Can I have encryption and xposed? - Galaxy S 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I do not have this phone yet, I'm just planning ahead.
From my reading I see that you can't encrypt a already rooted phone but if you encrypt first then use Towel Root it does work. I want to know a little more. Can I do the following in this order and have it all work together at the same time.
1: Encrypt the phone
2: Root with Towelroot
3: Have supersu disable knox so xposed can work
4: Use root to change it so I have separate unlock and encryption passwords
5: Install xposed framework and ad blocking
I mainly need to know if the need to disable knox for xposed is going to turn off encryption or if it should stay since it is already setup. Like it does for basic root.

American locked bootloader hide root issues

hope i am not violating any forum rules here, as i know how strict they can be. I am not a noob in this area, ive rooted and flashed all my phones since my droid x on. I miss my s-off HTC so bad. I did 5 minutes of research and thought all Galaxy S7s were bootloader/recovery unlockable...only to find out the american versions arent after im stuck with s Sprint SM-G930P. I was able to root and install xposed with the engineer boot.img and odin. Since TWRP or recovery isnt an option I have tried for months to systemless root this thing to hide root and pass safetynet. Ive tried flashfire to flash SU systemless 2.78SR5 and root switch and am on android 6.0.1 PE1 firmware following guides here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/sprint-galaxy-s7/how-to/sm-g930p-root-t3410604 but after factory reseting and trying Rootswitch (will hide exposed but not root with flashfire installing it since bootloader lock doesnt allow TWRP) I piddled with magisk but I am not on the Equinox unlockable s7 and am just at a loss here. Any one out there know of a way to hide root with this version of S7? Im out of ideas and any help here is appreciated. When i flashfire Supersu i get the locked out modified boot img error, but selecting AP and flashing the engineer boot img will get me back up rooted but root switch is a no go. I can use buildprop/rootzwitch to set selinux permissive sstatus but still fail. I refuse to let samsung not let me root my phone properly. I ser xposed modules like snorlax being updated so there seems to be a way to use xposed modules in PoGo while hiding root/xpised but every guide i see leads to TWRP instructions. Can i adb/terminal install magisk/rootswitch? and stiil use modules? (Cart before the horse question seeing as right now i cant bypass safetynet.) HELP!!
Have you made any more progress with this by chance?

How can I get Airwatch to work when rooted? xposed, unwatch, Magisk confusion

I just rooted my phone and trying to get Airwatch to not detect root. I saw a thread for Unwatch and was following root guide to install xposed, but that makes airwatch crash, and then I read if xposed is installed it wont work.
Then something mentioned Magisk. Now Im not sure what that is but then something else said you need xposed for magisk?
So I'm going in circles and not sure where to go from here.

OP5 fails security check

Hello,
I have two apps that fail some security check and doesn't want to launch on a brand new OnePlus5
One banking app tells me I'm rooted
And a game says I have rooted or modified device.
I did not root my device. It's like out of the box.
I have turn off USB debugging and developers options.
I have been told to install Magisk to hide root but my phone is not rooted and it seems I have to root it in order to install Magisk. Which I don't want.
How is it that those app fail security check?
What can I can do to pass it?
Thank you guys
Lock the bootloader

ROFL omg incomplete info if you're not aware.... IF you relock the bootloader make sure you do not have a custom recovery installed. you MUST have STOCK recovery BEFORE you relock the bootloader. If you lock the bootloader with custom recovery, you'll brick your phone.
With that said, you should be able to install Magisk and pass the safety check. If not, then the Magisk dev with apps are failing and he may fix that in an update.
had the same situation, because I used supersu for root before I switched to magisk.
I solved it this way:
1. run unsu-script (https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=63615067)
2. flash magisk
3. hide it for the banking app, playstore and google service framework
4. reboot
5. done

If you unlocked the bootloader you will fail security check as other member said. If your bootloader is locked you might want to go into the Play Store settings and see if your device shows up as certified. If not go into settings / applications and clear all data for Play Store then reboot your phone. When you log back into the Play Store the status should change to certified.

Throwback to engineermode

Back when engineeringmode was a big deal because of security concerns, i took advantage of it and rooted my oneplus 5 with magisk installed. This root did not go away with updates until android pie, though i had to reload magisk every reboot. In this latest update, *#808# root test says that i still have root, but i cannot load magisk and thus, cannot use root. Is there anyway to make it so that the I can regain root without unlocking bootloader and wiping?
cheers

Need help to replace SuperSU (Removed by google protect) with something else!

I rooted my Note3 years ago, don't even remember steps. I was using SuperSU.chainfire to select what apps can have root access.
Google protect removed that software without my permission. Maybe it's not safe to not have anything restricting root access on a rooted phone!? Can someone please tell me what app i need to use to replace supersu or what step I need to take?
Magisk systemless root
