only pin and password lock is working....but other are not usable...this problem occur i use xolo switch app.. now i deactivated it but still i cant use other locks.....this very serious problem for me ...i cant type pin every time i lock my device...this very difficult...if anyone knows about its solution please help me.

I have problem with lockscreen and locked phone.
When phone is in standby and locked and I'm trying to unlock it, it hangs in lockscreen. I can move slider to unlock phone but nothing happens and it just stays locked.
This happens sometime few times in one day and sometimes is everything ok for a week. When this happens I have to take out battery and put it back in and it's very very annoying.
Is there something to fix this problem?

simple..just set a password at ur x2..and then,hola..it will not happen again..its also happen to me last time..almost everyday..

Me simple installed android lockscreen, nice looking one, but no landscape(no problem for me), just search this forum if ya want
You can solved this problem by go to Start>Settings>Auto Lock> uncheck Enable Auto Lock. I have the same hang out like your. This way helpful for me. When you need to lock your phone just Start and tap on Clock icon.

I installed a custom ROM a few days back and it was working fine for a while then I had a problem where Home button did not function & Lock screen did not appear.
I found a fix to this problem here on XDA in the below thread:

The original problem got fixed but after this I am not able to enable GPS at all, any attempt to enable GPS is giving me FC, don't know what's the reason for it.
If anyone has seen similar problem & were able to fix, please can you share the solution.

I have a samsung galaxy chat , yesterday i turned wifi hot spot on , the phone rebooted and opened with a lock screen password
the password is the one that i made for hot spot , phone shows "emergency calls only" with the carrier name on top .
please help me to remove the lock screen password , it s a long one and i have to type it everytime i want to use the phone
btw phone works normaly ish ...a bit laggy after i type the password.
hot spot turned off
no other security passwords
is there any way to remove this ? / except hard reset

From your post i understand the following.
=>You have a Galaxy chat
=>You turned wifi hotspot on and then it immediately rebooted and when you try to open your phone you have to enter the wifi hotspot password
Am i correct?
What you want to do is you want to remove the lock screen password?

Has anyone figured out how to disable the requirement for pin when the phone reboots. This is extremely annoying. I have looked thru the settings but cant find it. So even if you have a fingerprint to unlock the phone it requires a pin or password to log in.
Settings>lock screen and security>protect encrypted data?

When I try to slide to unlock my Nexus 4 it restarts automatically. I've tried to click settings, wifi and any other shortcut but the result is the same.
It could be a display problem or not?
