- battery icon didnt show 'thunder sign' when in charging mode, sometime got
- i enabled battery percentage but 10 seconds after that it disappeared
- what is the suitable battery saver apps for this rom
- i notice that battery taking too long to get full after install gennxt
- overall the rom made is awesome thanks to developer
- there is wifi problem but i am able to find it myself in this forum, tq tq tq

Bro there is no rom that is ever made that can be as stable as the stock ! And presently we don't have any good custom rom in grand 2 so I wud suggest u to go back to stock
i understand.. just like wifi problem and now solve.. i open this thread bcoz didnt find same problem as me..
and i believe the pros and expert has the answer soon..

Wanna say that its a gr8 ROM....very stable and fast...overall a gr8 show...
But m having a problem in my HTC HD2 wherein, it is getting reboot again and again (and again) once I connect to WIFI and start browsing/market/sync etc.
Pls. advice if there is any solution to this as its very annoying.....

hey mates.i'm an X8 user. My X8 has 2.1.1.C.0.0 i want to get rid of 2.1 and try 2.2 and 2.3 roms...i want you to give me some ideas which rom to try on...i want app2sd native of course cause in 2.1 i have a partition with all my apps radio and no reboots ! is there any rom that fullfil my standards? even VGA cam i don't mind !
I can safely recommend FroyoBread for 2.2 it is Very Stable and Fast and lots of Gingerbread Customizations
it got some bugs like but nothing MAJOR

If you can live with that, and this ROM is Good for you, Battery life really depends on how you use you're phone, i can get atleast 2days on medium use.

I've just been given this phone by a friend who has just upgraded to a Galaxy S2. I'm running a HTC Sensation myself but the handset looks like it should still be a useful upgrade for my daughter if I could get a custom ROM on it.
Almost all the DL links from the DEV sub-section seem down though. I did get Jazzman's ROM eventually but can anyone still playing with this device tell me if this is a good, bad or indifferent ROM to try. I don't want to waste time installing a bad'un.
I see from reading other threads that all custom ROMs seemed to have inherited a camera bug which could be partially fixed by reinstalling the default camera app (but no settings are ever saved). Did anyone ever get beyond that or did folks simply get newer phones and move on?
Lastly, if anyone still has a few of the old ROMS DL'd on their computer (Artos' anyone??) and could upload them somewhere for me and others to get access again, then that would be great.
Hoping someone can help. It's definitely too good to be binning it without trying something.....

Hey Crommy, did you upgrade to the latest stock rom? That really soves most of the issues with the device and is quite decent by itself.

there is no latest stock rom for me, i was using a EN-AR Rom B, the latest one is C with no Arabic support , so i downloaded brain master Manila , its Great !, it hangs 80 % less than the old one, Plus its faster,only issue found is the twitter tab when i login it says you are forbidden to use these account, at desktop and mobile browser the account logins normally.
do you have any idea how to install Arabic lang support for reading massages and contacts names?

The issue i am facing is that when i restart my phone the time and date gets changed.. I have to change it to again to the current time and date..
Is there any cmos battery ion the phone that takes care of the clock settings just like we have one in the computers?

Everything works fine,..its fast, its stable, its got MOTO BLUR,....everything i would want on my Defy. But i really dislike the Battery Icon, i prefer the Original one and i need to know how i can get it back....Please help!!!

i am not quite sure and not a developer but i think you could. maybe with some .zip. ive seen other zip's that were used for changing the status bar icons - but for an other ROM. why not message walter and ask him , he always helps
You could try "cooking" a theme with just the battery icon you like from the Ultimate Online Theme Kitchen.

a) Suppose if I want to update my Froyo 2.2.2 to MS2ginger, then in this case whose Nandroid backup has to be taken & how it is taken?
b) Secondly should I use fixed sbf of Froyo or MS2giner ?
