
The inbuilt recording feature is not automatic. Amd it also produce beeps while recording. The best solutin is install free app from google play store named: ACR Automatic call recorder. Its the best and doesnt records dialing or ringing sounds. it records only the conversation. Lot of facilities too like save the recording, sorting datewise etc.
I dont think that third party call recording works in Yureka without root.
The inbuilt call recording needs to be enabled on a call to call basis.
Any tweaks for this?
Edit:
Solution: Use Smart Auto Call Recorder
