[Q] few Roms fpr Galaxy Tab 7.7?

I changed from Samsung Galaxy S2 to Samsung Galaxytab 7.7 3G.
In xda-developers forum there are many Roms (Custom and Stock) for the S2 but only a few for the Galaxy Tab 7.7.
What is the reason for this?
Will there be more roms if ICS for Galaxy Tab 7.7 is out?
I dont understand why there are only a few roms for this really great TAB
I think because it is such a new product and also development is focussed on ICS and there is a fair amount of work to port from CM9 from other devices and build a working rom with no issues.
It is close though! I can't wait.
The custom tweaked and stock v3 is soon to be released and if anything like v2 it will be even better and run very well.
Lets support our devoted devs!!!
The answer probably is:
GS II sold a ton of devices (10 millions at least) and was brought to Us early
GT 7.7 is selling few devices and in Us came only trough verizon few time ago

[Official] Samsung Best Smartphone 2012 VOTE!!!!!!!

Hi everyone.
What Samsung Smartphone is the best the Galaxy Note 2 or the Galaxy S3?
Chose the best for you. And post why you select that smartphone.
At the end of year we will see the results.

I voted Galaxy S3 for the following reasons:
It is the perfect size
and other stuff
The reason I did not favour the Note 2 is it is way to big for my liking.

S3. Much more development on the s3 then note 2 , perfect size and perfect weight. Just wait for an S4.
I'd love to swap my SGS3 on Note2. Or Nexus 4 with expandable memory (or 32GB variant...)
My vote goes to the Samsung Galaxy Nexus thanks to the better software and opensource Texas Instruments attitude...
(yes, I recently DOWNGRADED from a i9250 to an i9300 )
The s3 of course, because the Note 2 is too large to be used as a daily smartphone :/
I hope they dont make the galaxy s4 larger than the s3
Try asking in a general forum next time, not an S3 forum.

[Q] Samsung Captivate

My dad has a Samsung captivate(SGH-i897)(captivatemtd)(AT&T version of the original Galaxy S), currently running an official cm11 build.
I see that you don't support it (don't blame ya), but I also see that you support the Galaxy S (i9000).
The specs look identical to me... is it possible that the Galaxy S build would work on his Captivate?
Sorry, I'm new to this.
Thanks though!

even if it was, it wont be able to use the ROMs or kernels available here and doesn't fit into this forum.
Joke of the year!
No, the I9500 is far better and more powerful than the N9500.

From what I can tell, kitkatkiller seems to have their own website and they only seem to be supporting the Galaxy Note 2, 3 and Galaxy S3 phones. You mentioned you are owning the Samsung Galaxy Exhibit phone, while this is the Galaxy S4 section. And as far as I know, the Exhibit is not an S4 phone.
