I was having some issues with a couple of apps force closing, so I ran the "fix permissions" utility via ROM Manager. Well, that managed to completely kill my Market app. It force closes on startup now. I've tried clearing the Market cache and data from the Applications system menu. Anything else I can try? Is it possible to uninstall and re-install the market app?
I managed to fix this. I dropped into recovery and cleared both the cache and the dalvik cache. After rebooting, my market started working again.
Hello,
I've recently updated to the T-Mobile LG G2 4.4 Android and I think that since then, the Accessibility menu in settings does not work. It's not crucial as I don't really use it that much, but I want to disable the On-Screen-Phone feature so that the hotword detection in GEL would work.
I've tried rebooting, clearing its data/cache, clearing settings cache, uninstalling GEL... always the same result.
Any ideas? I don't have root, this is the official update.
Same problem on my AT&T D800

I have the same problem, worked with At&T, they called LG, LG suggested a new phone. Sent me a new (likely reconditioned) phone. Upgraded it to Kit Kat, Accessibility available for a while, then it stopped just like yours. On my previous phone, I did a factory reset several times at Kit Kat, and it worked for a while, then it stopped. Wonder if others have this problem. Maybe have to wait for a software update.
I have found out what is causing this on my phone

After doing many factory resets, and then installing my normal apps, and checking Accessibility after each, it appears that in my case it is installing Llama Profiles that causes the problem. I have tested this twice and after each Llama installation, Accessibility give me the error message.
Did you install Llama? Thanks.

Yes I did install Llama, so it's probably that (can't try it right now). However, since I've cleared the cache/data for the Accessibility app by itself, the hotword detection now works (since that has reset the Accessibility app's settings). And since I need Llama more than the Accessibility app, I'll just keep it as it is for now
Thanks a ton!

I have alerted the developer of the problem.
I have this issue on my D802 - factory reset didn't help! Since I'm unrooted and many apps actually use this - I'm in dire need of helpf
Hi. I know this is an old tread but if someone can help me please.
I'm having the same problem.
Is there a fix to this problem.
I do not have llama installed on my phone.
I'm a root user, Titanium Backup installed and that's the second time i flash Android 5.0 and after a while i got this error. Tried factory reset, wipe data, wipe cache/dalvik and didn't worked out.
Tried entering in Safe Mode and the error is persistent.
Is there something i can do?
I'm using GalaxyS4 Settings for Froyo~JB (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ion.setting) and with it i'm able to got into some of my settings, but the stock app doesn't work by itself.
Is there some way of flashing the stock Settings app again?
Another weird thing is that my SPen does not take screenshots anymore and that only happens with Android L (5.0).
So tonight I tried the new Cm13 that got updated, doing a full wipe. All went good after a bit of testing, finding that the camera bug I already knew about was there, but after installing a few of my apps that I had before at the same time I tried installing some unofficial ones from .apks, Google Services Framework started crashing and my launcher, Trebuchet also did, so as the settings when I tried getting into the apps screen to try wiping data and cache for the settings app. So I got stuck there. Luckily I had a backup and succesfully restored to my last ROM with most of my data back. I did try anything I could think of to stop the crashing, except flashing another Gapps package. I did try reflashing the same with no success to fix the crashes. On the thread it recommended the Nano package because that provided you with the option to hold home button to Screen Search...
Thank you for any answers. BTW I also tried wiping those apps data trough Titanium Backup with no succes, again. :crying:
How do I stop Google Framework Services and settings (when entering app management screen) from crashing?

After updating the LG-H873 to Oreo, I am now experiencing the settings screen opening randomly. I don't even have to be touching the phone and the settings screen opens up. Has anyone else had this issue and if so, is there a fix? Thanks in advance.
It was a clean update? Also, have you tried clean all the app caches and system cache?
This was a clean install. After Oreo was installed, I reset the phone to factory default and then reinstalled my apps. I also cleared the cache.
I didn't even get an Oreo update. Nani?
