Hi,for some reasons I can't get Odin to work properly.I have B5510JPKJ4 firmware and I want to install it into my samsung Galaxy Y Pro gt-b5510.
Is there any solution to convert this firmaware into .zip or something else to make it installable through SD Card?
The firmware got these 3 files:
DefaultCalDataWithBoot_B5510JXKJ1_REV03.tar.md5
FOTA_AP_B5510JPKJ4.tgz
FOTA_CSC_B5510OJPKJ1.tgz
Or can I simply add .tgz files into SD Card and install them through recovery mode?

Did you used stock recovery or cwm you have to use cwm

I have rom manager then I press reboot phone in cwm but it keeps running in stock recovery!
use cmw recovery and first clear your data
atleat your device having 120 mb free space or more......
cwm
use attachment
flash it in stock recovery

Save CWM by skin1980 in the root of sdcard(/sdcard)
Save the DDLE1 backup u got here nd save it in sdcard.. the backup will be saved in a folder which has a path similar to /sdcard/clockworkmod/backup/2012-03-09.17.40.45/
Then Restart into stock recovery
Install the zip(Skin1980 zip)
CWM will open up(Yellow fonts)..
Select backup&restore>restore
If u hv saved in correct location as I stated.. U'll get that in the list..
Select it.. pick yes restore...
It'll take hardly 5-10mins

Followed these steps but it tells me "MD5 Mismatch!"
Ok installed the rom and everything is working fine (widgets,status bar,apps etc...) except my keyboard!! It is a firmware for samsung s5360 not a firmware for my Galaxy Y Pro b5510!
is there a specific rom for this phone?

if you can get into recovery mode you can either
1. restore a nandroid backup
2. format system data cache - mount system data cache - flash a custom rom zip
if you cant get into recovery mode then go into download mode and flash stock rom via odin (requires a pc)

What are you trying to install
Can you manually mount data in CWM?
Did you format data in CWM and then try to mount it?
Are you using the correct cwm?
Is it formatted in the correct file system for your kernel? Rfs/ext

BUGS-
1.Flash LENOVO_STORE.zip from below because there is no play store in lenovo devices, google it for a solution
IMEI-
If you get invalid imei and want to restore it without root, here is a TUTORIAL to flash imei with recovery
INSTRUCTIONS TO FLASH CTR-
1.Download recovery.img , replace the recovery in KK SP files with this one
2.In sptools, select scatter file, then untick everything below except recovery
3.Click downlaod
4.Now you have sucessfully updated your recovery
INSTRUCTION TO FLASH ROM-
1.You must have installed stock KK/RIO KK and CTR
2.If you are already on stock/RIO KK, just flash CTR
3.If you have already flashed CTR then only proceed
4.Place ROM in your sdcard
5.Wipe data/factory reset
6.Wipe dalvik cache
7.Flash ROM from sdcard

Bug reporting
Autofoucs seems to be broken.
In the update settings its reporting new update vibe ui 2.0 for the device frm which you had ported! Can you port vibe 2.0 in the next update of this rom! If you don't have time we can wait! :thumbup:

Can I install This Rom On FOTA kitkat or JB
Orange Reyo(ZTE Blade Q Maxi) STOK ROM BACKUP
Download
here you have a backup from stock rom of Orange Reyo (romanian version)
backup have stok recovery and stok files with some Orange apk's missing
with this you can restore your phone to factory rom and setings
rom will boot in romanian but i think you will be abble to set your language(if not, just ask me)
the backup wil be instaled with SPflashTool
in the downloaded package you will find the rom backup zip and the SPflahTool zip
extract both
hope you have the drivers instaled on the pc
-charge the battery, min 50% and turn OFF the phone
-open SPflahTool
-sellect the scatter file from Orange Reyo backup
all files will be charged automatical

###### if you want to flash just recovery, uncheck all others files except recovery ######

############# or uncheck all unwanted files to keep the desired files ###############

- press DOWNLOAD
- conect the phone to the pc
and the instal proces should START

There is stock rom for ZTE Blade Q Maxi with which can move apps from phone to SD card.
But it's a full of Viruses, adware, malware and hijacking trojans.
If someone know how to remove viruses and others stufs. Or find what was change in android to be able move to SD Card, and put that change in regular clear stock rom?
I'm also followed these instructions step by step and got bootloop and cant access recovery... is there any solutions now ??

copy the update .zip on sdcard and/or in internal(i dont remember well in wich partition recovery read the updates)
reboot the phone in recovery stok(not custom or TWRP)
do "wipe data factory reset"
select "install updates from sdcard"
select "yes"
and let the recovery to install
then reboot!

i cannot enter recovery mode i even flashed twrp sucesfully and i still cannot enter recovery. Phone remains blocked at logo after orange appears on screen. i even used hot air blower on it and still the same issue

My phone Micromax canvas juice a177 is not starting beause of unwanted recovery in it
i rooted my phone with kingo root and i downloaded mobileuncletools from play store and unfortunately i clicked on galaxy note3 recovery and phone is not staring properly and after that my phones is not detecting simcard so i asked my freinds to what to do now
the suggest me to download recovery of my phone of CWMR and follow some formating and wiping procedure and install stock rom of my phone once again
i tried this option but my phone is switched off and it clears dalvik cache and format/system and now it show only blackkk screen
SO PLEASE I KINDLY REQUESTING HELP ME TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM

Your phone must have bricked because of improper wipe and improper install. No need to worry. If you have already installed CWM, then the procedure is much easier. Download custom or stock rom(zip file mostly), copy it to your external sd card, then insert it into your phone, boot to CWM recovery, wipe phone and cache, install from zip file and just after about 20 minutes your phone will reboot. Your first boot will normally take much longer, no need to hesitate. Its normal. Have fun !
