Don't rotate after some Xposed modules - Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi
I have a problem with rotate screen.
I installed wannam and gravity box xposed modules. I activated that can rotate on lock screen and (in other menu) want to rotate in any direction, also inverted.
I think it was at that moment but I am not 100% sure.
I tried to disable all xposed modules, but the problem is still there.
Before to factory reset... What can I do?
Thanks

Yes some of them. Why?
I saw that autorotate only works on camera apps, not only samsung's camera app, also works on procapture or evernote camera.
But no other app on my phone autorotate

Because the landscape mode is connected to Samsung Hub, and when you uninstall it, the function doesn't work anymore.

[Q] Wallpaper changes on reboot after installing Xposed

I just installed Xposed (Greenify, GravityBox, and G2 Exposed modules) and have noticed that each time I reboot, the homescreen wallpaper changes to some default LG wallpaper. Anyone else have this problem? I"m getting tired of changing it back to what I want. The lockscreen wallpaper doesn't change, btw.
Actually, GravityBox isn't even working correctly right now, but this wallpaper issue existed when I got the other two modules before it.

Most probably you are greenifying what you shouldn't.
Check if you are not having in your greenified apps something that could have to do something with the wallpaper. (System UI parts, live wallpaper things, lwp etc...)

Can't get GravityBox to work yet. How did you get it to work? Lockscreen wallpaper isn't an issue, though.

I turned off Greenify module and still same issue. What's funny is that I got Greenify app before I had Xposed ( didn't even know what it was until recently).

Greenify works without xposed. Uninstall it and reboot and reboot.
Many apps are like this...
Changes persistent after unticking them...

Hey it worked! Hmm so does that mean I can't use Greenify then? Before I only selected apps and nothing regarding System UI parts.

Ah right. Ok.
So if Greenify doesn't require Xposed to work, that means I don't have to activate it in Xposed?

Well it will can work evoking the root rights, but I think not all of the functions will work from it. Would be better have it still in the Xposed.
Just find the culprit app and degreenify it.

Actually I don't think the problem is really Greenify.
I installed it again, changed nothing (ie did no activate in Xposed or hibernate apps), rebooted, and saw that same default wallpaper come up. Then I opened up an app (Facebook) and the wallpaper I wanted re-appeared. Not sure what's going on, but opening up an app seems to set things straight.

Xblast tools doesn't fully work for me, only few options are working. Do I need to disable touchwiz on on Note 3 N9005?
Cannot select color setting for any of the options/menus. Tried to set customize test in status bar but doesn't work.
GravityBox is amazing, but it is for vanilla/aosp roms, and definitely not for Samsung phones.
I'd recommend Wanam Xposed, Boot Manager, App Settings (read if you need it), Greenify, and Xposed GEL Settings if you use Google Now Launcher

[REQ] Flashlight/Torch from lockscreen

Hi,
I am coming from an iPhone and have just switched to the S5, loving it so far.
One thing that I am missing is the ability to switch on the flashlight from the lockscreen without unlocking the phone, like it can be done with the iphone.
Is there a tweak/widget for the lockscreen that I can install? I don't want to use Xposed, as it breaks s-health.
TIA,
dirk
I can't help you with your specific problem but i have installed xposed Framework on my rooted 900F and s-health runs. Dunno... Hm. I have disabled knox so far.

No, doesnt work. As you are from Germany, I think may I ask which firmware you are on? As I have a T-Mobile branded phone but have flashed the EUR firmware.

This is not what I want, as for unlocking the device I then need to press power, swipe up to unlock and then swipe again to read my fingerprint.
I just would like a button on my touchwiz lockscreen for the flashlight. There must be a way to get widgets on toouchwiz, as the IR Remote app can show the widget for the remote,
Is this what you're looking for?!

He don't want to use xposed as it breaks s-health. from what I can tell though my s-health works fine with xposed as long you keep to stock version not the updated s-health

Screen not Auto-rotating

Hi all -
My recently rooted S4 is running stock 4.4.2, and is set to auto-rotate in settings. However, the screen will not rotate in any app. Any ideas ?
Many thanks!
Have you installed any third party apps for modifying settings? Like xposed framework with either gravity box or wanam xposed?
On some roms you can disable its ability to rotate certain directions. Maybe you disabled all the directions so even though auto rotate is on it won't rotate?
Thanks guys - no on both counts. ..
Have resolved the issue with the Adaptive Rotation Lock app. Still don't know what caused it though.

Fullscreen apps not working

I have a problem with the apps not going fullscreen when I enable that option in settings. The only way too have the apps in fullscreen is by enabling gestures. I'm using nova launcher but it's the same thing with Samsung launcher.

You need to go into settings /display / full screen apps and enable each one you want.
You need to take it off auto.
Already said that I've tried that and it doesn't work.

You said you enabled it in settings, that is vague as you can enable it in settings yet you still have to take it off of auto on each individual application.
It's working fine for you? I think I need to do a reset.
Sent from my LG-H930 using Tapatalk
I did reset but still not working. Also edge lighting doesn't work. Maybe the phone is faulty? What can I do?
Went to a shop that was displaying the S10+ and tried to see if it's working but it's the same.
