I was playing a video podcast on my JVC car stereo via bluetooth earlier. After stopping for 5 minutes I started the car again, waited for the phone to reconnect to the car stereo bluetooth , then resumed playback of the podcast. This time there was no audio playback through the car stereo, and I couldn't do anything to get it to work again. I tried rebooting the phone (twice) but despite appearing to connect successfully to the JVC unit there is no audio playback.
Can anyone suggest anything else to try? I'm running Phoenix ROM v9.4 (Android 4.4.2).

Greetings I try playing music via the Itech bluetooth capable headphone, (not headset) I have successfully paired it and all, i also had set it to stereo mode, here comes the problem, when i try to play via the player all i would hear is the start of the music maybe for 1.5 seconds then... nothing, music continues to play on the phone but there is no sound coming from the phone nor the headphones. I already tried different ROMS but to no avail same result so i am thinking it is not the ROMS I tried the tomal and lucathebig ROMS, I am stuck i don't know how I could do this help please? thanks.
I am quite sure that my bluetooth is not broken since I could pair with the pc and also the headphones
ok, I tried to switch off the bluetooth headphones while the music was playing and the music continues to play on the uni's speakers, so it means that the music is playing only it is not streaming to the headphones. Any help or idea will be appreciated
Hello.
I am using my S4 in car.
It connects at same time to my car hands free (Audi MMI) with Call Audio profile and it connects to my A2DP Music receiver (connected to my car IPOD cable) using A2DP profile.
This dongle supports also Call Audio profile but I have paired it using only A2DP.
Connections are good and phone always connect to both without connection issues.
Sometimes (often) when it is connected to both devices, music and sound stop playing (the player is going on with playing and with time counter but I can't hear any sound from car or from phone speaker).
If I disconnect car hands free, music starts playing from car audio speakers.
If I reconnect car hands free again, music stops playing.
When this happen, the only way I found to solve is to restart the phone and then all is ok (phone hands free and music streaming).
I have the problem with 4.3 but it was the same also with previuos 4.2.2 android version.
I think it is a phone problem since restarting always solve it.
Someone had the same problem or has any advice?
Thank you
Chris
I have a JVC KD-R821BT bluetooth car stereo paired to my S4. Everything is paired up fine, but when playing audio from the phone through the JVC unit there are frequent drop outs - i.e. a 3-second silence every minute or so. It happens with any app (e.g. Google Play Music, BeyondPod).
I don't have this problem when using the phone with a Parrot Mki9100 in our other car, so presumably the issue is related to the JVC unit.
Has anyone else had this sort of problem??
Hi all,
I'm having trouble with my Bluetooth.
I use it as a music player when I'm in the car, I do heaps of kilometres.
I stream music through my car stereo.
Lately the Bluetooth seems to be shutting off after some time. Yet the music player seems to keep playing.
I think my Bluetooth is faulty.
Any body have any ideas?
As it is rooted my warranty is void, so I am thinking of disassembling and reflowing the Bluetooth area.
The same happens to me.
I'm listening to music in my BT headset and suddenly the BT freezes and the BT headset tell me it disconnected (LG Tone Pro 750)
after that I need to restart because I cannot reset the BT anyhow.
mine is HP version Slate 7 extreme (android 4.4.2) just taken out of the box.
please help!
fixed
sorted.
Looks like it was rocket player not bluetooth.
I get no bluetooth track info using my ZE155KL. No track name, no time elapsed, nothing.
Another bluetooth issue I'm having with my car audio system is that if I pause the music I'm playing in PowerAmp or a podcast that I'm playing in Pocket Casts for more than 10 seconds or so, it becomes necessary to restart the bluetooth connection on both my phone and my car's audio system before I can hear the audio playing again.
I have no issues with bluetooth playback with my bluetooth headphones, and my Moto G had no issues with bluetooth meta data using the same car audio system.
