Is this actually tested on any Xperia with Jelly Bean? I'd be highly surprised if it'd work. I don't have the possibility to restore my phone to factory images right now, otherwise I'd try it out myself.
I doubt it works too
Can someone try this ? Perhaps NTT Docomo users?
This is a BAD copy of my Root many Android script, the user just changed the scriptname without having any shame.
I reported this as a kang of my work. It DOES NOT work on Xperia Z too!

Need help!
Who can help? How to install ROOT on SGP321 build 10.1.1.A.253 ?
Suitable ROM for SO-03E
Hello,
I have a Japanese version of the Sony XTZ (SO-03E) with 32gb, wifi, 4G LTE, 1Seg tv tuner (?).
I have been searching for a suitable firmware to flash over the stock. The Cyanogenmod firmwares fail to install through CWM due to the difference in hardware numbers (all of the CM 10 pollux builds are coded for the european units it would seem). Clockworkmod just states that I don't have the SGP### model.
Any guidance for the ROM you have listed or a point in the right direction?
Thanks,
Devices:
HP Touchpad 32gb firesale running CM9 ICS
Sony Xperia Tablet Z (SO-03E) running stock Sony/Docomo FW .269 :crying:
CM10 for Tablet Z WiFi SGP311
I have been looking all over for a working root and recovery that will run CM10 for this thing and I cant believe there is NOTHING out there.
I did find a 1 click root solution that worked, but the only recovery I could find that would even boot up was some strange duel recovery that did'nt even work with CM10... Ugggg...
Anyone else have any luck with this tablet?
Hey, I'm a new Xperia tablet Z user...
So I'm going to build my ROM for Xperia tablet Z (LTE), But the problem is that I don't know much about the Xperia devices... As what I can see is that xperia tablet Z is using same CPU, GPU and Qualcomm Snapdragon APQ8064 as nexus 4...
But confusing part is the recovery. Isn't it possible to use recovery as recovery.img instead of including it into the zImage...? I don't want to break anything so I am not going to mess with this device.

Hi, i try to install the adb driver for my xperia tablet z manually (windows 8 64bit) but i dont know wich one is the right one...
I have a "Sony sa0101/Sony sa0103/Sony sa0105 and Sony sa0106/7/8/9) 7 different drivers...
With my Xperia Z i found a Guide wich Driver to use, with my Tablet z there is no guide wich driver to use...
I hope someone can Help... thx in advance
EDIT: Driver is "Sony sa0107"
If you have Problems with the ADB Driverinstall on Windows 8 use option to manually select drivers from the list on your Computer and look for ony sa0107

You won't find that here. Still.
Secondly, how many more times, and in how many more threads are you going to ask this question??
You have already been given a few suggestions as to what might work, but you have failed to give any feedback as to whether they do. So I can only assume you haven't tried it And you expect somebody else to do all the hard work and testing for you.

Sony Adding ‘Move to SD’ Feature Via KitKat Updates
Sony has been busy crunching and pushing out the promised KitKat updates to its arsenal of Android smartphones out there. While the updates come out in waves, and reach a group of handsets at a time, users have notice one big change in the Applications Manager settings; apps can now be moved to the SD card.

It's not great news. They will make us wait few more MONTHS "testing" that sh*t. I'll grow old and die waiting for L while the world enjoys Z :v
Anyways, even if by magic, they release 5.1 soon, no 5.1 for me unless xPosed supports it.

I am on 5.0.2 stock and never saw a bug crawling anywhere, I dunno how did you find it buggy. It's smooth as butter and I'm running about 300 apps and loads of xposed modules. But yeah, that "400% performance increase" cuz of ART runtime is bullsh*t. Performance is same as that of KK, rather the installation time of apps has almost doubled due to ART sh*t and they take up more space after installation and there are compatibility problems due to ART as well, so it's more of a PITA, I would prefer having dalvik but it has been shoved off forever.
I have been waiting so long for Lollipop...But its being delayed every now and then...like WTH ......Now one more wait hoping it will come.....
By the way, I heard someone saying MOTO devices will get lifetime updates from Google ??It is true??
Anyways how much LIFETIME will Lollipop take God Knows

Will get xperia z3+ android 7.0? What do you think?
Dont know what they changed but its the same security patch level like 224 FW 1.April 2016. You can dirty flash only system partition until the patch script for new kernel is there. debloat script from 224 works fine http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z4/general/debloat-z3-z4-224-fw-t3399672

Any Change log available for this upcoming update??
Customized US/IT/RU/CH/SG/DE rolled out. Anyone who updated his phone?
Does it have Xperia X UI / Smart Cleaner?
Hi, looking into xperiFirm about italian customizedIT firmware, and noticed that is present the last version 32.2.A.0.253/R9C
My phone, instead, is on 32.2.A.0.224 / R4C with a different number of Customization(CDF):
- mine is 1295-6968_R4C
- instead XperiFirm customizedIT is 1295-7868_R9C
Someone could explain me if I can flash the customizedIT ftf on my phone, without brick it?
Which are the differences about these two version of firmware?
EDIT: Today I've connected phone to my PC, using Xperia Companion new firmware result and I've updated my phone to latest version.

Installed it last night - can't see anything major differences yet - not in the menu or anywhere else. Will see if battery life is any better.

Same for me.
Also I have noticed battery life a little better. :highfive:
In any case, system it's stable and fluid. I don't have problem with my SBH50 bluetooth stereo headset, so no differences for me about this.
But, if Sony fix bugs and improved battery life, in my opinion is still a great thing :good:

Hi. With Lollipop Z3+ can record 4K video more than 40 minutes without any warning notifications(I tested it). If anybody tested Z3+ with Marshmallow (new firmware 32.2.A.0.305) version in 4K camera mode please let me know how long it can stay.
